CJS- Welcome and best to you! You'll gets lots of info and good advice on this board.

Karen- So sorry about your setbacks. Let us know how your consult went. And enjoy your cycle off. It's hard to wait sometimes, but those off cycles can be really relaxing. It's amazing how much stress we store trying to do this.

Jennifer- Great thrid beta! Congrats! And fingers crossed for a great u/s.

JD- Darlin', we'll catch up! The worst of the heat has broken (we're back into double digits) and I'm headed to the waterpark for the day. Hope you're hangin' in there and getting lots of water.

Sanda- How are you?

Rachel- This is definitely a medical procedure, so proceed with clear conscience.

Shelli- Hope your insurance issues are resolved and make sure to get lots of water (to prevent Lupron headaches.)

Geez! It's taking longer to catch up than I thought. I'll check in again. Best to all and many, many congrats again to Lia. (I haven't forgotten the rhino!)

Oh, and I guess it's official. I started BCPs last night.

Good morning everyone!

I apologize for not being as active on the thread as usual the last couple of days. I have been trying to rest and most of all relax. The what-ifs are the scariest part. I am going to my OB on Friday for another cervical length check. I am hoping that the length will stay the same or increase which will definitely be reassuring. I really need to stop doing research on the internet! I am taking over the list this week and I am working on dates/updates that have already been posted. If anyone has any other dates/updates that they want included please let me know.

Kirstyloo- Thank you for your support! I am sorry to hear of the preterm labor scare. It's hard to believe that you are 32 weeks already! I remember your ticker in the low 20's. Congratulations, you are so close!
SRL- Sending lots of , and for a great first beta on Wednesday! Please KUP.

Lia- Congratulations on an amazing first u/s. I am so happy that you have one of those babies that can be seen across the room. You definitely could not have asked for better news. Sending well wishes and prayers for a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Hope- I have not received a pap smear during my pregnancy however I have heard that bleeding is very common. I know how scary any bleeding during pregnancy can be. However, you will be seeing your little one on Thursday which should be completely reassuring. As for the NT scan, mine was done abdominally. I am so excited to hear your update on Thursday. Please KUP.

Browneyes- I am sorry to hear that you need to undergo surgery however it seems as though this will help you to achieve your . It seems as though you were truly blessed with an amazing donor. We are all here to support you through your surgery and beyond. Please KUP with dates!

Tbonus- Your dates are coming up quickly! Please KUP with updates. Best wishes!

Pack- Congratulations on beginning the BCPs, you are one step closer! Best wishes.

Jdtx- There are a lot of different things that can be done to create a thick lining. I am sure it is nothing to worry about however worrying comes with the territory. Best wishes and please KUP!

Karens- Please KUP with the results of your RE consult!

Twilight- I am looking forward to your u/s tomorrow! Best wishes and please KUP!

Jak- I am thinking of you and DH!

I apologize for anyone whom I may have missed. Please know that I am reading all of your posts and keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers.

Pack – I know it sounds odd but congrats on the BCP. I used to laugh that I was taking BCP and pre-natals at the same time. Splish-Splash lady.

Faith – Put down the key board and step away form the research. It will make you crazy (voice of experience here). Take care of yourself and the babies and you know we are for you.

AFM – I was worried for nothing (as usual). My lining was 7.1 and at this point it needed to be 7.0. I will go in on the 30th to check again. More good news – some of you heard me worrying because my sister will be in town around transfer time and I haven’t told my family any of this. She has decided she is taking her kids to the coast for a few day and if the calendar holds true I will be in the clear as to why I need to take it easy for a couple of days. Whew!! All of the well wishes worked. Thanks to all.

Lia: congrats!!!! I'm so excited for you!! Enjoy every moment of all of this!!!! You have gone through so much the pregnancy continues to go nice and smooth for you!

I have to make this quick as I just got to work my appt this morning was almost 2 hrs long! Everything is ok with the baby and she passed the fetal echocardiogram with flying colors! This little girl has quite the sense of humor already and everytime they had a great picture of the heart and valves she would do a flip and move right off the screen....by the end of the test the dr and ultrasound tech were both trying to get a good picture and talking to my belly begging and pleading for her to sit still! looks like I have an active girl in there! All looks great though and they will repeat it at 36 weeks as this specialist likes to just double check things before delivery to make sure my gestational diabetes hasn't affected her heart at all...he did say the chances of that are very very small as my sugar levels are perfect he actually told me to relax a bit about them and enjoy myself once in awhile and have something sweet or an ice cream cone!

