I am also starting my very first round of Clomid (50 mg) on day 4-8 if
 ever shows up! So probably 11/5 or 11/6! I'm nervous and excited! I am also on Metformin. I'm hoping we can all share wonderful news of  for the holidays! Good luck and  for us all!

Round Four... Totally Frustrated
Hi everyone my name is Hope... I have been married to my wonderful husband Roy for 2 years now. We are just hoping and praying to start a family!!!
we have two silly puppys: Buddy is 6 years old Zoie is 10 months oldWe have been TTC since july of last year. We finally found out we had fertilty problems in March of this year. So we have been trying ever since to have a baby. Our doctor encouraged us to try clomid and IUI!!!  August/09 first iui  Clomid 50mgs.  Bloodtest came back:   so sad.September/09  I had a cyst on my right overie and it was giant!!! They canceled my cycle. totaly sad!!! October/09 Super excited to try again. I did my clomid and got a color change saturday and I called and they told me to come monday!!!! Little did they know I ovulated sunday night. SOOOO sad to find out that I missed my ovulation...Now its november tomorrow is my appointment and I'm praying for no cysts!!! I'm praying so hard that we actually get to have another iui done. He up my dose of clomid to 100mgs. So I'm praying soo hard!!! Lots of to you all... you all know how hard this is... I wish there was chats to talk to people who know what your going through. Its really hard, so I want to send my best wishes to you all!! good luck and god bless!!!

Hi Britabug...I'm glad you are doing well!! I was told by my RE that CD21 Progesterone Levels of 4 and above show ovulation. They would like the progesterone level to be above 10 in order to support pregnancy. My first month my level was 8.6 and they put me on suppositories in case we had conceived. The RE said I definitely ovulated. Last month when Clomid didn't work my level was at 1
 I have also been using OPK'S and they matched up perfectly with what the doctor said. First month was a positive, 2nd month nothing...not even close. Have you been using OPK'S?Sending lots of your way!!

Yes Bri, i used OPK and i got one almost positive, but i gave up after that lol. i'm having spotting today (which isn't normal for me) usually i just go right into my period. I didnt think that 12.6 was that bad of a number but what do i know
. The first dr's visit i went to just happened to be on CD 23 for me so they took some blood to see where i was at in my cycle and it was a 3 so i know im at least makeing some progress..... trying to stay positive!  on the plus side ive got four in a row now (i usually just had like one a year! lol) so i know something is working.... BRITT

Me: 23 hypothyroid with antibodies, PCOS/insulin resistance with annovulation. Hubby:30, Perfect! Clomid Cycle #2: 10-03-09 2ww over, is here...... 10-05-09 CD 3 started clomid 50mgs again. 10-26-09 CD 24 Progs. level checked (12.6) should be at a 15, so no ovulation...on to 100mgs when comes to town...CLOMID CYCLE #3 100MGS 11-02-09 here!11-04-09 Started clomid 100mgs

I am starting Clomid for the first time this month. My husband and I have tried to start a family for the last three years. I have PCOS. I am currently on provera and will be on clomid. I am not sure what day to start the clomid of my cycle? What does your doctor suggest? I know some say 3-5 of your cycle and others 5-9. I know someone who even took it on day 1-5 and ended up pregnant. I lost the sheet from my doctor that had all this info on it and he isn't currently in town. Can anyone help a newbie? Please

Hi Everyone! Mind if I join? I started 50 mg Clomid and triggering with Ovidrel on the 1st! This is my second round of 50 mg Clomid. The 1st time was a year ago with a trigger of Ovidrel, nothing happened BUT I did have two mature follicles! Hoping for the same in terms of follicles this time. If all goes well I'll have my 1st IUI next week! Good luck to everyone and I hope many of us get our

Hello everyone!!... It's been awhile since I posted. I hope everyone is doing well!! I am on CD 11 today and I have been using OPK'S. I haven't gotten a positive yet, but I am cramping like crazy. I was on 150 mg CD 3-7 this cycle. Is anyone close in their cycle and experiencing any side effects? BTW - My last dose was on 11/6 aznd I am still having hot flashes
Is this normal?Hopefully we all get our soon!! for everyone!!

hi bri...i have noticed that some women taking clomid with pcos will respond and then stop responding...not always just a trend?...the hot flashes can last a while...just think of it as a good sign that it is working for you...i tried clomid 4 times (technically 5) the first time was 50 and i had some mild hot flashes and definite moodiness...the second time at 50 was nada and no ovulation...at 100 i had a mature folly on both ovaries major major hot flashes for quite a while after the last pill and i got my bfp...chemical...another 100 cycle and nada no hot flashes no growth...upped to 150 and again nada i think it just broke lol...best of luck to you and hope you get your bfp...

Dylansmommy.... Thanks for the response. My RE did say that is not uncommon for Clomid to work one cycle and not the next. She said she thinks I will have a good response to 150 mg. So far I'm responding
!!!! I just don't know if I'm responding in the correct manner.

Hi Bri79, just noticed that we have follicle check on the same day!! Hope we get good results. This is my first cycle of treatments and am very excited. I'm taking clomid 100mg and i'm on cd9.

Hey all, I started my first round of clomid 50, 2 pills a day for the next 5 days.. Have a follicle scan on 11/17 to see what the sizes are and hopefully on 11/19 we get to do the IUI. Havn't had any side affects from the Clomid yet but today was 1st day taking Clomid.
Do you guys take Clomid twice a day as well??? Hope for all you girls to get good follicle scans

Wished I could have joined you for this cycle... !! But I hope you two have good scans and
for nice size follies!!! Even if you don't get a pos on the opks just BD like crazy! You never know what will happen! And hope you all of you guys see your Soon! I'm rootin for you all!

Whenver
decides to rear her head (as of right now 8 days late,all my friends are hoping i'm preg just not showing up on hpt haha no symptoms nothing) I will be starting just on Clomid alone 50mgs on days 4-8 dunno if i should ignore that and do 3-7 like everyone else! *lol* But i think i usually ovulate late so thats what Dr said,we will see! I Hope I get one soon too! A nice X-mas present that would be!
