I didn't test today because I was going to make myself wait and test every other day instead. But I won't need to test tomorrow cuz
 came today! This has been a really tough month for me emotionally, but today was not as terrible as I thought it would be. A friend of mine did 9 months of fertility treatments before her BFP, and she told me that I should think of this month as my practice month. That helped prepare me for a negative test result and I'm already looking forward to this next cycle. This month I'm doing IUI with ovidrel and sonograms! Yeah! That was my plan last month, but it didn't happen. I'm still rooting for the rest of you ladies, though!! I hope, hope, hope you all get your BFP soon!!!

TTC naturally since October 2006 April '09- finally went to fertility specialist, DH and I are tired of trying on our own! HSG done, no blockages! DH is completely healthy- Yeah! Cycle #1, June/July 6/23- Day 1 of first cycle doing fertility treatments. Plan is Clomid, ovidrel and IUI. 6/24- found out not doing IUI this cycle, due to office closed when sonogram is due!  Plan is clomid only and trying on our own, or "timed relations" as my nurse called it... hehe! 6/27-7/1, CD5-9, taking clomid 100mg, then timed  7/20-  Cycle #2, July/August 7/21- CD1, Out of town for scheduled sonogram day, so no IUI again this month. 7/25-7/29- clomid 8/18- came Cycle #3, August/September 8/18- CD1 Plan is clomid, ovidrel and IUI this month! Yeah!

sarahdiasy-so sorry to hear about your BFN! But please don't despair it will happen sooner than you know it. I'm keeping you in my prayers. I am also moving on to IUI next cycle if it turns out to be bfn this month!
Jjlove8- so glad your progesterone levels look good! Way to go girl!

Skyhope - I'm keeping my fingers crossed and praying for a  Lauralillies - that is so exciting!! When do you figure the due date is? When is your first OB appointment?

JJlove ~ Ive figured my due date is March 29, we'll see of the u/s agrees. Im seeing an RE so I go for another beta tomorrow morning to make sure its doubling, I have a few u/s with them, then Im released to an OB.

Skyhope for some reason i miss read your your blog, but sending LOTS & LOTS of and you and JJLOVE get your !!!Lauralillies...That's a great # AFM>>>I'm on CD 2 today. Clomid gave me an exact 28 day last cycle, so i'll see what happens without it this cycle( taking clomid every other month reduces the chance for cysts) says Doc.Nurse said they may up my clomid if this natural cycle doesn't work

Is that why I had a perfect 28 day cycle? Cuz of clomid? I was wondering about that. nikkismommy- I'm so sorry about your BFN. What a bummer! Here we go on another cycle together!
lauralillies- I'm praying that everything is fine and your little one keeps growing just like it's supposed to!

Skyhope - When are you testing? This weekend? I am going to try and wait until Tuesday (CD29). Have you had anymore AF symptoms? I have been bloated and crampy the last few days. I am hoping it is a good sign and not just gas
 ! I hope we both get 's!!!!Laura - Did you get your beta results back? Are those the numbers in your signature?

jjlove08- I'm waiting to test until Tuesday as well (of course that is unless I get my period in the meanwhile). That would be CD30 for me (my cycles are almost always 28-29 days). I've been having some AF-like symtomps lately like bloating and increased discharge which i usually get few days before AF! But who knows I've heared that that could be a pg symptom as well. I hope we end up
this month, wouldnt that be the best thing ever?

Hello Everyone...
Got room for one more in here? My name is Nancy and I just turned 39. DH is 30 and we have been married for almost 4 yrs. TTC #1 since 9/08 so this is my 11th cycle We tried the "just have lots of sex and it will happen approach" for the first 6 months and then decided that we needed to speed things up due to my age. Had a HSG in May and tubes and all internal parts looked good, DH had an SA and swimmers were good too. Started seeing a RE in June. Had Day3 blood work in June and my levels were "normal". (I was so happy because I was afraid they would be bad b/c of my age but was pleasantly suprised) Started using OPK the last couple of cycles and have found them very helpful to time our BDingSo this is where we are currently...Got on 7/7/09 and current cycle was first on Clomid (100mg) I took it from CD3-7 and went for my first ultrasound. She found 3 follies all measuring around 14mm. Went for 2nd US this past Saturday in hopes that they would be big enough to trigger me and then do an IUI Sunday. Well they weren't  The lead was only 16.5mm Went back for an US this Monday morning and the follicles were finally a good size: 20, 16 and 15 but neither DH nor I could take off work during the week to go all the way into NYC so doing an IUI was out of the question this month I am so disappointed. I know doing it the "natural way" is more fun but I was hoping for a little medical help this cycle. My only saving grace is that were 3 follies growing instead of 1 so my chances of 1 of the eggs getting fertilized is increased I guessThanks for letting me vent and wishing everyone on here lots of BFP this month!!!
