Toasted with everyone who is still able to partake and had a little for everyone who is not able to since they are  lucky ducks.I am so looking forward to SS and promise no ponies (at least not that need feeding or a shovel) Sorry if I missed anyone in my long post. I purchased my adult sweet tea vodka to have at a 4th of July party tomorrow! I figured mixed with lemonade will be perfect in this 100 degree weather! Might as well enjoy some fun while I sit and wait (taking LGB's lead here!) Great # of follies.... just think... in 10 days, you will be PUPO! WHOOO HOOO! KUP! Happy 4th of July everyone! She will begin injections on Monday after u/s and blood test. Me down to 1.0 of lupron and estrogen pills. Estimate ER 7/22

Soulshine - I am glad that you are getting closer to the FET cycle- good for you- I am hoping to joing you in august, but not sure how long I will be on the BCP this time- Igloo- did you POS ? KUP! Pack- Between my DH and I we pushed and got a couple of thoughts to help guide us and we will use our 2 frozen embies. I have to call when appears to get a calendar. I am hoping for Aug for FET. Karma- How many days after ER did your transfer occur? It may be too early....I had a Negative HPT and then was told I was PG before. The tests are imperfect- I hope that is the case for you! Godiva- You are funny- Our sweet boy LOVED the fireworks and the boom! We were far enough that the boom wasn't too loud and his face with the smile and wow will be etched in my mind and heart forever. I believe it was truly one of the best moments in my life seeing that pure happiness. I bet you would have enjoyed them too since we weren't too close! Can you move me to gearing for next cycle? I had a bit of difficulty early on in my pg and then at the end- I cut out all caffeine and then worked out couple hours before bed- it helped tire me out- I also tried to get up earlier so I could get to sleep earlier.Sleep is wonderful - Hope you dont have trouble for long. Kirstyloo- I appreciate the note and understand the whys - I have been with this practive for now almost 5 years, 15 cycles and know everyone so well, it is difficult to be patient Karen vs. Karen. We were able to push a bit and got the answers we wanted and left satisfied. I believe it is up to us to not leave the consult until we have the answers we wanted and find the right way to elicit those answers. Congratulations on your pregancy! Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a very happy and safe 4th of July....I'm off to pack the car we are taking my niece and nephew (3 and 7) to the beach and then to the drive in theater to see Ice Age....the sun is finally shining down here I was beginning to think we would never see it again!

Teresa- So sorry your vacation day started with a ding, not a bang of fireworks.... lol I am sure you were not in a good mood being awakened and having a headache. Sure hope your headache goes away and you can enjoy your day in the mountains! Karen- Glad the fireworks with your son were a hit! What a great memory you will have! To: Igloochic malloned10 karens I did a dollar store HPT 3 days after a 5 day transfer and it was negative. Besides tender breasts and a little fatigue, I don't have any other symptoms. I'm feeling dissappointed but trying to stay positive. I was pregnant twice before so i know what I'm supposed to feel, I'm just not sure when I started having symptoms. ( I have an 8 year old and 1 MC )Am I supposed to feel more symptoms? I want to test tommorrow but I'm SO scared! I think if i were pregnant it would def show up by tommorrow and I'm so afraid it will be negative. My beta is Tuesday. Thanks for all your support! |

I am 5 weeks 3 days and I feel nothing but a bit tired! I had a 5 day transfer and I truly did not feel like it took at all (this is my 3rd IVF cycle) I just had the normal cramping, bloating, feelings you get with the progestrone. i was so upset the 3rd day after my transfer because I did not feel prego at all and I did not think it worked! then I decided to do a HPT. I had my egg transfer on Monday June 15th and did the HPT on Friday afternoon of June 19th.....and there was a faint line! then it kept getting darker after that. I also have rally high HCG, 486 was my first 14 days PO, 16 days PO it was 1426 then 19 days PO it was 7463 so your HCG may not be that high yet either. I say try the First response test that is what I took, from what I have read on : lip piercings body piercing websites at peeonastick.com It is the most sensitive. Good luck and KUP!

Karma- QUIT stressing.... do another test tomorrow 7dp5dt or Monday.. 8dp5dt..... most people do not get a pos. HPT until day 7, and some even later.... if it's neg, it does not mean you are NOT pregnant! Enjoy your holiday and distract yourself!

Happy Fourth of July Daddy!
So, it's about 4:30 this fine Holiday morning, and I have already fed and changed one baby and put him back down and now I am done feeding Preston. I have learned in the past 2 weeks to not change them until they are done eating as they tend to have their little "anal volcano" bouts during feedings.
I lay Preston down, remove his diaper and make sure his little wee wee is covered. (Pee on me 18 times, shame on you, pee on me a 19th time, shame on me...) I slide the new diaper underneath the boy while holding his little legs crossed as they help Daddy squeeze the little wee wee covering towel. I take a wipe and clean the outside of the butt cheakal area, and put the wipey in the soiled diaper. As I reach for the second wipey, the lad decides to let out his own firework display by Farting/Spraying on Daddy's leg. Only Daddy's leg too, nothing else, just Daddy's uncovered lower leg. I didn't allow the child to revel in his newfound trick. Like a seasoned pro of two weeks and a day, I simply grabbed another wipe, cleaned the leg, finished the boy and put him back to bed. An amateur would have got disgusted and moaned, maybe even got up to clean the splattered appendage, thus showing the child that this new trick is a way to demoralize his Father, but not this guy! What can I say, I am the Michael Jordan of getting pooped on! Happy 4th of July everyone, I am off to go pressure wash my leg!! |
