ohmigosh ladies - I am SOO sorry to keep you in suspense. Your prayers and well wishes are so sweet.
EVERYTHING'S FINE. It turns out it was just a 'superficial blood vessel' that was more noticeable as my bb was swelling throughout the pregnancy... PHEW. I'm soooo relieved. I can tell you I had some very dark thoughts that were pretty scary. Thank goodness it was nothing and I'm even more thankful than before for all the blessings in my life. Thank you again for all your kind words of support!

Kristen - You had us worried! I'm so happy everything is ok.
![]() I also wanted to ask you a question. Who was it that told you from that ultrasound it was a boy? A tech or DR. Did you see the boy parts? I'm asking because at my NT the Dr said she is 90% sure it is a boy. I saw boy parts but from what I have read, females look the same at this stage. It is all about "The angle of the dangle". That will tell what gender it is. Your probably thinking I'm crazy about now but check out this website. It is amazing, something I never knew about! Embryo Development external genital sex organs - angle of the dangle boy or girl ultrasound gender scan - Baby2see.com

Kristen - that is great news, I am so glad everything is fine!
Thanks ladies for all of the advice on how to keep the Lupron chilled. My DH would probably faint if he had to give me the injection. I did all my own shots during our first IVF and will do these as well. We both had a fear of needles, but I think his was worse. He would have done it, but I was more nervous about him coming at me with a needle than just doing it myself. I have a little bit of a control issue!! I have never done PIO shots and am glad becuase I hear those are much hard to do yourself.

Kristen- Whew! Thanks for checking in. I am so happy for you that it turned out to be nothing.
Laurie (wannafamily)- I think it is so funny that your DH can't give you the needles. We are the opposite. I can't give my own so my DH has to do it all. I don't know what I would do without him.

Donor Update (we got an email tonight from the coordinator).
Our donor saw our RE today and while her ovaries are still big, the RE expects she will be able to start Lupron in a few weeks. I didn't even know she was seeing the RE today. We don't know anything yet such as schedule or anything. Does anyone know how long the lupron lasts? Just curious (and anxious). I know we will find out soon though.

Kristen--So happy to hear the good news!
Apparently our embryos are doing very, very well because the Embryologist has decided that we will be doing a 5 Day Transfer on Saturday. At first I didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing, but after doing a little googling I take it that it is a good thing. We were hoping to get out of here a day or two early if we had done the ET today, but of course we will do anything to keep our babies safe. Take care, Birgit
