As you can see from my profile, I have been told I my eggs are too old. i went to a second RE today, she agreed but again gave me all of my options. DE cycle was the one with the highest percentage of working. 65-75%
I know those are great numbers.... but how did you all decide to pay so much for a cycle? We have a blended family already all 10 and up.. but we would like one of our own... we are still paying off one of our ivf cycles and it is really hard to swallow paying a lot more.... I know it is just money.. but when most of the time you are debt free... it is hard to get a loan for so much...

Using donor eggs is very expensive but we really want to have a child. Neither of us has ever had any kids. I do not mind that the baby would not be genetically mine, but at least it would have a genetic link to my husband. If I am lucky enough to have a child, I don't think I would care how much it cost. I know its hard to think of spending all that money but the end result would be a beautiful baby. Hopefully you can find a way to finance a cycle if this is the route you choose to take.
