Hope- Let us know how the Doppler works. I hope you'll enjoy your time away.
Lia- Congrats on mucho m/s! Sorry that it comes on top of all of the family stuff, including the (not) shotgun wedding. Nice to hear from you, I had been thinking about you. Sanda- Congrats! That's a huge decision and I wish you all the best. I really, really hope this works for you. And while I really, really hope that you get to use your sister's calendar, calendars aren't everything! Whatever calendar your body is working on is the one for you. Godiva- I'm really sorry to hear about your beta. I was really hoping for the "love" (wait, sorry, I'm watching tennis, and of course, in tennis, zero is love.) Sorry also that I feel compelled to make a joke out of everything. My sympathy is sincere, even when my presentation isn't. Hugs! Igloo- I fully support POASing whenever you want. Someone on this board once said that they worked with computers (maybe a programmer), anyway, she said her motto was, "Test early and test often." I like the motto. Dirty dancing, huh? I really was joking about being a stripper. (Here's me, grinning like an idiot.) OK, by now, you've already gotten your official results. Please remember the second part of the motto is "test often".Hope- You do some seriously crazy voodoo dances. (Y'all, if Hope's dancing for you, be careful what you wish for.) JD- I don't know if it's the baby magic or what, but when Hope dances, it's serious. (She did the find a donor dance for me, and twenty minutes later I had a donor.) Enjoy your wine! LGB- Nice to hear from you. Understand the laying low, though. Teresa- Have fun in the mountains! Relax, relax, relax. (Also, I had an idea- since you're being so great and coordinating SS, plus participating, what if we rope one of our non-participating friends into doing the sister assignments, so you get to be surprised, too?) Stephanie- RE said the fibroid wasn't big, just over two centimeters. He said he was just worried about location, it's in the actual cavity, and for that reason, it could cause m/c. He said he would let me cycle if I wanted. The truth is I don't know that I could make it through the m/c. I never gotten the BFP, and I'll live with that, if that's the way it works out, but I knew (know) that if I got my BFP and lost a baby, over something they warned me about ahead of time and something that I had a chance to change, that I'd have a really hard time forgiving myself, to say the least. Anyway, I'm really ok, and I'd feel kind of bad if you were having to drink for all of us, so I'll come lighten your load. Cheers to the benchwarmers!

Pack- No need to apologize for joking around and using humor to lighten up all of us.... I know you are sincere.... and we ALL NEED HUMOR during this crazy roller coaster ride! I totally understand your feelings on getting the surgery to minimize any chances for m/c that you can control.... I am here for your every step in this journey, and as I said before, I'd love it if we could be cycle buddies! Thanks for having a few beverages, I don't want to become an adult beverage lush!
Looks like many of us will be cycling in/around Sept! Funny how we have the ebbs and flows of busy months. The good news is hopefully we will all have a buddy! Browneyes-Thinking of you as you prepare to have surgery on Friday! Karens, DG924, Lewlou, Friedeggs, Wishing, Sandy18, Selena- Pop in and update us on how you are doing these days!

Pack I wasnt going to participate except maybe to be a sender if we had an odd number.Reason being of course that you cannot organize and assign and it continue to be a secret. That is fine for me though as I am enjoying putting it together. Pus it should start hoppin around the time I am in the dreaded 2ww.
Just got to thinking I must be addicted......here I am on vacation and I still can't stay away from you ladies. PS So sorry to hear about the setback. Here's things get back on track for you soon.

Hey all!
I apologize for being MIA lately. I have been slowly catching up on all of the things that I needed to take care of while on bedrest. The last few days have pretty much consisted of bills, fighting with my insurance company and going grocery shopping. Yes, it's been blissful. I did type a LONG list of personals earlier but everything got deleated (I know, I know I should have typed it in word). I was going to repost but I ended up spending all day at the grocery store as DH and I were running on around the clock take out. So I went through EVERY aisle and bought a million organic things, did you know they have organic ketchup? Okay...reading that over tells me that I probably went a little overboard but I have been stir crazy on bedrest and it felt so good to just be outside! I will catch up on personals over the weekend I PROMISE! I would do it now but I am running on empty and I have to wake up at 6am to go to my MFM appointment which is literally three hours away! I will update as soon as I can! Please know that I am thinking of all of you!

