jak- That is so exciting!
 I hope the coordinator was nicer to you this time. It's almost April, and May is right around the corner. You'll be going through all the fun soon enough! Twilight- I'm sure your DH will do a great job with the PIO. I've never done PIO, but it sounds like there are some helpful tips here. I know with the Hcg shot, my nurse drew a bulls-eye on my lower back, and that seemed to work for my DH. It will be fine! faith- Glad to hear that your PIO shot wasn't so bad! Are you excited for the ER tomorrow? I'm sure everything will go smoothly.  I feel like there's so much going on. Everyone is at a different part of the cycle, which tends to keep the excitement going here! Oh yeah-I just talked to the lab and found out that 1 more blast was able to be frozen, so now we have 8 all together. This has never ever ever happened before.

Hey guys!! I just got home! My beta was 309!!!
 I am so excited!! Now the worrying begins for next Monday!! Thanks so much for all the wishes! There is NO WAY I could have made it the past two weeks without all of you guys as cheerleaders!Godiva- I am so glad the shot went good- I just got your PM- but I did not have to do Lupron b/c I have no cycle. Jak-YAY on picking yoir donor you are on your way!! Wishing- I am glad you are enjoying bedrest. I think I still have myself on semi-bed rest. I go to work of course now- put then come home and put my feet up for the rest of the night! LGB- I'e been praying for you! Hope everything is going good. Hope-This will be the last time you see AF for a while- I have a good feeling! As for everyone I missed-I am praying for the whole board and again thanks to everyone for my positive wishes- You guys are awesome!!!!

Meg - Awesome beta. That is a very solid number. I think Sandy (Fried Eggs) had a first beta in the 300s and now she's expecting twins!

Hello all! Well it's been awhile since i've posted but i've been keeping up with all of you and am so happy to see all the good news on this thread! Congratulations!
We have finally chosen a donor (Feb.) and it looks like things may finally be starting to move along. I have some testing to finish up on 4/3 and if all is well I will start my Lupron that day. My protocol is that I will be on it until my donor's cycle is synced with mine.....probably close to a month! I am a little nervous about that, seeing as I have heard of some not so great side effects from Lupron. I will not be taking BCP's. Looks like ER/ET will be (tentatively) mid-May. Still a little bit of waiting to do but I am very excited and feeling positive about eveything. Just a question for you ladies- in our consent form package it was posed to us that we could have ICSI if we elected to, even though my husband hasn't had any problems and has great swimmers. (ICSI has never been recommended to us) They said some people chose to use it as "insurance" in case the sperm don't penetrate the donor's eggs. Have any of you chosen this even if hubby's guys were ok? Have they ever done "emergency ICSI" if that did happen?It'd definitely be more $ but we've spent so much so far, I just want the best outcome. What do you think? To ICSI or not to ICSI?

Jen403: My DH has always had off the chart counts and all other stats were great but we did ICSI just in case..at my clinic it wasn't an extra cost but included.

Jen403 - My DH does not have any "sperm issues" but we have still used ICSI. I produced 12 eggs and 6 of them we did ICSI and the other 6 we let fertilize on there own. Do to the expense involved with this entire process, I wouldnt hesitate to use ICSI.

Hello everyone well I saw my ob yesterday and I only have3 MORE WEEKS OMG!!!!! I can't believe I'm going to meet these babies. No bedrest no problems other than the early morning sickness and hom. I think they expected a 41 year old to have high blood pressure and a whole host of other problems. Well NOT. I am thankful things are going well. I am measuring 38 weeks and am almost 34 weeks with twins. I feel like a hippo and just want to sleep on my stomach but all is well.
 We scheduled the c-section for APRIL 16TH!!! and I'm nervous the surgery is no fun but its better than a vaginal which is risky. Afterall we have to get them out of there somehow Hee, Hee.As far as progesterone someone asked me what I took. We did progesterone in ethyl oleate it was the best. NO pain, itching or welts. You can even use a smaller needle got it all from Schrafts pharmacy just ask your re. Its in a thin solution and not oil which is thick and hard to inject. ouch!! I had a bad reaction with the pio welts and numbness. He wanted to switch me to the vaginal suppositories yucky! I prefer these shots no pantyshield nice and clean (tmi) Meg- great beta congrats on the next big milestone. jak40-glad you are feeling better about your decision. I tell you once you get the dates it all falls into place. Does she have blonde/blue like you? Knowing these little details helped me a lot. Ladies having et and er and many of you are wishing you much success.ICSI ladies please do icsi there was a women on this board who didn't and she had a bad yield of eggs, don't roll those dice you only want to go through this once. Her beta was negative they even tried rescue icsi and it did'nt help we were all so disappointed for her.

MEGHAN- HOORAY for the beta of 309! I am so happy for you! Don't forget to post your data on the "post your data thread"!BALLARINAGIRL-It won't be long now.... I am excited that the twins will be here soon! JEN403- Welcome back! You'll be on your way hopefully by the end of next week. I say go for the ICSI... at this point, it would be better to spend a little more and get the positive result... just my opinion. JAK- I am glad the donor is a go ahead! Just think in about a month things will really be getting underway! TWILIGHT-I just posted a seperate thread with PIO shot tips for you and anyone else that may be interested!
