Question Clomid Side Effects ?????
Ok, I know the normal side effects (hot flashes, mood swings, crazy hunger).... has anyone had an extremely sensitive sense of smell?????

When I first started clomid, I could smell everything within a 10 mile radius, but now, not so much!

4-7-08: HSG, all clear
5-3-08: clomid (50mg, cd 5-9), cipro (cd 5-11), premarin (cd 10-16)
6-1-08: clomid (100mg, cd 5-9), and premarin (cd 10-16)
7-1-08: RE consult
7-1-08: clomid (100mg, cd 5-9)
7-10-08: ultrasound and then set date for IUI #1
7-12-08: IUI #1

Oh yeah! To make matters worse, I am a nurse and work has all kinds of funky smells! Ehh! haha

May 8th- D&C (all is well!)
May 19th- C1 50mg clomid and Parlodel
May 29th- C2 100mg clomid
June 7th- C3 150mg Clomid
No ovulation with clomid
June 16th- started follistim 75 total of 10 injections
July 12th-
July 14th- C2 of follistim
July 29th- next u/s...should be ready for hcg!

I did Clomid and had the normal side effects it seems everyone does. Mainly, the mood swings. Mine seemed to happen a few weeks after finishing up the cycle. Tell your DH to be prepared!

4/7: Progesterone > 20 Good sign!!!

Natural from April to July
Aug 15th: Natural Conception!!!!
Aug 15th: Beta 69
Aug 18th: Beta 169
Aug 20th: Beta 199
Aug 22nd: Beta 211 - Beta has plateaued, impending M/C

Good luck with ovulation this time around. I didn't ovulate on my first cycle either. I just finished my 2nd round of clomid, but he started me on the 100mg. So, we will see. I have my US on saturday. I hope you get awesome news!!Kate

Today was my 2nd day of Clomid.. first time ever taking it. I haven't noticed any issues with smell... yet! But, I have bloating.. ugh, totally took me by surprise. I was lying in bed and all of a sudden felt this tightness in my abdomen and (totally sounds strange) but a constant quiver.. kind of like when you have a gas bubble? lol

I could totally pass for a few months pregnant right now.. which is not a nice thing when all you want is to feel that real bump.

Other than the bloating, I had some spotting just now when I went to the restroom.. I don't know what that is all about or if it's normal. And, I've had some irritability but nothing too bad. A few hot flashes and overall strange feeling. But, mostly the yucky bloating so far.

I'm only on it for 3 more days and then go in for an ultrasound to see if it's doing it's job. fingers crossed that a week of wearing moo moo's will give me some results!
