3dpt with donor eggs, no symptoms!

Hi all, I am a long time returning member with two failed IVF's with my own eggs. We finally made the decision to use a donor and I had a 5dt on Sunday (6/7/09) but I feel no symptoms at all. I am so scared. THought there may be some of you out there that may be going through the same thing and might want to share what and how you are feeling. Should I be feeling some kind of symptoms. We transfered 2 perfect text book grade blasts that were hatching on day 5. Thanks for sharing and good luck to all of you on your journey.

Raji - I didn't have any new symptoms in the week after my ET. The estrogen and PIO caused constipation but that started before the ET. It did get worse a week or so after the transfer. I didn't really have any addition symptoms throughout the rest of first trimester. I don't think that I was odd as there have been many women on the DE IVF board who have had the same thing.

Best of luck and !

Raji - I am right behind you. I just had a 3dt on 6/8. I have had constant cramps since the transfer and I also have severe back pain. The pain is keeping me up at night. I dont know if that is good or bad but different woman have different symptoms. Good luck to you!

I did a DE cycle as well and I didnt have many symptoms at all...actually even after I got my BFP I was still in disbelief as I felt way too normal....the only symptoms I had was a wee tiny tiny bit of spotting on 3dp5dt (but I mean tiny if I wasnt crazy and really looking I would have missed it...lasted all of that one bathroom trip) I also had cramping off and during the 2ww. Good Luck!

thank you all so much for sharing your experience with. It's so hard to play the waiting game and not go nuts. I keep looking for symptoms and can't find any.

Have any of you POAS or plan to? When would be a good day? I guess it's way too early since i only had the ET on Sunday but I have seen a few girls get positive 3dpt?

sending positive vibes to all of you. May our dream of becoming mommies come true very soon.

I didn't POAS until the night before my beta and my beta was late because I was out of town. I didn't want to do it too early as it would have upset me, but I wanted to do it before the beta because I had to teach the next day. I didn't want to find out at work and have no one to rejoice or cry with. When I told my DH, he simply told me that he already knew. I had a fair number of cramps during our trip. I had attributed them to the flight and sitting in a conference for 12 hours/day and eating different food.

I know it is easy for me to say but try to relax. Try to keep yourself busy. You'll get your BFP soon enough!

Raji,

I also had a 5 day transfer. I started POAS 7dpt and got a faint second line!

For the record like you 3dpt, I had absolutely NO symptoms! Even right after the transfer NOTHING not even a cramp! I was convinced it didn't work so please hang in there!!!

It is so wonderful to have you ladies to come to. Going throught this can get quite lonely sometimes. I feel so much better after reading the posts.

I did have something different happen last night. I went to the bathroom about midnight and when I came back to bed my pelvic area was just kind of cramping/uncomfortable for a while. Tnen later I woke up and i was sweating like a pig. I hope this is a positive sign.

My first BETA is tomorrow am and the second will be on MOnday at 10. My clinic does not give the results until Monday. I may go stir crazy by then and give in to POAS.

. Dear Lord, watch over our little beanies and bring them home safely to us.
