This is my very first cycle on Clomid. I excited and nervous. I started on 10/31, so I'm happy to have you ladies as cycle buddies. I hope we all get this month. We just have to continue and believing. Lots & Lots of to all of you.

Well this will be my 3rd dose tonight and I don't feel anything. Do you think the clomid is NOT working? I just expected to feel something. Don't mind me ppl I going drive myself nuts.

Muslimprincess!.Glad to have you you both here. It's completely normal to have hot flashes, headaches and nausea while taking clomid, as they are all side effects. Are you being monitored? What CD did you take clomid?

LadyGigi!!...Are you being monitored? I wish my Dr would. He handed me a script and said to use OPK's.

Anyone using OPK'S?

AFM..I have only experienced a bit of nausea on day 2 of clomid then nothing...

HI Ladies! I'd like to join if I may. I started Clomid on 11/3. I take 150mg. I have my follow up appt on 11/11, but probably won't have IUI until 11/16 or 11/17 (I have a 33 day cycle).

This is actually my 7th and final IUI with Clomid only. We'll move on to Injectables if it doesn't work this month. My RE always asks me to use an OPK, but I never see an LH surge. They have to give me a trigger shot (Ovidrel) for me to Ovulate.

Wishing you all well. For the first timers, just try and relax and stay focused. This is a stressful process and this site is a wonderful support.

AFM- I usually don't get any side effects with Clomid until the week after I stop it. I usually get a bad migraine. All the hormone fluctuations kind of suck....sometimes a hot flash or two...but nothing too crazy.

Well I have to go back on the 11th to get another ultrasound, so yes I guess I'm being monitored... That's the only. I don't have a opk though.

Well I see you and me are started the same day and have the ultrasounds on the same day. Make sure and check in with me that day if you get a chance...

My girlfriend told me to focus on follical size and cm, cp? My doctor didn't tell me that... Can some one fill me in on how to check for these things? It's been a while for my girlfriend and she said she forgot how to check.

Muslimprincess...Since you have an U/S scheduled for 11/11 you can ask your Doc what size your follies are. As for CM it should be clear and stretchy. Cervical Position around ovulation should be high, soft and open. Then after ovulation it should return to low and hard, and if preggers it would remain high but hard and closed

Nikki'smommy....My doc gave me the same script you have and also advise me to use the OPK. I'll start using the OPK this Sunday (CD 10 for me). Keeping my and praying for a . I'm sooo excited but anixous at the same time, lol.

How's everyone doing?. Has anyone has or is taking metformin?.What are the side effects?



LadyGigi...I too will start taking OPK pretty soon on CD 10 (Monday). Also I have a Dr's appt tomorrow and i'm almost sure he's gonna put me on metformin.

AFM...I'm doing just fine and about to take my daughter out for ice-cream. I am so anxious to start then unto the dredded 2ww. Corresponding with all of you is quite comforting and aiding in me in keeping my sanity LOL.....

I didn't feel anything either...but I did ovulate this month!! My blood work came back great!

Hello cycle buddies....I start Clomid and IUI this month which I think is going to be monitored...So any advice on what to expect will be greatly appreciated.

Nikki- I am on Metformin for my PCOS and I take 3 pills a day...The only side effects I have had is an upset stomach with them until your body gets used to them so you will probably lose weight as well... I have been on them since July 08...What is he putting you on Metformin for? PCOS?
