Thanks for the sig kudos. It was fun to make!
Lia- I know I have to wait until August because our donor is in a cycle now and we are next on her list. Maybe Tia is in the same boat. My RE had put me on bcp before we knew the wait would be long. I just stopped taking them with my last period. I will go back on again when it is closer. Janet- I have 3 hpts I didn't use- should I send them to you? LOL If so, then send them back when you are done so I can see a ! ![]() Bethany- Thanks for posting the link to the tax info. That will come in handy and I never knew that. Hugs and Hi to everyone else! Hope you are having a nice Monday. We have 96 degree temps here today. UGH! I want to go for a walk, but I don't want to melt. May have to wait until dark.

Hi Lia - I go for my first ultrasound on May 7th. It is nerve racking not knowing if my beta is going up. Lately I've been feeling light headed too. According to the internet, it is a sign of pregnancy. I'm just paranoid something is going to go wrong! How are things going with you?

welcome Donna and stay strong. I have not been here foe very long but I trully feel the warmth and support from everyone here.
Janet-Congratulations to you that is just wonderful. For me they transfered two embryos @ day5. The doctor said because the quality was good and they like to minimize the possibility of having triplets etc. I was so tempted to buy HPT but so far I haven't. (I am counting hrs now) I am due for my pregnancy test tomorrow at 8:30 am. I am not sure if this is typical to have hcg levels this early (I am only 9days past my transfer) Hope I will get some news, one way or the other by the aftenoon. I am staying strong and keeping up the faith. I will keep you posted. Please say a prayer for me. Love you all ![]() |

Summer, hmmmm.... Some of these ladies will be rolling in babies and bellie... some of them will just be feeling the first fluttery kicks...and some of us will just be going in there to make it happen.
It's a regular Sisterhood. Now we just need a clubhouse in a tree, a secret password, a sign with a couple of the letters spelled backward and a little spotted terrier named "Mike" to haul up and down in a basket whenever we hold our meetings.

Marisa -- you're definitely pregnant, no problems. Light-headed is normal. If you can just manage to throw up once or twice, you'll know for sure the baby's a keeper.
(I make it sound so fun, don't I?)I'm good, just ticking down the next two or three weeks until I hear about OUR donor. That's the estimated time frame for getting a selection of between 4 and 5 of them to choose from. Wahoooo! I almost start giggling every time I think about it. penbird -- PRAYERS for you tomorrow, for great numbers, for wonderful things to happen for you. ![]()

So we did an early US today to make sure everyone was where he/she was supposed to be (that nobody decided to go tubal) and there were two! BUT -- while baby "B" is kicking butt, measuring in at 5 wks, 5 days... baby "A" is measuring a little small at 5 wks, 2 days (today we're technically 5 wks 4 days). Doc doesn't have high hopes about baby "A" -- of course, she didn't have the highest hopes about our donor either and she proved 'em wrong big time. So we're pulling for baby "A" to get a growth spurt soon.
It's weird, too. We said we'd be excited either way -- 1 or 2. One -- because I just started a new job (how's that for timing) and it would be easier to handle, explain, work, etc. Two -- because, WOW TWO, after everything we've been through. But now we're all mixed up -- happy that we have a strong one in there, sad that we may lose someone. It's as if it would have been easier to just see one... except that I'm hoping our little guy pulls through. There was a big difference in size even we could see. For you pregnant mamas -- did any of your underachievers make it after early doubts? In other news, my progesterone is up to way past normal. Congrats to the new BFP (here's to HPTs)... And welcome Donna -- hang in there. We all want good things to happen for you. PLEASE... pray for A! B, too, but a little extra for A.

Tia, love your sig too. As far as how many embryos to transfer we were originally going to transfer 2 but there were only 3 left that made it to blast. One was fragmented and my doctor did not think that it would survive the freeze and thaw, so at the last minute we decided to transfer 3!!! It is a miracle they all took ~ even with ED ivf!
Definitely keep copies of all your medical expenses and deduct them on your taxes. We did and got a nice refund There was a thread here that listed things that you can deduct. You can deduct acupuncture and vitamins as well as any medical expenses that are not covered by insurance. Tina, good luck tomorrow! Dawner, congratulations on the twins. Grow babies grow! I think it is too early for your doctor to not have high hopes for baby A. It is probably just a late implanter!! I don't think 3 days is a big difference. My RE warned me that we may lose 1 or 2 early becasuse of a 'vanishing twin syndrome'. I worried constantly for them. One of the babies was smaller than the other but it made up for it and soon they became close to the same size. Now I have one bigger than the other two. My prayers and thoughts go out to you and all your babies!! I am not sure if any of you girls check out the belly pic thread? Today I got brave and posted my big belly. If you can stomach a peek here it is...belly pics Has anyone else taken belly pictures?
