Unhappy

Hey,
I'm on cycle day #12, did my first round of Clomid on days #5-#9, 150 mg. Did not notice any side effects, and, honestly, I always thought that those women complaining about mood swings were simply stressed out b/c of the whole situation and were blaming it on Clomid... However, the past two days I have been so miserable and depressed, I'm starting to think that my little theory may have been a little off
At the same time, though, one of my close colleagues has just announced her pregnancy at work, and everybody has been cracking jokes that I should be next, what am I waiting for etc. I think that may also have something to do with my depression. I've also been peeing on OPK sticks, and all were negative so far... I'm really trying to hope for the best.

I started my first round of 50mg clomid on the 21 and I have been on it for 3 days just got 2 more days left. The only side effects I have had from this type of meds is a small headache with hot flashes but not bad just enough to let me know they are there. Now on my mood it has been alot better. I'm not as grumpy as use to be. I take mine early of the morning since most the time I sleep during the day but if not sleeping I can feel the side effects but so far knock on wood not bad at all. I'm hope we get a very soon. Go for my ultrasound next week to see how the meds are doing an if my follices are big enough will have a hcg trigger. Then later do my first IUI.

Good Luck to everyone that is trying to get pregnant.

Tons of baby dust to you..

Wow, littleblue, I would be interested to hear what type of side effects men would have from clomid. I have definitely come across info about men on clomid in the internet but never looked too closely.

Have you tried looking through or posting to the Male Infertility board - - http://forums.fertilitycommunity.com/male-infertility/.I am sure there is someone over there that has had experience with their DH on clomid.

Best wishes! I hope the new approach helps with his counts!!
