Angry Were not gonna take it.

I am so sick of Doctors(manely obgyn) who don't give a HOOT! About women even young women and IF.I mean there should be a revolt or something.Well I wish I had magic powers to rid the world of IF.And everyone can have babies (naturaly). And still adopt children who need families. My husband and I have been trying for 10 months and still nothing.Wilst everyone around me,my BF,women that live in the same town as me and even my mothers cat !have gotten pregnant and had babies. You know I may be young but I still don't think it's fair.

I hear ya. We're 23, started trying when we were 21. Doctors just don't take us very seriously. Perhaps your doctors are waiting the whole first year TTC thing. They usually won't take you serious until you've tried for a year for some stupid reason! I wish you much luck and remember to be persistant and don't take no for an answer!!

Nova,
Sing it sister! I'm 24 and we've been trying for four years. In that time all my girlfriends from high school have had their first and my best friend is currently on her second. Babies seem to happen in threes around me so when I find out of the first I'm always praying I'm the second or third but unfortunately it hasn't happened yet. The currect three even include my 17 year old brother-in-law and his girlfriend and they've only bee dating for 9 months!
Sometimes it seems so unfair that strong, healthy and loving families can't bring a child into the world but the worthless (in my opinion) families who beat, rape and molest, not to mention the ones who kill their children are allowed to have them. Sorry, that vent hasn't come out in a long time!

I just had to jump on here and say an 'amen' to Jen's last statement.

I've spent the last two months wondering why I wasn't good enough when I've seen so many women smoke/drink during pregnancy and their babies are born alive and relatively healthy. But it really has nothing to do with whether I'm good enough or not.

Unfortunately the world ISN'T fair. But that doesn't make any of us feel any better, does it?

PS: Jen: Good luck at your appointment today!

Girls I know exactly how you feel. DH and I are both 23 (24 in Sept. and Oct) and my obgyn said to me...Oh dont worry, being pregnant is the really hard part."
I was like okay...that was five years ago when we started @ 18 yrs old...going on 6 years now. And we have been at the RE for about two years now and he or the staff have never ONCE brought up our ages except in good examples like egg quailty.

I know how frustrating it is!