Hi Ladies,
I've been keeping an eye on everyone through lurking, and want to say congrats to the preggos, as well as to offer a big hug to those who didn't get the BFP this time around. We have finally started our frozen donor egg cycle, as of yesterday (began lupron shots). For some reason, I am having a hard time getting excited at all for this one....either this whole IVF thing has gotten routine and the thrill is gone after the third shot, or else I am just trying to keep from being disappointed if it doesn't work. Or, the more likely reason -- the 17 grand I shelled out two days ago for the cycle....ouch, painful!! No insurance coverage on this one....even though I knew how much it was gonna be, I still had to try not to hyperventilate as I wrote out the check! Anyway, I will be checking in with y'all as the month goes on....looks like we'll transfer sometime in late July/early August. Carrie

Hey Hope (and other ladies), thanks for asking about us.
DW is doing great! She does NOT look like she just had two 6+ lbs babies less then 2 weeks ago. She is getting around great, and is the most amazing Mommy! We went in on Monday and the boys were gaining weight. One had already exceeded his birth weight, and the other was right at his. They are taking 70 ml. right now, so just over 2 ozs. We give them bottled breast milk in the day and formula at night. They really seem to be doing great! I go back to work on Monday, but her Mom is taking 2 weeks off and will drive over here every day to help DW out. It is amazing to watch these little baby boys gaining little personalities. We are both truly blessed. |

Hi everyone! I am too busy to do a good job of posting esp. not having time for personals, but I am doing some reading here when I can manage it. Had a very busy month in June! Being on a break from ttc was probably a real good thing (though I'd like to be making progress!)...still hoping to cycle by Sept. at latest with DE... no real progress with donor match yet, but working on it
I'm starting to see more ups and downs here, though mostly ups, I think! Happy 4rth everyone! Let's relax and enjoy it!Faith hope you're off the bedrest ok!

Stephanie- You rock! Humor is my defense mechanism- sometimes if you don't laugh you'll cry, and I always prefer to laugh. (I also realize that it doesn't always come across the way I intend.)
I'd very much love to be your cycle buddy, although the truth is, you'll probably cycle before me, and I'll be cheering you on. (Also, for list purposes, my MRI is 7/13, not the surgery.) Teresa- Setbacks happen! So be it. I hadn't realized you weren't particpating in SS, so thanks even more for putting it together. I'm really looking forward to it. Faith- Hope your MFM appt went well, and I'm glad you got out of the house some yesterday. Bedrest is enough to make anyone stir-crazy. Frog- Good luck! Kim- I'm sure you are big and hot, with the summer heat and pregnant on top of it. Do you know the baby's gender? Enjoy your long weekend and rest as much as you can. Guy- So glad to hear DW and the boys are doing well. Hope you guys are getting as much rest as possible. Thanks for the update! Styltryn- Hope you get your match soon, and that cycle plans go smoothly. To all, a wonderful Thursday! Hoping lots of you also have tomorrow off!

Frogleg-The check has been written, so no turning back. It unfortunate that the majority of women don't get any insurance coverage when it comes to IF treatments. Now it's time to concentrate on your future baby. Are you cycling at RBA? I did frozen DE with them and am now 13 weeks 1 day. I will say that my experience with them was great and I couldn't say enough nice things about the practice.
Faith-It sounds like you had a busy day at the grocery store. I'm sure it was nice to get back to normal after all the bed rest. I hope your appt went well this morning. Thinking about everyone!!!! ![]()

Happy almost 4th and almost Friday- though today is my Friday which is wonderful and needed! I am off next week and so, so excited!
Godiva- sorry about your beta- that happened to me before where the darn # would not go down quickly enough! I recall they weanted below a 5 and my last test was a 6....ugh... You will get there soon enough. I am routing for you!!!! Pack- I think you are doig the right thing with the fibroid. Why take the cahnce to look back and regret later? I hope this helps you feel more relaxed and positive about your cycle - all good thing to those who wait, right? Jeeez... we should all have buckets of babies then..... Faith- organic ketchup... now I am not certain about the appeal here... I am a heinz girl myself... too funny. Guy- your posts always make me misty eyed as they are so wonderful. I am so glad for you and your new fam. Jak- I keep checking for you... How are you doing? how was your visit at the RE? AFM...My consult is tonight and I am nervous. I am really worried they are going to say - hey its just not in the cards for you. Now, I have no reason to think this - they like the money, right? But I am full of nerves. Any tips on what to ask after my first failed donor attempt? I will use my 2 frozen embies... Any thougths are appreciated. I expect I will be in August and I love the ss idea! Have a nice day - and lots of hugs to you all for what you are going through and for being here with me.
