Hi Ladies,

I'm still on vacation but wanted to check in with you....

So here's my story: My beta was on Wednesday and I cried a few nights before that because I had no symptons. Went for my beta which I thought was just a complete waste of time, but protocol you know....

Later that day DH thought I got the call, and asked if I was pregnant. I didn't get the call yet, but totally went off on DH. "How could you ask such a stupid question? You know I'm not because I don't have any symptons, MY BOOBS ARE NOT SORRRREEEE!!!!!!!!" Okay, not my finest moment.

Anyway, got a call the next morning:
Nurse: Congrats you are pregnant!
Me: Are you sure? Are you calling the right person?
Nurse: Yes, Congrats!

(that's me in shock)

Beta 160

Went for my second beta yesterday: 432

I'm not celebrating yet, I keep on telling DH we are not talking about it or even thinking about it until the ultra sound.

I don't want to get my hopes up

However, I did want to let you girls know what's going on!

Have a wonderful weekend ladies!!!!

Athena .....

Congrats girlie! WHEN are you going to listen to your wise sisters here? Remember several of us said we had ZERO symptoms (even throughout our pregnancy)? There are a lot of us who have no m/s, no sore boobs, etc. and if we weren't getting the Jiffy Pop situation, wouldn't even know we were pregnant!

Now - breathe and relax!!! How exciting!!!!

xoxoxo

athena-congrats!!!!! My boobs did not get sore until after my positive betas.

Fox-No scheduled C-section, we are planning on waiting for things to start on their own. As for nursery, we haven't put it together yet, we are waiting until next month. coming down to the wire....all baby clothes will be washed, etc this week. I was just telling DH that I wanted to go ahead and get my bag packed just so it would be one less thing to do later on.

Hope....

Now I remember what you originally told me about it being considered bad luck to create the baby's room ahead of time... So sorry, girlie... Pregnancy brain, but that's no excuse!

I think I am going to pack the bag too after that dream I had. What are you putting in there? I know, that sounds like such a stupid question!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! Your story is so sweet and I am sure DH forgave your outburst. Take it from a very sore BB's, pukey, crampy chick a few days after IVF...and it still is going on and on..I ENVY YOU!!!!!!!!!

Many women have little to no symptoms especially when their beta is still low. As it rises though, things may change...so they say. (Just warning you)

Still, I would trade any day of the week! Dear Gawd I would. LOL

I am happy for you and will send well wishes for a great US!

Lilc- Sending the AF donor dancers your way!

Leena- Hope you have had no more bleeding or contractions. Make sure you are resting ALOT! You are cracking me up with the demerits, although I agree many circumstances warrant them being handed out!

Sanda- How did Infusion go today? Hope easy and painless!

Pack- No answers on why they didn't agree about iron infusions, just told that they thought the 2 different pills would fix things. Hope you have a great weekend!

Happy- YIPPEE... you remembered your lupron.. hehehe! Hooray for vacation time.... will you be going oot, or staying home?

Texas- Thanks for sharing your non-diagnosed lupus story. I guess I should look into seeing if I need a referral to a Hematologist or if I can just make an appt. with one.

Hope and PD- My appt. yesterday was with my Gastroenterologist. It was a f/u appt.

Hope- Awesome news that your girl flipped herself around and has such a good wt! It's hard for me to believe you are 33 wks!!!

PD- Thanks so much for your advice. I am going to continue to take both meds w/ iron for a few weeks and see how I feel, yes, I am tired alot, and do get that wooey feeling! I will try to find out if I can go to a hematologist w/no referral from my internist. ENJOY your trip to the lake....lt sounds so relaxing!

JDW- Thanks for the update on you and donor! It helps me soooo much to have dates to list on our "group list".

Fox- Love your posts! Don't get yourself tooo worked up about my doctors visit to the Gastroenterologist... don't want any early delivery! I must say I love that you used my fav. at work cuss word.... ASSANINE! Your holiday plans sounds like so much fun... I've always wanted to have a ton of people come and do holiday baking all day, but my kitchen is little, so I haven't! Hope the leak gets fixed ASAP! Congrats on so many potential job offers!

Athena- You were about to give me a heart attack, not hearing how you were.... Thank heavens you got your BFP! Congratulations, girl, you are ! Great betas too!!! KUP, when is u/s???

