We bought sperm 5 times. Four IUI's and 1 IVF.
We bought all of our sperm from Xytex. We enjoyed our service from them. We paid $550CND per vial for identity release and a $75 s&h fee. All together we bought 9 vials. 2 for each IUI and 1 or the IVF. Of all the vials we got between 11-21 million sperm post wash. Our RE was always impressed. There was one vial that we got that was only about 6 million post wash. But it came in just above what they refund for, so we didn't get a refund. We liked Xytex. We liked the website, we liked the options (especially when it came to the amount of identity release donors and Canadian compliant donors as Canada has stricter rules on donation), we liked the amount of information we received about each donor, we liked the search engine, we liked the customer service.

I used Fairfax for my donor sperm and I never got bad moltile numbers. There are some people I have met who hated Fairfax but I have nothing but good things to say about them. I did get pregnant once with this donor but it was a chemical pregnancy. I have met one online person who used my donor and has a little girl!
I briefly looked into California Cryobank but they were extremely expensive to me for what they offered. They also wouldn't tell me the motile numbers until after I bought the sperm. I didn't really feel comfortable with that. The Sperm Bank of California was also on top of my list but their selection of African American donors were slim so I choose a different clinic (although later on I chose a donor with a different ethnicity...).
