Arrow Of course...!

I've been trying to conceive for a REALLY long time. At the end of last year I started fertility treatments. I've had five failed Clomid rounds. Starting injectables in a week, as soon as comes.

Well, one of my closest and dearest friends did one round of fertility and is now pregnant with TRIPLETS. To add salt to my selfish wound, I'm throwing her baby shower.

It's so hard to have that mix of emotions where you are happy for your friend but sad for yourself. It's challenging to avoid the "Why Me" syndrome.

Today was especially rough... so I think I'm handling it worse than usual...

My heart goes out to you !!! It's so tough to deal with other people's pregnancy when you have been trying so hard for your own. That's really big of you to suck it up enough to do that for your friend. I hope she know's what a feat it really is for you !! Your turn will be here soon

I had the same thing happen with my closest friend of 26 years! She has had two natural cycle iui's and had two successful pregnancies. You can see from my signature that it took me longer (and lots of DRUGS). I had to remind myself that we are totally different people with different circumstances. It's hard, but your time will come and then you all can chat about your babies and not the struggle to get pregnant.

Chin up momma. Your time is coming!

I completely understand! One of my best friends is due in September, myself and our other best friend are planning her shower for late July. It’s hard not to be envious, I love her and want the best for her but…… She is married to a complete looser, who decided to quit his job 2 years ago to go out west and be a cowboy. He lasted a day and a half, he “had” to quit they wanted him to get up early and work all day and those feed bags are heavy Waaa Waaa. He has not worked since and he doesn’t want children as they are too much work and he has made it clear that it will not interfere with his life, stupid pratt! Unfortunately she has the traits of Mary Poppins and thinks he can be fixed and everything will change. I only fear that if he goes back to the workforce and she is no longer his support he will leave her. I just try to remember that what is happening to me is not her fault and she is very supportive of me so I need to return the favor(and try really hard not to beat her husband senseless every time I see him )