Malloned- How did the GTT go today? Hoping you aren't feeling too badly w/ DH oot!

Karen- Any updates on how your little embies were growing? Do everything you want to do and eat and drink what your heart desires.... this is your last weekend before you will be PUPO!

Rachel- Hope you are feeling a little bit better today!

Julie- Rain, rain, go away... don't want it to be a rainy weekend for you!

1day, yoga, Terri, Butterfly, Snow, Lovereilly, Shelli, Elizabeth, Igloo, NYC, and anyone I accidently missed- TOY all!

AFM- GOOD NEWS, have had just a teeny bit of spotting the last 2 days.... looks like the dancers have been successful!

OK, I know I am becoming a nag, and it's not to be taken in a 'naggy' way.... PLEASE update me on your appts. I know I get a little over the top on being accurate, but I like it to be RIGHT!!! (It is a good quality to like details, isn't it???hehe) Thank you to those of you who are just as hung up on details too, and update your info. so fast!

Have a great evening... It is a busy weekend, but I'll try my best to check in at least once tomorrow!

Happy- Hope the Lupron treats you well. I am curious, though, after looking again at your sig...if you're in meopause, why do you have to do Lupron? Sorry, that's probably nosy, but I really don't mean it that way.

Texas- I actually managed to find a Dr who admits when she doesn't know the answer to something and tries to find out more information. She also follows up to see how everyone is doing after they've been sick, and is always willing to try different treatments if the first doesn't work. Unfortunately, she's the vet, so that doesn't do much for me, but I feel like the rest of my "pack" is in good hands.

Hope- That's great news all around! Baby has flipped, she's a good weight, everything is going wonderfully!

PD- Hope you have a great time at the cabin with your "new" family! That sounds wonderful!

JD- Love, love, love the little history tidbit! And BTW, I'm also old and Southern enough to call anyone I don't know ma'am and sir. Just 'cuz it's polite.

JDW- Best of luck to you!

JodyFox- Thank you so much! Your support (of all us) is always very much appreciated. What you said does sound ludicrous at all. I'm sending you very many "good night's sleep" vibes. (For the record, I'm an excellent sleeper, for what that's worth, so these are primo sleeping vibes I'm sending.)

Athena- I can't certainly imagine your reaction when you got that call. "Me? You're kidding, right? What number did you dial? What's the name again? Are you positive? What was the number?" So happy to hear your news!!!!

Hope- Bagged pack is good! I'm definitely a fan of being prepared- for whatever!

Rachel- My dear, the grass is always greener...

Butterfly- Glad you're feeling relaxed!

Stephanie- (Teeth bared.) I WANT ANSWERS! Ok, I am so not trying to pressure you. I just feel frustrated on your behalf.

Jen- We haven't heard from you in a while, and you've been on my mind the last few days, so I'm sending a shout out.

Pack - I know 2010 will be our year!

HappyAugust - I hope you have a nice vacation! It's so nice to get away from work and enjoy the holidays with family and friends.

TexasGRL - Thanks for the kind thoughts. The intralipid infusion went well. No side effects at all!

hopein09 - You sure are keeping your little one healthy. 4lbs 8oz sounds like a very healthy weight for 33wks+

pdeupree - sounds like a very nice thanksgiving planned for you and your new family.

jdw - Looks like we need to start cheering you on for your cycle, December is just around the corner.

foxJody - I'm sorry about the leak, I hope it gets fixed soon. I'm sure you will get the job you want. You are so bright and intelligent, who wouldn't want you. I am so impressed that you have everything ready for your boys!

athena3 - CONGRATULATIONS on you BFP!!! Most woman would not even know that they are pregnant yet, so don't worry about having no symptoms.

Butterfly - I'm glad you enjoyed your acupunture session. It can be so relaxing, I almost feel asleep a couple times.

Godiva - I'm so glad the bleeding is almost gone. The infusion went well. The nurses were so nice. They got my IV in in 1 poke. They gave me a warm blanket and made me feel very comfortable. The infusion took about 1.5hrs. I brought a book so the time went by fast, but they also had a portable DVD player to watch movies if I wanted.

karen - 21 going strong, yippee! You are definitely having a 5 day transfer!
