Hi Everyone!! Hope you all had a great weekend.
So happy to see all the good news on this thread I can't seem to find the time to post to everyone but please know that Im thinking of all of you!

Lia: congrats!!! I'm so happy for you and I'll be big time for you that this is a very easy smooth uncomplicated pregnancy for you!

Malloned: hang in there having not many symtpoms means nothing at all....as far as POAS: my first faint positive was 7dp5dt and it was clear the following day...dont worry about lack of symptoms...I felt nothing really to speak of just some heaviness and tiredness that could have been the meds too I didnt really have any morning sickness to speak of at all...a couple times where smells bothered me even now I dont really feel like I'm pregnant and I'll be 20 weeks tomorrow so dont worry feeling normal can mean you are pregnant as well! I've got everything crossed for you keep us posted!

JAK40-TODAY is the day we did a day 4 transfer and they all implanted. Our clinic will transfer 3 day 3 embies and 2 blast. Mine was a day 4 b/c of a blizzard the weather was bad! I did take it easy for 2 or 3 days just hung out on the couch and watched old movies.

malloned-7 days past a day 5 transfer is not too early you can get a positive as early as 5 days later esp. with multiples.

Hello all- I have been lurking and wishing you all the best! There has been so much good news and activity on this board lately. Please forgive me if I miss a few personals!

Jak- to you today! My clinic does three day transfers w/ success rate of 50-60% so don't worry. I asked about 5dt and they said that it's best to get the embies in there where they belong rather than in the dish. I'm still a little nervous about that but I trust my RE. I think both can work!

Lia- congrats on ! It is your time!

Godiva- thanks for asking about me....I have been around but not posting as much lately, just in a bit of a funk I guess. I see your levels are coming down. That's great maybe we can cycle together in late July or August?

LGB- wow you will be cycling soon....so good to hear. I hope af comes soon so you can get started.

Helene- hope you are feeling better!

Malloned- can't wait to see your on this board. Hang in there, let us know when you POAS.

Hope- your first trimester is flying by! Can't believe it. Bigger boobs sound not bad.

Faith- house hunting and a new car that's great. How are you feeling? Your first trimester is speeding by also.

Tbonus- I am bummed about your setback. I hope things can get rolling again soon. Doing af dance for you!

AFM- I am in a holding pattern until I ovulate, then I can re-start Lupron and be on my way. I had blood test done this am to see if I have ovulated yet but haven't heard back from DC. My donor is waiting for AF and will then start bcp's. I am hopefully looking at a late July or August transfer. I will get my calendar when I start Lupron. But, that all hinges on the ovulation thing, which is screwed up after having been on Lupron for 6 weeks and then discontinuing it. Basically I've had my period on and off for the whole time since I stopped it mid-may. So, once my body realinzes what it's doing, I can get this thing rolling. I'm trying to be patient!
to all!

Malloned & those with upcoming 2ww.....

What happens to embryos after transfer? Read here for info!
This is what happens in a 3dt :

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT

Jen- Glad to hear from you! KUP on how your b/w went from this morning! Sure hope it shows you are about to ovulate so you can move on!

Browneyes- Thanks for the PM update... good luck with your test and KUP.... hopefully we can all transfer close to one another!

Jak- Hip, Hip, Hooray.... TODAY was YOUR ET day! Sending you lots of sticky vibes! We will be waiting for your update on how many you transfered and when beta will be! You, my dear are PUPO!!!

Lia- When is next beta? I am guessing in the next couple of days! KUP!

Malloned- I POAS on days 7&8 since my beta was on day 8 and I got +++++ both days! Good luck and KUP, but remember, you can still be PG and it not show up on HPT!

Dawnm- How was your appt today?

Soulshine- How was your beta b/w? Hope #'s continue to make a rapid decline!

DG924- Good luck with your u/s tomorrow! Hope all is still well with you and your DH jobs at GM! Thinking of you!

Faith- Thanks for offering to cover the list while I am out of town! So happy NT scan came back great and you are doing well!

AFM- I go for my f/u appt. tomorrow. For some reason I am nervous about it and hope I ask the right questions. I wrote down the ones people suggested. Maybe I will get a tentative date for FET, but pretty sure they will say August.

I'm sure I missed a few people.... as always thinking of you all and wishing all your dreams come true... if they aren't right now.... SOON!

I can't believe how fast the weeks are passing for those of you in your first trimester!

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

I am officially PUPO. When we got to the RE today one of the embies had arrested so now we only have 4. My RE would not transfer more than two although we wanted him to. The quality is just not there. We had 2 7 cell - 1 5 cell and 1 4cell. By day three they should be at least an 8 cell. Anyway we did transfer the 2 7 cell. I highly doubt the other two will make it to a freezing stage. There is nothing I can do now except pray and keep everything crossed. My beta is on 6/20 but I will POAS starting around the 16th.

Keeping , saying lots of and hopping I am

DH is making dinner so I will check in later this evening.

LGB- thanks! You are absolutely right. I’ve waited this long- what is a few more weeks! If I can only split eggs with one other recipient, it will be well worth it. (plus frosties! )

Karens- sticky vibes! You are PUPO! And here’s to a speedy quick 2ww. I really wish we had some way to move that along….

Hopein09- here’s to your U/S appointment coming before you know it! Can’t wait to hear the report.

JAK- I’m glad your transfer went well. 2 is a good solid number!! You are PUPO!! YAY. I’m glad your husband is making you dinner. You need to be pampered, after all- you are PUPO . Also- as for the 3 day transfer- don’t be disappointed. Sometimes they feel that your own ‘natural environment’ is the best regardless. Take it easy the next few days.

Faith1186- thanks for your support. It’s just a little setback- and if only 2 recipients then it will be a blessing in disguise! Are you going to find out the sex of the babies or do you already know?

