Teresa- Ha ha! That is one of the things Dude loves about me.

Faith- yep, it is boring. I know I wanted to punch the next person that said to me "I wish I could be on bedrest." Uh, no you don't. Have you done online shopping for the babies yet? That kept me real busy. Do a registry at Babies r' Us and other places. That way you pick out the stuff but don't spend the money. Also do research into cribs, carseats, etc. I recommend Car Seat.Org - Carseat, Vehicle & Child Passenger Safety Forums for car seat information.

Jane- Love that story! I can totally imagine the Dr.'s face if you said that. Dude would make a comment like that, I bet. He has that same sense of humor.

One of my friends (who did IVF) told me about the time she cut herself badly while shaving before an RE appt. She was so worried and embarrassed about going in there and having them see her bleeding profusely. Luckily she was fine by the time she got to the appt though.

C'mon ladies- let's confess. How many shave before RE or OB appts? I think a lighthearted topic of discussion is just what the doctor ordered for this thread today.

funny

you are all hysterical... Kate- I laughed out loud - I was always vascillating on should I try to get a mirror over my baby bump and do what needs to be done! ha- love that y'all share this very important bonding experience.

Today while changing in front of my 2.5 y/o he said mommy you dont have a penis. I said that's right! He said I have a penis. I said thats right Alex, good job.

He said Daddy has a BIG PENIS! I did not laugh out loud so to incur a replay of this discussion at a later time, however, thought it might be as enjoyable to you all as to me- nothing lightens the mood like penis talk and shaving your hoo haa...

Jane- my first RE was an abdominal and I was so shocked at not having the magic wand - it was fantastic! I had to ask or I would have been improperly dressed for the occasion myself.

Kate - I wish you luck with the new formula and love hearing about your beautiful girls-

Tbonus & Kate- Your exchange is hilarious! I always keep myself well maintained. I'm not entirely sure why at this point. I am on pelvic bedrest so not much action going on there. Poor DH, he definitely had no idea about any of this stuff going in. Everytime we go to an appointment he's always hoping that we can resume our "activites"... but we never can (lol). I'm really curious to see (as well as greatly looking forward to) what kind of pent up frustrations will come out once the babies are here .

Karens- Little kids crack me up! Very cute!

Teresa- I have had several PM today, but none from you....you may need to resend! YEAH for ER day on Tues.!!! I'm sure with all the days you had worked out to have off after ET, you can trade a few days with someone who will be willing to exchange. KUP!
It's full speed ahead now, Teresa!!! Beep, Beep, get out of the way.... soon will be Teresa's ET day!

Karen- Sorry to hear no AF yet.... the dances continue, she's got to appear soon, right???

Pack- I got a delicious chocolate bar filled with creamy caramel.... and I am having willpower, and haven't opened it yet.... or else I am afraid I'll eat it all at once! Thanks for another option about leftover frosties... hadn't heard about that! Hoping Wed. brings you great news!

Kate- Sorry to hear Brooke isn't feeding as well. I was a preemie and was on Nutramagen formula. Not sure if that is one you had tried. They are growing... amazing 9 lbs!

Jane- Great ? about u/s.... and what a hilarious discussion has insued!

I think all women make sure they have groomed/trimmed/shaved before any OB/RE appts.... not that I honestly think any doctor looks for more than a few seconds or even gives it a thought... it's all for US!

Along the funny kids story, a friend of mines daughter was about 3-4 years old... she was in the bathroom when her mother was using it. When her mom wiped she was watching and was horrified, saying, mommy what are all of those ants on you!?!?! (of course being p.hair) Cracked me up... I told her she needed to write these stories down and keep a notebook when anything funny was said. (Karen- go get a notebook and write that one down... your son will love you reading that when he is about 17!)

Shelli- Is your ER stil on Tuesday? It'll be here quick!

Igloo- Glad you are looking fwd., but keep us posted on what you find out tomorrow... and see if they will do an u/s to see if the other sac is there, that will give you real confirmation.

Karma- Good luck with your u/s tomorrow! You know we will be waiting for an update!

Bluebutterfly- Is ET tomorrow? GOod luck!

Linda- Do you have a calendar yet?

Julie- Hope you and DH had some peace and quiet before the crowd arrived today!

AFM- Was doing great today and then about 40 min. ago, bad pain again...Have heating pad on again. Took leftover pain med I had from Surgery on Fri. night... hope I don't have to do that again. Anyway, guess if I don't feel better tomorrow I will call doctor. Hate to call though cause unless it's something new, they can't do a thing about this, except say take ibuprophen. Anyway, do the 'pain go away' dance, please... AF looks like she is done for now... hooray!

Thinking of you all... these posts have exhausted my mind today! Didn't mean to miss anyone.

Loving the laughs here today!

karens- OMG! Love that story! Did you tell your DH, I bet he strutted around after that.

Faith- oh yes, pelvic bedrest. Poor Dude had to deal with that too. Perhaps buy hubby a Playboy subscription.

Godiva- Oh my! The ants go marching one by one! That is so funny! Oh and Brooke tried Nutramigen (sp?) and it worked for a few days, but then she started screaming again. Now we are on the Similac version of it (Alimentum) and she has about one bad feeding a day for now. That Nutramigen smells really bad!

Hello all. I am still working today and I am sleepy tired. I keep thinking about POAS and know that its too soon. I also worry and I am trying to set myself up for the possible disappointment because I only had 2 embabies left after the freeze. Its OK. I have my DS.

Can I ask what did SECALY do/say/whatever to get 'banned'??? It is blowing my mind and I don't know what happened. Am I the only one who doesn't 'get it'?

FF She posted a question asking if anyone knew of Downs friendly adoption agencies either in Canada or the US. She was exploring her options (as her post said). Then the mean girls took it from there unfortunately I feel bad for the poor gal. She just wanted help and got smacked upside the head instead.

Godiva - If you aren't going to eat that chocolate bar filled with caramely goodness, you just send it my way!! Thanks, you now have me craving a Caramello!!

Final - Way, Way too early!

Karen - That is just too funny!!

Teresa - Yahoo for Tuesday!

Okay since we are doing funny kid stories......

My DH and I were eating at a restaurant with our DS and my DH got up to use the restroom (to pee). My DS announces to everyone around us (VERY loudly - no volume control on my DS!) Daddy's going to take a poop!! We were potty training him at the time so #2's were a really big deal! My poor DH just about crawled under the table when I told him what happened!!
