Babehopes- wow, that must be really hard to base ovulation on "feeling it happen" are you taking your temp every morning?

nikkismommy- why do you take musinex? I think I've heard of that before, but can't remember why. Oh, and I don't know when I'm going to start OPK. Since you're starting July soon, I want to, too. I just have to buy one! I don't think I have time to get it on ebay now. Do you think I can find one at walmart?

Sarahdaisy...I take mucinex to thin my Cervical Mucus, as clomid dries it up( thats one of the side effects). Walmart has Answer Brand test, but they aren't as sensitive. Babymeds.com tell you when to start OPKing and when you will likely ovulate....Also, Prenatal Vitamins wouldn't hurt.

I posted a thread asking about mucinex, cuz I was so curious after you mentioned it! What day did you start taking it on, how much and how often? I think I might go ahead and take it too. It shouldn't hurt, right?

Hey Ladies!!...How's everyone doing so far?

Saradaisy..I started taking 1200mg of Mucinex daily on CD8.Also, you can take 600mg(2x daily) or 1200mg(1x daily). Just make sure that GUAIFENESIN is the ONLY active ingredient.This should be taken until after ovulation has occured...GOOD LUCK

Fortunately, I already had some in my house, and it only had Guaifenesin in it! Yeah! Thanks for the tip. Those pils are so hard for me to take for some reason. Yuck. Anyway, I'm doing fine, how are you and everyone else here? The days are slowly ticking by. It would be so nice to get pregnant this month! I want to so badly! I can't believe its been almost 3 years since my hubby and I started trying to conceive naturally. And back then I thought it would be so easy! I thought I would just get off the pill, and within 3-6 months, hopefully sooner, I'd be pregnant! sigh. Though it does work that way for some people. I know 6 pregnant ladies right now! And they are all nearly newly married and younger than me!

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't posted much. I will do better to get to know everyone and post more. I'm currently on cd8, and I usually ovulate around 15-16, sometimes a bit later. This is my 2nd cycle of clomid, 3rd cycle ttc #3.

Has anyone started getting cramps from Clomid?..or any other side effects?...boy oh boy, I certainly got it bad. I'm soaking in Epsom Salt, heard it's good while TTC.

I've had an occasional pain, but nothing major. My back is killing me tonight, though. Maybe from going swingdancing? Overall, this has not been a very eventful process so far. I'm on CD13 and haven't started an OPK yet. I haven't even purchased one! I don't even know if I'm going to. On one hand, I'd really like to know when and if I ovulate, and on the other hand, I figure, my DH and I are going to BD every other day from day 10-20. Surely, we'll catch my ovulation day that way!

The reality is, even fertile couples only have about a 20% chance of getting pregnant on any given month. I can't believe that my hubby and I might have everything perfect this month and still nothing will happen! Ahhhh!
Well, babydust to you all. Lord willing, we'll all get our BFP this month. Wouldn't that be nice! Nikkismommy- hope your cramps are subsiding! Hopefully that is a good sign.

Hi ladies -sorry I haven't posted in few days - i'm on CD9 - i'm going for u/s on CD12 and hopefully trigger shot that day. I've been having really bad clomid side effects mainly hot flashes which are especially bad this month (it could be because Dr increased my clomid dosgae this month from 50mg to 100mg). This is supposed to be my last natrual clmid cycle before moving to IUI.

I had the same problem when my Dr. increase my clomid also the hot flashes were horrible. I also had stomach destestion which was really uncomfortable. It ks so nice to know that someone out there is feeling the same thing I am.

03/09 First visit w/fert doc.- went well all testing done on hubby and myself...results PERFECT!

04/09 First round of Clomid 50mg/Took forever to grow some follies/2 weeks later Ovidrel was told go home and have fun/ Endometrin for a week then...

05/09 Waiting for Aunt Flo 2nd round of Clomid 50 mg/ Follies came quick this month 1 good one about 22mm/Ovidrel and time intercourse/Endometrin for 2 weeks then...another

06/09 Round 3 Clomid 100mg this time/follies were so quick and furious almost had to cancel the cycle 3 really good one on the left all above 23mm felt lots of cramps witht this one/Ovidrel and timed intercourse/ Prometrium 600mg a day for 2 weeks....

07/06/09 Now just waiting to start Clomid again....Happy Birthday to me!


7/8/09 Starting round 4 of clomid....75mg this time Dr. said 100mg was to much. Probably going to try IUI this time maybe we will have better luck.

Clomid didn't work for me (i did two cycles and moved on), but it might work for you. Be aware the fact of Clomid which causes CM dryness. It dries your CM so you should be definetly aware of this if your doctor didn't tell you yet.

Hi everyone!!...I'm feeling alot better today(no cramps....Today I tested positive for LH......My GYNO gave me a 6mths refill on Clomid, after I did a coloscopy and Cryosurgery. He said all I needed was Clomid and an OPK, and to BD every other day. It worked 3yrs ago( hence my daughter), but he still insist I don't need ultrasounds done.

Hello everyone!

You know when a pregnant lady says, "i think it's going to be a girl." Then next time it's "I think it's going to be a boy." That is how I feel about whether or not I'll get pregnant this month. Some days I just feel like for sure this is my month, like it's going to happen! But yesterday and today I've felt like, nope, I bet I'm not going to get pregnant this month. It just doesn't feel like it's going to happen. Who knows. Scheduled BD through day 20 and today is day 16. Then I have to somehow get through the waiting time until I can test! How do we all do this month after month??
