They told me that 4/5 of their patients have this. It is still really hard to stay positive and calm!! I go in Monday for another ultrasound.

Spotting and bleeding is very common post-IVF! The body is so stimmulated that there's a lot of blood in the tissues. ALso, are you taking prog supp? They can cause spotting.

Thank you for the welcome. I look forward to sharing and learning over the next seven months.
I too have had spotting for almost two weeks. When it started, it was very faint. On the second day, it was much darker. I spoke with my doctor and a friend who is an ob/gyn and was told the same thing as AlieKhat was told, that it is common and not always dangerous. That helped calm my nerves, but also knowing that my other symptoms were there helped as well. My bb's are still very sore and I have waves of nausea. At yesterday's appointment, I saw the flickering heartbeat, so I am pretty sure that the spotting is not dangerous - at least for now!
Christin - i will look online about renting a doppler, i had not thought of it!

Aliekat: that everything is okay on Monday during your US. Do you trust your dr.? If he's not concerned then it should be okay, but def. keep an eye on your cramping and spotting.

Christin: ME! I haven't had any "morning" sickness. I have a decent appetite for breakfast and lunch and then around 3pm it's all downhill. Nothing sounds good to eat at all and everything looks disgusting to eat. I get a horrible headache every evening around 5-6pm which lasts well into the night/early morning. Ugh!

Chuchu: I am so sorry to hear the news. You are in my ! Big to you!

Deej! It's great to have you!

Christin - I am the opposite of you. I feel sick in the morning, but better in the afternoon and evening. I am just thankful I am not sick all day long!! It's weird, my boobs have always been slightly sore, but today and last night I think they are really starting to hurt...like they will hurt on the inside without even being touched (does that make sense)? Also, hadn't thought about the doppler. We'll see...

Have a great day, ladies!

Hey girls just want to share with you.

Well I awoke at 4 this morning to go potty and to my astonishment, I had blood. Went and laid down and was just in excruciating pain I took tylenol to help ease the pain. The bleeding/spotting had stopped, but I was still concerned with the pain. So I called and got an appt for an ultrasound today, Saw our peanut, but there had only been very very minimal growth and there was no heartbeat. The Perinotologist had come in and explained after he had reviewd our images and report that he was sorry that there was no heartbeat and to stop my medications and it should pass on its own within a week or 2, IF nothing happens then to go back. I just knew in my heart the day I found out I was pregnant that something wasn't right. I have never tested + with an HPT with my daughter and I tested + on 14dpo. When I got the + at 12dpo. Then the negativity remarks after another from our RE and staff.

To my knowledge I have never had a miscarriage and shocked that it is happening. I guess every women in their lifetime is bound to expierence one. However I am surprisingly handling it ok. Chris on the other hand I think is taking the news alot harder.

I just hope it happens fast and doesn't drag out, I am stopping my medications as of now so I hope that will make things happen faster.

I wish you all the best and have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
