hodkins and ttc
I am a survivor of Hodkin's and am now ttc. I was told by 12 different doctors that I did not need to save eggs before we began treatment. After my first round of chemo I had an allergic reaction to one of the drugs. They changed my medication and I asked again if I needed to save eggs and was told no (even by my gyno).
After treatment (chemo and radiation) we began trying and I did not have a cycle off of bcp. I went to the doctor and the testing began. I soon discovered that I have very little reserve left and a very small uterus. Then they told me that my FSH is 51. He told us we could ttc and they would just try to help with when we should try and giving me prometrum or provera to help me have a cycle. He gave us a 3% chance this way. Anyone else in this boat?
