Hello Everyone... I will be starting my 3rd round of Clomid on 11/2, 150 mg CD 3-7. I wanted to see if anyone else will be starting Clomid soon and wants to be cycle buds. Also, has anyone taken 150 mg and what were the side effects? I was on 100 mg last cycle and the side effects were terrible. That cycle didn't work at all either I'm really hoping for better luck this time.

One more question, my first cycle of Clomid was at 50 mg and it worked great, just not good enough. My RE upped me to 100 mg and it didn't work at all. Does this make any sense? Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm new to the forum but I started my very 1st cycle of Clomid (50mg) today CD 3-7. I'm glad we can be cycle buddies because this is all new to me, as far as starting the meds. I'm for a within the next coming wks. I hope this cycle clomid is much better for you. to YOU and all the other ladies on this forum.

I am starting Clomid in November, not sure what day yet have to call my RE once I get my AF. I will update once I know more details.

Also, I noticed you have PCOS and irregular cycles..so do I...how do you know when you ovulate??? Need help.....thanks

I will be starting my first round of clomid tomorrow (50 mg). My RE doesn't think it will work, but I'm still trying to remain hopeful. If this first round doesn't work it's straight to injections (yikes!). Anyways, hope everyone gets this time around!!!

Hello!

I'm starting my first cycle with Clomid too. I am hopeful and excited about this new approach.

I've also been reading "Making Babies: A Proven 3-Month Program for Maximum Fertility", which has given me a boost from feeling like my body has failed me. I am eating better, drinking more fluids, taking supplements, and am hoping all of this, along with the Clomid, will do the trick!

I'm thinking good thoughts for us all!!

Hi! Started on 10/28 with Clomid and just finished last night. I have an ultrasound scheduled for this Thursday and I think that night I'll do an injectible with IUI to follow.

First time trying the IUI so not sure what to expect. Hoping this round is successful!

I am starting my first round of Clomid 50mg this month. I'm currently on Provera to end my current cycle, and I have another week of it to go... so by my calculations, I'll probably be starting my Clomid on like 11/14? I'm taking it on CD5-9.

Hi everyone.... Thanks for all of the replies. Hopefully we see allot of this month!!

Mettie....I have been using OPK'S starting on CD 10. They seem to work very well when my body is responding to Clomid. I have also had Ultrasounds done on CD 13 or 14 by my RE. She can tell which follicles will produce an egg by the size. I test every AM and PM, at the same time every day. This can get pretty costly when you get the test from the drugstore so I found a website which has them very cheap. It's....saveontests.com. Please keep me posted on everything

Hey Bri, in response to your question. I think we are in the same boat. I did 50 mg in Sept - it def. worked I had pos. OPK on CD 13 and all the side effects imagineable. My dr. still put me on 100 for october. No side effects at all, not even ovulation pains, OPK was not as clear but pretty much pos. on CD 15/16. I am like 99% sure that 100 mg did not work on me as well as 50. So i guess you confirmed my suspicion that it is possible.

I am awaiting any day now, have an appt for Thurs w. a new RE. WOuldnt be too sad if i didnt have to go due to good news lol, doubtful though.

I started at the end of October 50 mg days 3-7, but I am getting 'hit' again for the second time in one cycle 100 mg days 11-15 since the 50mg didn't quiet do it, and I started today, so I thought I would come here. I went for my follicle study today on cycle day 11 and there were five measureing 8mm, and my lining was only 1.7mm! Not so good...This was on 50mg days 3-7. So, today she is hitting me again with 100 mg of Clomid days 11-15, and estradiol for 4 days (starting Saturday) to thicken my lining. I am & that it works this month. I want my !! If I don't get pregnant this cycle next month I will start out on 100 mg. of Clomid. She said I have lazy ovaries. If Clomid doesn't work then she wants to try Femera (spelling?) Anyone heard of being hit twice with Clomid in one month?

Mind if I join?...AFM I'm on CD 3 and just started clomid today.... I'm taking 100mg CD3-7 unmonitored, but using OPK's to determine ovulation. Clomid worked for me in the past so WTH?......Anyway, hoping we can support each other and share our experiences....

Hey Bri! i was in the Sept clomid and october clomid forum , how are you doing? I'm doing okay. Been super busy this past month lots going on. Anyway, i have a question just wondering if anyone could help me out. About a week ago now i got the results back from my CD 24 bloodwork my progesterone level was 12.6, she (the nurse) told me it was in the middle and i prolly didnt ovulate. she said that on a medicated cycle they expect to see the levels over 15. Before this i've always been told that over 10 is good. so they upped my clomid to 100mgs. i still havnt got my i normally have 31 day cycles and that would make today or tomorrow time for her to visit. I'm just confused i guess. What have some of your prog levels been on CD 23 or 24? Thanks!
