well i started my 2nd cycle of clomid on the 13th cd 3-7 but i will be goin to my re for a follical scan then the ovidrel shot to relaes my egg this month
has anyone done that b4? im nerves about the shot

Hi.miami Baby. sorry for the late reply :-) I dont have short or irregular cycles.. my period is every 28 days like clock work.. I just dont ovulate and I have cysts, Not sure why doc put me on 1-5 he just handed me the script and said start it on the first day of your period I should O is 8 days .. lets hope this works ********so much baby dust and prayer goin your way*******

Hi Ladies

I haven't been on for a while but we are on our 4th and last cycle of Clomid (start Clomid this Friday) and the next step for us is to see if my tubes are blocked. Not sure how the FS is going to do this wether it be a HSG or a Lap I'm not sure. But I was wondering if there were any other tests I should be requesting as well?

I feel that this last 3 cycles have been the biggest waste of time and this last 4th cycle we are just going through the motions. I know that we O on Clomid cause the BT confirms that so I can only come to the conclusion that my tubes are blocked. DH SA was perfectly fine plenty there and they swim fine.


I'm hoping and that we don't have to move down the IUI or IVF path as financially I don't think we could do it.

Hey ladies! havn't posted in a while, been super busy. Anyway, i had a bit of a bad day today. I had my progestrone level checked yesterday (CD 23) and it came back as a 12.6 . she said that on an unmedicated cycle this would have been good but since i was on clomid they expected my level to be somewhere around 15. she told me that she couldnt say for sure that i didnt ovulate, but she suspects that i did not. bummer. So they uped my dose to 100mgs of clomid. the good news is that a few months ago when i had my levels check on CD 23 (unmedicated) my levels were only at a 3, so at least we are getting somewhere i supose. Trying to keep some hope alive....

Hey Brittney,
Long time no hear. I have been fairly busy. My progesterone level last month was at 4.6 and this month it was at 24.8 on CD 21. My doctor's nurse said they like to see it above 10 but not above like 30. I was on 100 mg this month and I am waiting on or a Baby dust to everyone.

Zultbear!!! Dont loose hope! This one could be the one that does it for you! WHat mg have you been taking all these months? On another note, I felt the same way - that if we have to move on to IUI or IVF it's too expensive. Well IUI is NOWHERE near the cost of IVF. I spoke to a few girls from dif. states. Its totally affordable!!! Just wanted to share that with you =o)

Hi! Just wanted to reply to Zultbear about not giving up hope yet. Have you spoken with your insurance company? Some companies will cover infertility treatments including IUI.

Hey ladies!
went to the doc today and he said I have 4 mature follies need to everyother day starting today because I am ovulating!!! woo friekin hoo!! I did get some information for you all.. I asked doc what the difference was on the days you start clomid? answer:" any day after day one is like starting a race unhealthy and half way through getting exhausted and trying to drink water for energy... not gonna work.. basically if you start day 1 your eggs are releasing WITH the clomid and not after so they start off healthy " He also said most docs go by the drug information given to them rather than their own research.. he said he has been researching for years and the drug company cant change their original information yet BUT studies show more success and better follies with 1-5 they are healthier he says! let me tell you .. when I asked that question he went on and on about this and it made perfect sense.... so I hope this helps you all!! I am hoping and for all of us... God only knows how much I want nothing more than to give my husband a baby.. to you all.. thinking of you!

Thanks for the information about the difference in the days for taking clomid, very interesting. I am seeing my doc tomorrow to see if he can see any follicles and will see what he says for taking it on days 1-5, maybe i should change to.

I will start Nov. 1st again showed up today so CD 5-9 is the 1st I will start wow....getting on track at the beginning of the month. I did get a bright two pink lines with ovulation kit last month with a regular ovulation test. I tried CBE Fertility test and nothing ever showed up for the whole days from CD 12-17....My progesterone level was only 4.6 the first month. This month it was 24.8, but showed up this month so am on Clomid right now and will probably use the cheaper ones being that my body sometimes does not ovulate even with medication. Thanks for the advice

Hey ladies!!
This morning I took a hpt and got a faint The preggo line was slightly lighter than the result line so I will take 3 more of different brands today just to be sure!
Oh I really hope the test Isn't a liar :-) Its hard not to get super exciting to see even a faint positive because I havent even had that for the past 8 months !! to all and you are in my thoughts and prayers!
