ME-27: MILD PCOS
DH-26: SA-wnl; morphology of 3%


My husband and i have been ttc for 2 years. We did 3 months of clmoid with my OBGYN. Nothing. Didn't ovulate and i wasn't monitored. Now i am with an RE doc. Dx of MILD PCOS. Did Clomid days 6-10. Went to day and i have a nice 20mm follical. Getting my HCG tonight, intercourse tonight and IUI Friday. Im extremely nervous. My DH has a great sperm count but a morpholgy of 3% when 5% and greater is normal. It just doesnt seem we can win.

The thing i am holding on to is that i have never ovulated on my own. Im hoping that this will work because I NEVER had an egg before! Im still young right? Praying that this IUI is sucessful! Has anyone else out there had a suscess with their first IUI??

Hopeful the main thing that I can say is stay positive!! The good thing here is that you do have two follicles and they are nice size. I am the same age as you and our chances are fairly high I had been diagnosed with pcos too...in the case that you do not get a bfp this month (but you just might) I would ask the re about starting metformin in addition to the clomid. You can read up on metformin for all the details but it has been known to to assist in ovulaton for pcos sufferes. I hope this helps!! wishing you much

You're in great shape since you're ovulating from Clomid! That's awesome! Best wishes for this cycle!
