I think AF is on her way girls. I about started crying at walmart because Dh and his brother were picking on me. I'm totally breaking out and just generally feeling horrible. The DH even asked me when I was suppost to start, just because he knows the signs. Well maybe I'll get an annivesary present in May.

I think I'll test in 10 days from now...I should be expecting AF by then if she shows. I hate, hate, hate the 2ww it's freaking torture!

So you did your first IUI this cycle? You should have VERY good chance at conceiving! DH and I are trying a couple rounds of clomid but the RE had strongly suggested we move onto IUI. What have your experiences been? Do you have fertility coverage?

Hi! yes, this is our 1st assisted cycle with both drugs & IUI...my insurance is fantastic (I'm very lucky). We are covered 100% except for a $25 co-pay every time we have to go to the dr plus the cost of our meds, although they have been covered too except the co-pays.

My overall experience has been great - I have been seeing this dr on & off since I am 14 because of my endometriosis. The tube test was pretty bad but I responded well to the meds and the IUI was uncomfortable but fast. I am now having some side effects from the Ovidrel but am hanging in.

Wow, your insurance sounds incredible!
Unfortunately ours will only cover testing and no treatment. DH and I have decided we will do 2 rounds of clomid. I don't want to keep going with it because the side effects aren't any fun. If nothing happens by then we will move onto high tech - though we will have to save for it. I think an IUI with med/monitoring will be about $1,000 a cycle

$1000?!! Hopefully you won't need to go that route! I know at my RE office, an IUI is $300 - are the ultrasounds covered at all?

I hope that you don't even need to worry about it!!!

We go see the RE next week so I need to go over exactly how much it would be, but she did say that once we start fertility treatment everything will be billed as "treatment" including ultrasounds, bloodwork and then the injections/med will all be out of pocket, which I have heard can really add up.

It's a lot but nothing compared to IVF. I'm still a little worried we may need IVF because of DH' poor morphology. It sucks that money is standing in the way of us moving forward.

ok ladies im offically in the 2ww .yaaay .. just kidding well i had pos opks starting tue -thur i had an e2 1876, they didnt let me trigger because to many follies... so i sit here and analize every twinge hoping it work but it prob didnt ....so i have tingliey(sp)and TMI ALERT... diarrhea and get sick everytime i eat... wishfull think i guess.... but i guess i ramble to myself in here