Faith-I'm glad to see bedrest has driven you completely crazy! I agree with jdx, step away from the internet...I know, easier said than done!
Thanks for answering the questions I had about pap smear and NT scan. You're almost exactly two weeks ahead of me, so you've usually got the answers I need.

Pack- for starting bcps! I'm ready to cheer you on when it's your turn to cycle.

wntacambaby-Glad to hear your appt went well and that your bs is stabilizing. Your story about the baby flipping is cute, I'm sure she'll enjoy hearing all about it when she gets older.

jdtx-Glad things seem to be falling into place for you. I'm getting ready to cheer you on!!! KUP

This thread is so much fun. Good news every day Strong hearts, dark lines, excitement about BCP's...umm ladies I think we're all wierd heh heh

Woo hoo Pack welcome to the crazyness again....BCP is just the first step to insani...umm to pregnancy LOL

jd we're going up to Bellingham to look at a Nordhavn (some kind of big boat) that's for sale. Mind you, this is just humoring DH because we're not going to buy the thing tomorrow (we have another house to buy first) but if it makes the silly guy happy...I guess we can do it. I woke this morning to hearing him schedule four other boat tours in the area then he mentioned maybe we could fit Orcas Island into our next week schedule so I sat up in bed and threw my pillow at him. I think he gets the hint LOL

I lived in B'ham when I was going to college for a while...it's a lovely place I also had a place in tx...maybe I'm stalking you Oh wait, I'm older so maybe I was there first and you're stalking me? Ok next move for the stalkers is france! (we might as well see the world while chasing each other LOL)

We're off to ride the merry go round (which DS said no to yesterday and then when we left it he cried that we wouldn't let him ride "my merry go hound" for an hour...yup if you were at the zoo yesterday, that was us hauling around a screaming kid in the wagon begging for the merry go hound Today he'll chicken out again I'm sure and then the madness will continue (look for us in the streets of seattle with a screamer again).

DH and I are both stuborn and obnoxious when we want something...probably why we both have done well in our careers so it's a good thing...but in a three year old with both of our DNA's it's frankly a total pain in the kiester. I should have asked if the donor was calm to the point of catotonic (sp)....we could use a little bit of that around here!

Lia - Congratulations on seeing your little peanut and the heartbeat!

SRL - With all those positive pee sticks I can't imagine how big your beta number will be tomorrow. Good luck!!

hopein09 - I'm sorry about the bleeding scare. I think i have heard that the cervix is very vascular during pregnancy and that any little touch can cause it to bleed.

browneyes - I'm sorry you have to have surgery but maybe this will be the answer to a successfull cycle.

Pack812 - Yippee for starting BCPs!!! I'm doing well. My sister and bro-in-law are reviewing the gestational carrier contract with their lawyer. My clinic requires this even though my sis is doing this for free and we are related. Then my sister starts lupron on July 12 and we have an anticipated retrievel on August 5th if my donor stims appropriately.

faith - I hope your cervical length check goes well this Friday.

jdtx65 - Was this your first lining check? I think the first check they want it to be thin and then after a few does of estrogen it should plump up nicely. I'm glad it worked out with your sister visiting at a different time.

melanie - i'm so glad Brianna checked out fine. You are going to have an active little girl there.

Igloochic - you are getting closer to being PUPO. Your donor seems to amaze me with all her follicles.

helene - Congrats on getting the house! I hope moving isn't too stressful.

Well my meds came today. I guess that means that I am getting closer to actually starting this cycle. I guess it is because of the way things have gone before now....but I keep waiting for "something to come up" and cause us to be cancelled or postponed again.......maybe not.

Wnta – That is great news!!! Enjoy that ice-cream cone.

Igloochic – Where in the world are Igloo and JD? Maybe we could get a reality show. Did DS make the merry-go-hound today? Did you carry a flask to the zoo?

Helene – Be sure to be careful during the packing and moving. No heavy lifting for you.

Sanda – It sounds like things are going great!!! You aren’t too far away now. It was my first lining check and the doctor seemed happy so I feel much better.

Tbonus – You will soon be a medicated, shot fool. I am that nothing else happens and there are no more “something to come ups” for you.
