Thanks for your support ladies. I go in for the D&C on Friday at 3:30pm. I opted for that because I wanted the genetic testing done and otherwise I would have to bring in a tissue sample which I could not bear the thought of. Hopefully it will go just as well as the last D&C. I am supposed to work this weekend but I will probably call out sick just to take a little time off.

Leah, I am so, so very sorry for you and your husband. I cannot imagine what the right words are, except just that we are all praying for you and thinking of you right now. You mentioned taking time off from work and I would take whatever time you are able to, and allow yourself to grieve. You mentioned that you are having a D&C on Friday- I will be praying for you. Will this possibly give any answers or information as to what happened? I am sure that you are completely overwhelmed right now but please post when you feel up to it so that we can check in and give you support when you need it. Again, I am so terribly sorry and will be thinking of you.

Leah...Seren is definitely right. Just take as much time as you can/need to in order to get yourself through this time. I'll be thinking of you and praying for you and your DH. Maybe the genetic testing will give you some answers.

We're definitely here to listen if you need to just vent or get it all out. It's definitely not fair that this sort of thing happens, especially when its already happened to you before.

Lots of hugs and prayers your way !

Hi ladies.

I've finally mustered up the courage to come back to this board (even if only for a few minutes!). I wanted to express my sympathy to you Leah for your loss. I am SO SORRY this journey has been so difficult for you!

To the others Syd, Seren, Casey (there are newbies--to me anyhow--that I hope I'm not missing) I'm glad to hear everything is going well.

We are still at a stand-still with no sight of being in a cycle anytime soon so I keep hoping it'll happen on it's own.

All the best to you ladies!
Dianne

Dianne! There you are. Hope you've been doing well. I'm sorry to hear that, but do you have a rough idea of when you can start another cycle again? Then just look forward to that! Everything happens for a reason, so stay positive and hang in there ok! Best of luck!!

Syd~Unfortunately, we need to get some things in order financially and with my DH's hours cut back, it's going to be a while before that happens. So, no set date, but it's not looking like we'll be actively trying until at least the middle of next year. But if mother nature decides otherwise, well, we'll be excited (and scared!).

All the best to you ladies. I think of you often!!!

Dianne

Hi! I am new to this also. I started 50mg Clomid on Day 4 od my cycle which was Sept 7th. However, my doctor told me to do the ovulation kits if I wanted and to schedule an appt on Day 32 of my cycle. I do not have an us scheduled to look at follicles. I wonder why that is???

Also, I know they say after the first day of LH surge no need to test anymore...however just out of curiousity I have tested yest and today again and the line is still just as dark as the reference line. Is that unusual?

I have been having cramping yesterday and today. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Thanks and good look to you all.

Im not sure why they arent doing follicle scans for you. You may just want to ask. Maybe because of the added cost?

I also had a positive OPK 3 days in a row. I read online it may be because I was testing first thing in the am, so if I need to test next cycle I will wait til the evening. I know that the first few days were negative, so I know it couldn't have been false.

I too have been having cramping, and sharp pains from time to time especially at night. I'm not sure why...hopefully this means we are prego and not about to start our cycles again. Good luck!!
