Thank you so much! I JUST saw this note--I haven't been checking as much lately. The u/s went really well. We saw the fetal pole and the fluttering heartbeat, then HEARD the heartbeat! That was the most incredible thing that I have ever experienced in my life. The heartbeat was 119, which the doctor thought was strong. The doctor did think that I was probably ~5d behind, which he said still increased the risk for miscarriage. However, his nurse told me later that the margin of error for the machine was 3-5d, and that the doctor scares people often over that type of thing. So, we'll see! We will repeat the u/s in 2wks. and hopefully will see 2wks. growth. That is all that is important. In the meantime, I'm having symptoms of pregnancy still, so I figure that I'm doing pretty well for now. I already have an appt. set up w/an OB for Feb. 11. Wow! It's all like a dream--I'm still trying to wrap my brain around it. My DH and I are as happy as we could be about this, and thinking positive.

Thanks again, and I hope to be more active on the site again soon. I hope that everyone else is well and getting their !
