FINALLY some good news for me! I had my ultrasound this morning and have 1 egg measuring 16.5! RE says to test with the ovulation kit and probably will ovulate in a couple of days. We will then be doing IUI!!! If I haven't ovulated by Monday I am going to have another ultrasound. Please for me and send me some !! With DH's work schedule I would prefer IUI on Sunday, so we will see!!!

Congrats on the news and good luck to you this week. As my friend told me...you've done your job - the rest is up to him/your doc!

I'm in the 2 week wait now....and nervous as ever. My temp spiked from 94 to 97 and then 98 but 2 days ago it went down to 97 which is still high for me...but lower so I am nervous. boobs are sore...and I get stick to my tummy after meals and at night...but maybe its nerves? I also get strong cramps or pains in my tummy every once in a while, especially at night. Hoping for my but last time I was prego I knew instantly...and I dont have that same feeling...so I'm scared it may not happen yet. Regardless I am closer now than I ever have been...so I'll remain positive and keep sending you all extra baby dust!

Thanks ladies! I haven't had a pos OPK yet, maybe tomorrow (CD21)? I guess I have a stubborn little follie If I don't have a pos tomorrow then I will go back in for another ultrasound.

Hi All. I am new to the site, and basically new to the whole forums experience. My DH and I have been TTC for almost a year now. I don't think either of us expected it to take this long. I have wanted to start a family for some time now, but waited until my DH was ready. Once he was ready, I had to get checked out by my doctor...just to make sure that I could carry a child (due to a previous auto accident). After almost a year of trying, I have recently asked my doctor for help. I had several labs done. I last started on July 18, 09, two months ago. My doctor wanted to start me on medroxyprogesterone, which is generic for provera. I held off on taking this for a while, just because I kept hoping I would start on my own, and also I was kind of worried about the side effects. Well, after waiting and waiting...I decided to go ahead and take it. Today is day 2. My doctor said when I do start, that I will be put on clomid on days 5-9 of my cycle. Like everyone else, I am just trying to find support. I enjoy reading about others journeys, and especially about their success stories! Any advice or buddies would greatly be appreciated! Hi and welcome! Don't worry too much about the provera. It made me moody and I grew like a blimp (had to buy pants up a full size) but once I ovulated I shrunk back down. Clomid was also challenging - with the mood swings and hotflashes. But all in all I kept telling myself that compared to having a baby the symptoms are nothing (and worth it!) Just know with each step forward you are one step closer to being a mommy.

jjlove08- Well tomorrow is supposed to be my POAS day (14dpiui)! But not sure if i can bring myself to do it since i feel as if AF is on her way. I hate seeing 's on those tests. It's so emotinally crushing. I guess I'm just afraid of another disappointment and like a crazy person trying to hold on to any kind of hope for as long as I can.

Skyhope - I completely understand. I also like to stay positive for as long as I can. If AF doesn't start then will you test on Wednesday?

AFM: After using OPK's all weekend and getting negatives, I went to the RE to get another ultrasound. My follie was 23 and so they thought I ovulated, so they took blood to check progesterone. The nurse called and said that I didn't ovulate and now I am going to get a trigger shot and have an IUI on Wednesday!!

Thanks Skyhope! You have been a great support to me from the beginning and I do hope we both get our 's soon!! I will let you know how the IUI goes. I am a little nervous but also excited. DH has to give me the trigger shot tonight at 2:45am (not looking forward to it). Hope to hear good news from you on Wednesday.

jill - I'm so sad...2nd IUI didnt work for me. I didn't even have to POAS, showed up yesterday at 14dpIUI right on time. It's just so hard and it gets harder with each failed treatment cycle.
Two ladies from this forum (neutronanacy and margG) both got their BFP's on their first IUI! So don't let my BFN's discourage you because it can work the first time! I'm you..you have been great support to me too sending lots of your way! And don't worry about IUI it's really a piece of cake. Although I remeber i was really nervous as well on my first IUI .

jill- yes i plan on doing at lest one more IUI but looks like IVF is looking more and more like my only option. We are planning for Jan 2010 IVF if next one or two IUI's dont work out.
