Jak- I am so glad that the doctor has reserved a "star" donor especially for you and DH. That sounds perfect! As for your daughter, she seems like a very sweet and thoughtful girl. Best wishes in whatever decision you may make! KUP. Hope- I am looking forward to the arrival of your doppler. Best wishes! Igloochic- I am looking forward to your HPT results! Best wishes for a !AFM: My appointment today could not have went better! My mom was there to support me and everything went great. Both babies are doing amazing. They are so cute and are getting bigger and bigger each time we see them. Baby A's placenta relocated from being completely over the cervix to the top of the uterus next to Baby B's. The doctor said that he had never seen a placenta move that quickly before. Also, my cervix was measuring 3.6cm and was closed tightly. Everything looks great! I am so happy that I can resume a normal lifestyle. Of course I am taking it easy but it's nice to know that I can be more active at times without having to worry. Also, the doctor took the time to review all of the chemotherapy drugs as well as the radiation therapy that I received and the doctor assured me that the prior treatment would have no effect on the pregnancy. Right now everything is great and I am SO thankful. I will post personals tomorrow I promise!

Faith- I'm so glad that your appt. went so well! YEAH! for no more bedrest! Have you started tellling people that you are pregnant? I don't know how you are hiding a twin pregnancy at 16 weeks... you must be wearing the right kinds of clothes!
When are due dates for some of you? Hope, Faith, Helene, etc. I'd love to update the list when you are ready to have me add your due date! |

Catching up!
Hi everyone,
I have been trying to keep up reading the posts but have had very little time to post! I am in advertising sales and not able to be in front of my computer a lot, always on the road, although I now have an iphone so maybe I'll try keeping up more that way! First, thank you to everyone who had special thoughts for me and mentioned my daughter's pics. I do and will miss her every single day of my life. I really appreciate the  .Stephanie-Welcome Back! We all missed you! I will add to your group of beta  for you! But to make you feel better, my beta on 6/22 was 8. I was supposed to go back on 6/29 but I faintly started AF and by the next day, Tuesday, 6/30 AF was here so I didn't have to go back! Maybe that will happen for you too! Tbonus-Count me in on the SS....sounds like fun! Enjoy your vaca! Sanda & LGB- Here's an  for you too!Pack-I am so sorry to hear about your fibroids...I would probably want to have surgery too before trying TTC, going thru a m/c is harder than waiting! Frogleg-we may be cycle buddies...I hope to have my FET in late July/early August too! Karens-Hope your RE appt. goes well today. KUP. Igloo-ooooooohhh the waiting!! KUP Sat. as soon as you POAS!!! for you! Jak-What a great thing for your daughter to offer! That brings tears to my eyes...my daughter was so caring too. The decision you make will be yours alone. I have written a tentative set of rules what do you ladies think?
Rules: -The number of times you contact your person is up to you. Please contact them at least once a month though. Alternating packages and a note or card -We will reveal ourselves on Dec 31st. So that's a little over 5 months -Please post when you have received something and what you have received -If you have not gotten anything from your partner, please PM me -You can just put your address on the label and not your name. -Spending limit was set at $25 a month for packages. If you would like to spend more, feel free. If you can't send out that much in one shot you can do smaller amounts. Let me know if you need ideas!! Please return questionaires by July 10th so I can do the matches. Thanx

Karen- Good luck at your consult tonight! I don't have any question suggestions to offer, but I will be interested to hear what they say.
Teresa- I hope you never have to take BCP again either! Hope suppression check is aces. (As far as SS goes, I am truly game for whatever! Minus ponies and polar bears.) Blue- Sorry, no thoughts on missing AF. Best to you, though! Stephanie- You are such a trooper and such an inspiration! Thanks so much for the list keeping. Hope- Enjoy your doppler! Jak- I PMed you, but please feel free to ask anything. (Oh, and Igloo mentioned something about reading- if you haven't yet read "Mommies, Daddies, Donors and Surrogates", the book that Dude and I keep pushing, it's well wortha skim now. Tons of insight on both sides of the issue and more.) Igloo- Sort of sorry about the POAS results, but not too sorry 'cuz I'm positive you're gonna get your BFP, you're just early, yet. My sweet, sweet donor is sticking with me. What a girl! I can't believe, esp as she is waiting for me to cycle so that she can start trying again. I told her if she wanted to, she could go ahead and do her thing, I would FET and she said, we just have one goal, and that's to get you pregnant, and FETs don't have the same success rate, so I'll just wait for you. Teresa- The rules for SS sound fine to me. Just one point for clarification.... if we get our matches on July10th, do we make our first contact in July or wait til August to begin?
I'm glad so many people want to participate... I hope no one feels like 5 months is too much and needs to drop out. It's not too late for those of you still on the fence.... Monday, July 6 is closing day... let Teresa know if you want to play! |

Finalfrontier--thank you so much for posting those beautiful words. As I left my RE office today, I felt sort of numb...my period has not come, and probably won't according to u/s (lining measurement was 5). The donor's flow has not started as of yet either, and I feel as if everythig is up in the air. Reading your post was such an inspiration...right on target.
