Month 4 on clomid

This is my first post on this website, but I did read about all the dangers of clomid before signing on. The first month I thought I was going crazy taking it, hot flashs, mood swings and everything. That was 50mg I'm now on month 4 starting tonight with 150mg. I will definitely talk to my doc (OBGYN) after this month if things don't work out. This sounds like a serious drug to take. Any suggestions or questions to ask the dr would be helpful.

I'm about to finish my second cycle. The only advice I can give you is to make sure that both you and your partner are tested before starting clomid. Your bloodwork should be tested for ovarian reserve (egg health), tubes for potential blockage (hsg) and sperm count at a min. Good luck. I find out Friday if we are pregnant. If not, I am strongly considering IUI or IVF.

Well we're not pregnant and are on clomid cycle #3. We discussed IUI but decided to take a vacation cycle day 10-16 instead. we left the temp chart and ovulation sticks at home. We're hoping that some rest and relaxation will do the trick. My fingers are crossed, 10 more days to go.

Thank you for keeping us updated. So sorry that the clomid cycles haven't worked for you thus far. I would definitely recommend looking into IUI if all your other tests come back that you both are in good reproductive health. Maybe the little swimmers just need a little extra assistance getting to the finish line! Have a great little vacation, relax and enjoy!

Thanks for the advice my OBGYN is going to refer me to a specialist if I fail the next two rounds of clomid. I have had all the tests, along with my wonderful husband, who was a trooper. I seem to be fine now that I'm ovulating. Wish me luck because teaching junior high kids and taking clomid around winter break just doesn't mix

Update

We're not pregnant. I'm staring my 4th cyle of clomid 50 mg tomorrow. We've completed our insurance authorization paperwork for IVF and will start that process in Jan if we're not successful this month.
