Wow, we've been busy today, haven't we? This is the 10th post to this thread today! You'd think I'd have better things to do than count how many times people had posted today... haha!! I do love this thread though, and it makes me happy when I get to read lots of new posts!

Vacantsea and Snowwhite! Vacantsea, you're right, we both have 11 days in our count down!
This cycle I've been way less stressed and obsessed than I was last cycle. I've been able to forget about the fact that I'm TTC, which is nice. Last month, I was so conscience of it EVERY SINGLE DAY and, it seemed like, every minute of every day. It's a nice break to mentally not be so involved. Anyway, when I saw that Vacantsea mentioned how we both have 11 days till testing, I actually got a little excited, instead of feeling apathy. So yeah! 11 days till testing! It's scary and exciting at the same time.

Did anyone on here read the analogy to TTC that I wrote and posted a while ago? I think I'm going to post it here in this thread so ya'll can read it. I think it's pretty good and so accurately describes how I feel! I hope you are all doing well and keeping your chin up! -Sarah

I was thinking the other day...

Imagine that Christmas is about a month away. This year, there are no parties or get togethers prior to Christmas day. All of the celebration will be on the 25th, or possible later on. So all month long you clean and bake, shop and get ready for the big day.

There's only one catch... even with all the time, thought, care, and money you have put into preparing for Christmas this year, there's a possibility that you will wake up Christmas morning, and nothing will happen. It will be like any other day. No presents, no family gatherings, no yummy meal. Nonetheless, even though you have no idea if Christmas day will happen or not, you still have to clean, bake, and shop all month long in preparation!

This is what doing fertility treatments is like for me. All month I put time, energy, money, and countless thoughts (and prayers!) into trying to conceive, all for the hope that I will get the positive pregnancy test results at the end. All this effort put forth, all the while knowing that I might NOT get what I want! Trying to conceive is hard! Emotionally and physically. I'm so thankful that my God loves me and is faithful to take care of my heart through all this! Whether or not I get my BFP at the end of the month.

SARADAISY....I read your poem back in june on another thread. I thought it descibed the excrutiating pain and lonliess I felt before I had my DD. Lately the same feeling started to resurface, so I hope we both get that this month!

jjlove08: It's not in the plans at all right now to recheck the progesterone, I'm just going to play it by ear for the rest of this cycle. If I'm not pregnant or on the rag in three weeks time, we'll restart Provera and up the Clomid dosage.

Sarahdaisy: I would not know at all what point I am in my cycle if I didn't catch glimpses of my ticker in my signature... It's surprising to me that I have been so relaxed and not stressed this cycle. Knowing that I'm finally doing something about my infertility has kind of mellowed me out a bit! It'll be testing time before we know it!

Saw the Dr. for US today CD 14. My follies have not grown despite taking FSH. I am suppose to go back on Saturday to see if anything has progressed. It was disappointing. I usually ovulate by now and my OPK's have been negative so far. I was hoping for more but maybe it will happen by Saturday.

Hi ladies, just checking in...I have my IUI scheduled for today 3:30pm. Had u/s this past Saturday and had 4 follies!! Almost caused RE to cacnel but DH and I decided to move fwd. I really feel positive about this cycle. Hope all you ladies get i will be for all of you.

Skyhope, how did it go? Were you nervous? I'm kinda nervous thinking about mine next cycle. I'm so glad you and your DH decided to move ahead with it. How come you almost changed your mind? I'm praying for you, too!

Hi sarhadiasy so good to hear from you!

I was very nervous about my IUI to the point that I couldn't sleep the ngiht before. But it wasn't bad at all. An hour before the procedure they ask your DH to give a semen analysis and then an hour later you go in for your IUI. IUI only takes few minutes after which you typically stay laying down for few minutes. I felt little crampy afterwards but nothing too bad. I had 4 follies this time around and RE was the one who suggested to cancel due to risk of multiples. After careful consideration, DH and I decided to move fwd with it. Last month i had 5 follies (Clomid+HGC cycle) and I still did not get pregnant. I reeally hope IUI will be the answer!

Wow, how exciting! I don't mind the idea of twins at all. What about you? My RE said that there is a 7% chance for twins with IUI and less than a .5% chance for more than twins, though in the 30 or so years he's been practicing, he's never gotten triplets. I'm not too worried about either! I'm glad you decided to go ahead with it! It would be so wonderful if this worked for you!!

Sarahdiasy and neutronancy- I would love to have twins agree with Nancy two babies in one shot sounds great! But lord knows I'd feel so blessed with only one!
