Skyhope - I may be with you if IUI doesn't work for us. Although since DH is a resident physician for the next 3 years and we cannot afford IVF until he gets a "real" job. I guess we will cross that bridge when the time comes. Again I am really sorry AF showed up. I am preparing myself for the worse so I am not so disappointed. Keep me posted on the next step.

skyhope - i'm so sorry your iui didn't work. we havne't tried that yet - we have RE appt in November, and we're very worrried about money for ivf. please know you're in my thoughts & i'm sending positive thoughts & hugs... it's all so disappointing but you are not alone!!
jill - i'm crossing fingers for you too...

i ovulated early & it's been a good but wierd cycle off the meds. my breasts are sore, and i'm feeling crampy which don't know if it's a good sign or bad... my breasts will get sore before my period, so i'm just worrying that AF is coming early & i'm afraid to get my hopes up, but i'm trying to think positive too. it's such a roller coaster... i've never even gotten a positive pg test, so i have no idea what being pg is supposed to feel like. i know people say you will know, but i've thought it before - whether it was just wishful thinking who knows - but i really ahve no clue & that makes me more nervous... *sigh* off to acupuncture tomorrow again.... best thoughts ladies...

Hi! I am in the process of taking Provera. Today is day 7 of 10. When I start (praying I will), I will start my first cycle of clomid on day 5, and take through day 9. I am new to this process. I appreciate the support..and just having others to talk to. your IUI gives you that !

Jjlove08- so glad your iui went well. I hope you get your BFP real soon. I will be following you on Iui forum

Sams79- thx so much for well wishes and just being there...feels so good to have people know what if and numerous failed cycles feel like.I totaly understand what you mean about not not knowing how being pg feels like-I always think I know that my period is on her way but then I've heared that pms symtoms are similar to early pg symtoms...urghh so confusing! Really hope that this is your month

praying- keep us posted on your cycle as soon as it starts. Agree with you so nice to have this forum to talk to other women going through similar experiences.

AFM- I will be doing my 3rd IUI cycle early october. It's been hard but I have to move on and not lose hope. Hoping that 3rd time will really be the charm for me.

just had to vent... still no AF, and I'm early anyways, so she probably won't show up quite yet, but i woke up with cramping in my front and in my back.. my breasts are still sore, so now this whole thing is just an annoyance without a pregnancy & i'm trying to prepare myself. i just hate getting signals from my body that "this might be it" only to be let down. argh.... thnks for listening....

Even though this is only my first round of treatment...I feel your anguish. This situation is an emotional rollercoster I didn't bargain for. Don't know how to stop thinking about it when you have to schedule everything and nothing is really natural. Then have to listen to people say it will happen when it happens and DH wants a child so bad....what if I cant? I cant do anymore than I am. We don't have the coverage and money to conceive another way but through meds.

I like reading about others who are in the same boat and have the same concerns. We need to help one another!

Skyhope - When do you think you will do your next IUI?

Sams - Did AF arrive? So sorry you were having AF symptoms. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

kjune - Totally understand how you are feeling. This process seems so unnatural. When I was going through my IUI I was alone (DH had to work) and it felt strange that I was working on making a baby without him Keep your hopes up! It will happen for you.

AFM: Nothing new for me. I'm on 5dpiui. I have decided not to look for any symptoms and try not to think about it until next week.

Hi everyone...
So the last night of my 2 week wait I had the most vivid dream I ever had. I dreamt I took my test and got my BFP! I was so happy. I felt it through my whole body (even though I was sleeping). Then...I woke up and was crushed because I realized it was a dream.

I ran to the bathroom to take my test and it didn't register, so I waited a few hours and tried again and got my .

The next day (Thursday) I had to go to LA for a business trip and came on Friday. So...as promised, I drank my first bottle of wine (or glass of wine) in 4 months. )

I was really upset, but I am better now. I called my dr. Friday because she asked me to call on day 1 or when I got my BFP. I take clomid on days 3-7 so that means I was to start on Sunday. I didn't hear back from her, so I refilled my RX and started on my own on Sunday. I called again today, to let them know since I didn't get a call back that I started again on my own. Hopefully I will get a call back tomorrow. Kinda frustrating...but I didn't want to mess up my schedule.

Hope we all get our BFPs soon.

Two ladies from this forum (neutronanacy and margG) both got their BFP's on their first IUI! So don't let my BFN's discourage you because it can work the first time! I'm you..you have been great support to me too sending lots of your way! And don't worry about IUI it's really a piece of cake. Although I remeber i was really nervous as well on my first IUI .

Skyhope - I'm sorry. Keep your head up. It will happen for you soon. You'll look back on all this and know it happened at just the right time.

HI all... AF showed up this morning. I took my temp at my normal time & it had dropped back to pre-ovulation temp so I knew she would be here shortly. I know it's hard every month, but I'm really having a difficult time today and my mind is reeling.. do I take another month off of the meds, do I try it again with the procheive instead of prometrium... do I just wait since we have an appt with an RE scheduled for nov 4th? I don't know what to do.

I think I'm going to take today to let myself cry, get angry/disappointed, whatever else & then tomorrow is a new day. I read somewhere that during fertility, one needs to look at each month or each procedure, sometimes each hour as a clean slate... which means to really let the loss go & focus on THIS time, the now. I think this is a fabulous piece of advice, but I am not good at it yet - but I'm trying b/c I think it could really help me.

I just read everyone's posts & I'm not thinking clearly enough to respond to everyone individually but I want y'all to know I care & that I am rooting for all of us. I hope IUIs go well & that you get a BFP. I just found out yesterday that a good friend that has been going through fertility for 3 yrs is now pg (after NOT doing anything fertility related for the month) and I couldn't be happier for her b/c it's positive outcomes for others that are struggling that keep me going & remind me that good things really can happen. Thanks for listening ladies... I don't know what to do next, except for coming on here...
