Oh do I hate this day! It's a double whammy most years, and occassionally a triple one! Having lost my mom at 14, it has always been more of a sad day. Then to boot you add nearly 20 years of infertility and the feelings of despair that you will never have the opportunity to live the joy of motherhood yourself. On top of all those nasty little feelings, my birthday is the 9th and many times coincides with this dreadful day! I getted so bummed when my friends and family are too busy with Mother's day plans to come out and play on my birthday! I know I sound like a spoiled brat, but my best birthdays are those when I'm surrounded by friends and family. What's a girl to do?

I completely relate to ya!

I understand completely how you feel. My mother died in 2001 and dealing with mother's day has been hard since then. But, now that I've been trying to get pregant, it's even worse.

The most horrible part is this year mothers day should be the end of my 2ww. So, it could be a double whammy for me if I get period.

Though, I'm trying to remain positive, I've had so many , it is hard to think that it is even going to happen.
