SLR – I had bloating with the estrogen and constipation when I started PIO. The bloating and cramping was the worst during my 2ww, and after my BFP was only left with the constipation which started prior to the ET. I didn’t have morning sickness or sore bb. It seems to vary for every woman, and I know that it is easy to worry either way.

Linda – Your daughter was beautiful. I can’t even imagine your loss. It is my hope that you’re able to find some joy.

Elizabeth – I know it is hard to hear about other people having babies. I’ve lived through it too. It will be your turn soon, and you’ll be so happy then.

Bluebutterfly – My AF was also very late after I stopped the BCPs. I was worried because I was supposed to start the estrogen shortly to build up my lining. My RE indicated that I might not have AF that month, but I was relieved when she came the next day. My lining also bounced back to transferable levels within 8 days which included the time for AF!

Faith – I’m glad that your cervix is holding up! I hope that it just stays there.

Jdx – You could try verbally telling your DH about each step that he needs to do. My DH found it really reassuring because he was doing “what I told him to do,” and it wasn’t his responsibility.

AFM, was a crazy busy weekend! We have our u/s tomorrow and am really nervous about it! I haven't had many symptoms so I'm just hoping that doesn't lead to bad news. I try not to worry but it is just impossible not to! Will post tomorrow when I get home.

thanks for the humor...

Jdtx said:

Elizabeth – Welcome to the shot club!!! It really makes it feel like you are finally doing something. Drinks lots of water and remember don’t really want to kill DH, it is just the meds.

LOL!!! Thanks for that. It's SO important to keep our sense of humor during all of this.

I'm back from NYC everyone! Exhausted is the word!!! LONG days and very intense... I'd say we walked at a minimum 5 miles each day! LOVED NYC! Learned soooo much and I am glad I stayed the weekend for some fun! Went to see 9 to 5 on Broadway... it was EXCELLENT! Got to go to the Apollo Theater and see the Michael Jackson stuff too... I even made it on the local NBC news broadcasting from the Apollo! It was a much needed break from thinking about m/c and IF, but I did thinnk about you and was wishing I could check in and see what was going on with all of you! I didn't miss this horrid heat and humidity I returned to... the weather there was fantastic!

As I predicted, LOTS of pages to catch up with on here... I am so tired, not sure how many I will get through tonight. I am pretty sure I ovulated while there, and am having some CM signs, so maybe AF will finally appear soon. I need to go tomorrow and get beta checked.

On the trip I had some issues with legs/feet swelling with a red like rash on my lower legs but no pain or itching... I had this happen once before on the same type trip, and the doctors blew me off when I inquired what could it be...so not sure if I should be concerned. I never have feet/leg swelling like that and never seen the rash except on one of these intense travel institutes... any suggestions???

I am anxious to catch up on what has been happening around here... I hope great news from everyone! I missed you all! Faith, I see your updated list.... you did a SUPER DUPER job on the list!!! Thanks so much for handling things for me while I was away! I will be calling on your sub services again, no doubt!

HUGS to you all, hope to be caught up by tomorrow!

Igloo- Honey, how are you? (Don't feel like you have to update right away, but we're dying to know when you're ready.)

Stephanie- Welcome back! We missed you, though I certainly hope you enjoyed your time away. Catch up when you can!

Helene- Hope you figure out your packing dilemma.

Hope- How are you feeling?

Lovemyreilly- I'm definitely not in the same position as you, we've told lots of people, and I have a huge support network. That said, there are also a lot of people we haven't told, and it irks me beyond belief when people ask really stupid personal questions. Someone once told me that my DH and I didn't have children b/c we were selfish, and I really, really had to bite my tongue (almost in half) to keep from saying what I wanted to say to her. We feel your pain, that's for sure.

Melanie- Hope you and Brianna are doing well.

Shelli- Woohoo for your period starting and moving onto the next step! Hoping this is the last period you'll have for a long time!

Teresa- So many congrats! Lupron, finally. I can't wait to hear all of your updates!

JD- Good luck with your shots! If you have to do it yourself, I'm confident you'll be fine. Congrats, too, on donor starting stims, that's huge.

