Jak – So happy to hear ER is finally here. Seems like it has been a long time coming but now all will be smooth sailing.

Mallon – After everything most of us have been through I imigaine feeling not confident is normal. We have gotten used to not getting our hopes up. Lots of to you that your uncertainty is all for nothing.

LGB – Wow, you are just around the corner.

Happy Friday All

Hi girls how is everyone,

Malloned - Congrats on the transfer. I think its going to work so you should not worry about it doesn't give you nothing plus the little on needs all your positive energy. Its better to have one baby at any conception so I know its going to work your emby was so great.

Faith - I did buy Nasal spray but still didn't use it I am trying to avoid it. You will love your dopplet when you get it. Way to go. When will you know if its a boy or girl?

Guysperspective - 2 wonderful boys that is fantastic. Congrats.

Kate - Its nice to know that your dogs are doing so good with the girls specially the female one

Butterfly - I am glad you are feeling better boy. Good thing.

JAK - I am glad your donor finally had her ER... do you know how many you got?

Bellerinagirl - Its so nice that you names your babies already you must feel so much closer to them and it must be fun to see the difference in both of them. Way to go. So happy for you.

AFM - Well I am still on Tylenol in the morning too bad but it works...

House - we got the offer going yesterday and then the people's agent told us there was going to be another offer (same day) so we didn't submit ours. As if there was another buyer the same day when they tried to sell this house for 3 years!! We think its a scam to try and get more money so if ever they don't get their other offer I am going to go really low!!

I hope everyone is ok today and wishing you a good weekend.

Lia - let us know about your beta tomorrow.

Helene

Talking

Hi everyone.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I called the RE office today as I wanted to know how many eggs we ended up with. So DC called me back and she was soooo nice (for a change). Anyway, we only have 7 eggs. I was really hoping for better numbers but I am not stressing over it. It is what it is and I cant change it. The lab will call tomorrow and let us know how many fertilized, they will also tell us at that time if we will do a 3 or 5 day transfer. I was a bit surprised about that as I would have thought they would wait until Sunday to see how they are doing before determining which day.

Again, thank you sooo much for all your thoughts.

I will check in later and catch up on personals.

Donor Agencies??

Hi all! I havent posted in a long time though I have been lurking every day. We finally decided to cycle out of the UK at SIRM, NY. I have immune issues and so we have to do immune treatment as well. So we had our first consultation this week with SIRM and we are looking at cycling in August. We will have to go back to the UK and then come back for that.
SIRM uses an agency for their donor selction. Did you all do this? I thought we could get donors from the clinic. The agency thing is so expensive. Is this how it is done in the US?
Secondly can any one give me an estimate on how much a donor cycle costs. This incudes the donor fees, medication, screening, the entire thing. We have not been given any costs yet and really would appreciate if I could hear your experiences.
Thank you so much and am so about all the good news on this board!

jak40-lucky #7! Try not to stress, I know it's hard. We did a frozen cycle and had 4 eggs thawed and all 4 fertilized and made it to blast stage. We transferred two and still had two excellent quality blasts to freeze, so you're 3 ahead of where I was! As far as 3d vs 5d, my clinic actually sets all the recipients up for 3d transfer and then calls them on that day to say yes to 3d or to change to 5d. They said it's easier to just cancel the 3d when they call and then schedule the 5d.

Ebikere-good luck with the new clinic. I did a frozen donor egg through my RE's office, so I don't have much info to give on agencies, etc, but there are a lot of girls on here who will probably be able to help you out.

Helene- Is your nasal spray the saline stuff? I used that stuff every night. It is completely safe. And don't worry about the tylenol. I took a lot of it with my gall stones. Heck, I even was on morphine and that was okay too.

Jak- The magnificent 7!! I will be sending lots of fertilization vibes.

Penny- I am not bf. I do pump, but my supply is so low, I can't feed one baby nevermind two. The girls get a little bit of breastmilk everyday (an ounce or two).

Smile Then there were 2!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Well, I had my first u/s yesterday afternoon and found out that the 2 we transferred both implanted!!

I was in SHOCK to be honest but I am getting better by the hour about it. It's a lot to take in and I really didn't have any hunches as all about this. I know - It'll be a lot of work but it's going to be great. I just want them to be healthy and of a good weight.

Have a pic but the file is too big i guess..

Still sinking in really.....

Helene – Really hope you turn the feeling better corner soon.

Lia – I will be stalking tomorrow to hear the beta. I would prefer a herald shouting forth the joyous news but I will take a post.

Jak – I think seven sounds good. As we keep hearing it only takes one. KUP

Kris – Wow!! Congrats!! Double the joy, double the fun!!

Ebikere – My clinic did have a pool of donors but from what I have seen on this board they are all different. We were told our cost would be between $20 - $25K by the time all is said and done. There are some variables because of meds and if ICSI was needed. Best to you and DH as you begin this journey.

AFM - The good news is the pre-lupon u/s was fine. The bad news - now there is a problem with the medication. Apparently there is a hold up from my insurance company needing to pre-approve the medication. I am trying to find out what all of this means and if I can get my meds in time to start shots at least by Monday. I am so tired of all the problems but I know I am preaching to the choir.

Kris - Congratulations TWINS!!!! I am not really surprised with a #1 Beta of 800! I am jealous, I really want twins. How is DH taking it?

Malloned - When will you POAS?

jdtx65 - If it makes you feel better, I live in an area that insurance companies do not cover ANY IVF. We have had to pay out of pocket for all of our attempts. Hope it works out for you before Monday I know how frustrating the red tape can get.

Kate - Will you be going back to work or are you taking time off with the girls?

Just curious but for those of you who are PG. How many are going back to work?

Just curious... would it not be practical at this point to simply pick up the meds and then get reimbursed from your insurance company once they iron out the wrinkles? Just a thought.
