Has anyone used a clinic in the Atlanta area?

I am from Atlanta originally and have decided that I will use a clinic in the Atlanta area. All of my siblings still live there so I will not have to worry about a hotel room or transportation. I am wondering if anyone in the Atlanta area could recommend a clinic they used and tell what they liked about their clinic or didn't like about their clinic. Thanks for your help!

Hi there!

I live in Atl and cycled with my OE (own eggs) at ACRM. I can PM you more specifics, but can say that I do not recommend this clinic.

I decided to cycle with DE at a clinic in SC that I really fell in love with and had a wonderful, awesome experience there.

However, I did my monitoring at RBA locally in Atl. And I highly recommend their DE program. They specialize in frozen DE's and there are several girls here who went through them, all of whom have been successful. I feel like they have invested a lot of time and research into their DE IVF program and are definitely the leaders in Atl for this service. Additionally, they are very well organized, great communication, easy to work with, and I felt like they truly cared about me even though I was only monitoring there.

Good luck!

Many ladies here and a couple I know in my area used RBA (Reproductive Biology Associates) in Atlanta. I would highly suggest you making an appt. with them, I have heard only great praises for their doctors and programs they offer! I know a doctor that used them as well, which I think is a great compliment, if they are going there and know they have lots of options for fertility care themselves.

I wish you lots of luck, and please KUP on when you make an appt. with a new Atlanta clinic! I am sure some of the gals that did use RBA will add their opinions when they see your thread!

Here's the website for RBA! As I said, you might want to see what doctors some of the ladies on the DE IVF thread have used there or if they have particular favorites!

I did the frozen eggs at RBA, and would highly recommend them. Their doctors were all nice and very competent, the nurses were easy to deal with, and all other members of the staff were terrific. I had a much better experience overall with them than I did at my first clinic (see my signature) in Atlanta....RBA just seemed more concerned with my well-being and more professional than clinic #1.
Best of luck to you!!

I go to Emory and couldn't be happier! It is the only place my insurance would allow but I sure got lucky! They have been so helpful and knowledgable! They welcome questions and everyone from the doctors to the receptionists are so nice and funny!

They explain everything very well and I'm never left with unanswered questions and I always feel like I have options which is important.

Hi wecandoit --

I actually used ACRM in Atlanta, and LOVED them. They were helpful, informative, and I always felt they cared a lot about what was happening with us. I loved all the doctors except one, (and I only ever saw him twice, for u/s each time).

Our donor coordinator still contacts us almost like a friend... asks how I'm doing, how the baby is growing.

But you have to like a place and you have to like the people there and feel comfortable with them. This is big stuff you're putting on the line.

Good luck!

We go to Georgia Reproductive Services and we have had success BOTH times that we have gone. 1st IVF and 1st FET. www.ivf.com.

We started with Emory but we did not care for the dr there. Im sure there are others that are better. My dr. is very nice and the staff always calls you back immediately! My nurse has been a complete cheerleader and I feel VERY supported. Send me a PM if you need anything else.

You can read my signature. Good Luck to you!!