Green stamps in the museum? If that's your story, I'll let you keep it.

RE: My job- I'm only being nice b/c I'm in public. The only time I've ever cried over IF has been related to my clients. It doesn't seem fair sometimes, but life's not fair...so be it. I have the fullest confidence that I'll end up exactly where it is I am supposed to be.

SRL- Great beta!

Blue- Glad you got in touch w/your RE. Hope everything works out for you!

Kirsten- Thanks always for the words of encouragement!

Malloned- We'll be looking forward to hearing your update tomorrow. Fingers crossed that all is well.

Elizabeth- JD's really funny. (Try, try, try to remember that when you think you want to kill DH.)

Faith- Thanks for the list, and thanks for moving me! Hope you can get some much needed and well-deserved rest!

home Stephanie, glad to hear you had time to relax.

Kirsten - thanks for sharing your third trimester experience, I have had the leg swelling for about 2 months now. I have to really watch my food intake, because I feel like i'm eating everything. I really don't want to get on the scale next week. Glad your shower went well and that you got what you wanted.

You're all so sweet for thinking of me. I really felt special when I read the posts today ....not back of the bus special. But like ya'll really cared.

So first quick report then i'll post more later

we froze 15 grade 5aa (highest level at the lab) and 5 ab embryos which was a record for the clinic in both quantity and quality so we got us dome nice frosties!!! Two "perfect 5aa " were transfered today.

The actual transfer ws easy but the prep. Well ladies let me just say OUCH. 4 speculums later and I swear an ice auger later and we found the one that fits. Pay attention now ladies. Close attention. If a doc says "I'm just going to turn the spectrum (while inside of you) don't be shy. Scream f$ck no and tell them you'll pee on them if they try it

ok more later.

checking in

Igloo- I just read your post. That is so funny. I am so happy the transfer is done and you are PUPO...

Stephanie- We missed you. Faith did a GREAT job updating...

Lia - How are you? I havent seen you post and I look so forward to your posts. I just wanted to say that I miss you...

Helene- How is the packing going now?

Hope- How are you feeling? You have been quite...

Lovemyreilly- Just think you will be on your way soon.

Melanie- Hope you doing okay.

Shelli- I pray this is your last period for 9 months...

Teresa- Lupron, finally. It seems like yesterday you were gearing up... Good Luck...

JD- Your donor started stims, that is wonderful, you are on your way.

SRL- Great beta, I know you must be excited.

Blue- Have you talked to your RE again? About people saying stupid things, I guess the good thing is that once you get your BFP, most stupid people seem to disappear because they quit asking dumb questions.

Malloned- so...... Do you have an update yet

Faith- Thanks for keeping the list updated. You did perfect.

Guy and DW - The babies are just perfect.

Kate/Dude - Wow, the babies are getting big, it seems like yesterday you were having Gallbladder pain... They are beautiful....

Kirstyloo - I just love following you, I remeber when I was just getting started, thank you for leading the way...

AFM: I have surgery on Friday, still dont know what time, they will take out the one spot of adheshions and also take the one tube I have left. They think that that is where the fluid in the uterus comes from. I have done some checking on Traditional surrogacy with my donor (love her) just because I am paranoid and I am so afraid I may need to take a different route. Funny, We were SO SURE that DE was the answer. All we needed was a few good eggs, now we may need one good womb. I just want to come out of surgery and the RE go, WOW, everything is PERFECT and we can cycle again by... August... Is that too much to ask? OH, and just for reality, she could even through in a good "your old" comment and that wouldnt even bother me.

Wow Igloochic,
I think it's safe to say that you're not gonna have to shoot yourself up ever again. 15 perfect frozen embies, 5 almost perfect frozen embies, and 2 perfect transferred... You are now PUPO! What are you gonna do with all those leftovers? Become the next Jon & Kate? (ugh, sorry, i really am tired of hearing about them...isn't all of america?) Congrats on a successful transfer, even though the Dr. was a bit clumsy during the process. Cant wait to hear good news from you. I pray my donor is half as productive as yours !