Kris- sinking in yet with TWINS!! ??

Question- have any of you heard about the two schools of thought about activity post transfers? I have heard a LITTLE tiny bit about some people think that it’s good to get your blood moving after a transfer instead of just bed rest. ? I forget where I read that…just curious if anyone else has heard anything or what the general consensus is.

We made it through Monday! Hope everyone is having a good week so far.
Elizabeth

Jak- Congratulations on being PUPO! I will keep you and your embabies in my thoughts and ! Make sure to get lots of R&R! We will all be looking forward to your HPT results! Best wishes!

Elizabeth- I wish I knew the sex of the babies! I hope to find out at 16 weeks and if worst comes to worst at the anatomy scan at 20 weeks. As for the after transfer activity level, it is generally recommended to get plenty of rest and to stay well hydrated. My RE recommended 24 hours of bedrest and no exercise during the 2ww. I was also told to avoid bending at the waist or reaching for anything. I followed all of the instructions and had a really positive outcome. I would speak to your RE and trust his recommendations. Best wishes!

Jen- I am feeling great, thanks for asking. Still no pregnancy symptoms except for a popping belly. I only have 3 more days to go until my second trimester. Thank goodness!

Does anyone else watch the series Weeds on Showtime? The fourth season premiere is tonight. YAY!!! And in case you were wondering, when you spend most of your time "taking it easy" and resting, it's the little things in life that count...

Jak-Glad to hear the transfer went well. I am sorry the qualities weren't better, but you just never know bc low celled embryos can implant just fine!

Elizabeth-My clinic has you do 48 of bedrest after transfer. I followed their guidelines bc their DE success rate is high!

Soul-Glad to see your beta is so low! Great news!

Godiva-No AF yet...I guess it was a false alarm last Friday bc it was such a tiny amount. I guess it was resuidual or breakthrough bleeding, whatever that means, my nurse always says that! So, my nurse said just to sit tight and wait for it to come. We're enjoying being normal in the meantime!

Jen-I am sorry you're waiting around, with all the meds off and on, I think our bodies must get really confused!

Jak - Sorry the quality wasn't as high as you hoped. My cousin went through an IVF a couple months ago (not DE) had quality issues, put back 2 embryos, had a 3 day transfer like yourself and she is pregnant. She had pretty much written her cycle off and low and behold she is now 12 weeks! Hang in there!!

Elizabeth - The bedrest issue really varies from RE to RE, some tell you to and others don't. My RE seemed to follow the same protocol as Faith's - 24 hr. bedrest after ET, no lifting anything over 25 lbs, and no strenuous workouts for the 2ww.

Godiva - Thanks for reposting the 3 day and 5 day transfer info. It is such a huge help! Hope everything goes well on Fri.

Thanks everyone for trying to keep me positive. This 2ww stuff really stinks and it is so easy to get discouraged! I'm hanging in there and will be taking a HPT in the next couple of days. Hoping for a surprise!

YEAH JAK... finally your turn!

Jak- Thanks so much for the update! 2 is good... and you just never know... they could both thrive inside your little home for them! I will continue to for you!

Elizabeth- I know we used to have a thread discussing what people's RE said to do concerning bedrest. I did 24 hrs. of bedrest, then just took it easy the next 2 days. No heavy lifting, vacuuming etc. during 2ww ( also no intimate activities). If I come across that thread, I will post the link. It is interesting how everyone's RE seems to have diff. instructions, although most have + outcomes.

LGB- Maybe you should start wearing white pants in public to get AF to show..... 2 more days and you'll get to see how low beta is!

Karen- How are you holding up during the 2ww? Try to stay busy!

Karen- I realized I missed you on my last post- that was inadvertent. Sticky vibes! We'll be counting down until the 16th and let us know if you POAS.

Stephanie- You and I must have posted at the same time. You're a champ to keep up with the list! (But, that's one job I'm never going to volunteer for, though I'm so happy Faith did.) Hope you have fun on vacation, though! And that tomorrow's test goes well and that you get the results you want.

Hope- Glad you're enjoying your, um, slightly less small frame. You're so close now. Are you waiting on a bean count? (You transferred two, right?)

Next step for us is the pysch eval next Monday. Right now, I'm feeling pretty good about that, and they'll tell us the same day, so I'll be speeding home to update y'all!

Jak- By now you must be PUPO!!! Very many congrats to you, as well as super sticky vibes! (My RE only does three day transfers, and they have one of the highest success rates in the country, in case that makes you feel better.)

Malloned- Fingers crossed for you! Also, I don't know when is too early to POAS, but if you do, and get the dreaded BFN, just remember your BFP may not show up as quickly as some of our ladies, since you're (almost definitely) not having more than one.

JD- Hey! (With several syllables and a good old southern drawl.)

Soulshine- Congrats on dropping beta numbers!

Faith- Glad to hear you're doing well, and sorry about the other hematoma. Hope it reabsorbs quickly and that taking it easy does the trick. Thank you, also, for the well wishes! (Oh, and I LOVE Weeds! Also, looking forward to the premiere of Nurse Betty.)

Ebi- This really is a fantastic group of women. We're all lucky to be here!

Wanna- Thanks for the info! That's always encouraging to hear.

Melanie- Glad to hear you're feeling so well. Twenty weeks- that's amazing!

Ballerina- It's great to see you around! You must really have everything under control at your place!

Jen- Hope the time goes quickly for you until your cycle starts. I'm sort of curious as to why you have to wait for ovulation, but you don't have to explain.

Elizabeth- Not familiar with the different schools of thought on activity post-transfer, but I do know that my RE says you can resume normal activity immediately following. (And some of the ladies here have been given bedrest instructions.)

LGB- (AF dance for you!)

Have a good evening everyone!
