I forgot to send a big Congrats to everyone and their beta's yesterday.

As you can see, I'm up at this crazy hour. I can't seem to sleep very well the last couple of days. Think I'll feel better about things once I get my 2nd beta and it comes back GREAT!

KS Girls

Ok, so I really can't sleep tonight. So, I was reading some of your profiles. I noticed that a couple of you were also from KS. Anyone want to share where they are from? I'm in Abilene.

Good morning! I hope everyone is feeling better this morning! It sounds like a rough night last night! I ended up super tired and nauseous and went to bed earlier than usual. Doing ok this morning, but my stomach feels a little off. Hope it's a better day for you all!

Hey everyone! No offense, but I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one having tummy problems!! I feel a little better knowing that there are a lot of us going through the same thing! I'm not throwing up or anything, just really nauseas and NOTHING sounds good to eat except crackers. I'm drinking Ensure now to try and keep my protein intake up but those are getting old too. Last night, all I wanted was PASTA...so I have a wonderful roommate (who also is my bestfriend) and he went to the store and made me some dinner as DH had league (and roomie is an AWESOME cook by the way). I felt so bad...I walked out to the kitchen...correction, dragged myself to the kitchen and as soon as I walked in and smelled the food, I got nauseas and ran back to my bedroom. That stunk too because it was really good what he made!

Has anybody found any quick things to keep in their purses or desks at work to help with the stomach queaziness?? Ritz crackers have become my new friend .

I'm so sorry to hear how sick you are, Kristen! I am not that sick yet, but definitely am not quite right. So in my day job I am actually a registered dietitian. What we have always told people is small, frequent meals throughout the day so you don't allow yourself to get too hungry or too full. Eat what your body is craving, as you will have a better chance of keeping it down. Crackers are great, so are sprite and ginger ale. Anything with ginger in it is supposed to help with m/s too. I hope you start feeling better!

Wow, a lot of us having the same tummy symptoms. I woke up last night really hungary, but didn't eat, probably should have I guess. Other than that, my cramps are cooling down a little bit. Took ANOTHER HPT and it was even darker this a.m. I'm for a great beta tomorrow morning. Like I said, think I will feel much better once I get that second number.

Oh, and one other question. When do you all plan on telling family and friends about your little beans? My mom and his mom knows and 2 more, what does everyone think?

Lacey, I PMd you back. We are near Kansas City. I understand the not sleeping. DH is out-of-town and I tossed and turned all night worrying about my beta. We were planning on telling the family (only) this week that were were expecting, but it seems like all of the air has been let out of my balloon. Until I get that 4th beta tomorrow, I'm not quite sure what we are going to do. I'm not worried about how big the number is; I'm worried about it not doubling. I could use everyone's prayers for tomorrow.

I finally took my HPT this morning, and it is so great to see the 2 lines!

Jana - I will definitely be for you tomorrow!

We told both of our parents and a few friends that knew we were going through IF treatments. We told family because, coming from a christian background, we wanted them praying that this baby develops healthy and makes it to full term. Otherwise, we are keeping it to ourselves until probably we are through the first trimester. It's hard not telling people though! I'm so excited and I want to share it with others!

Kristen - I was thinking after my post earlier that if you want to do carnation instant breakfast in place of ensure, that is a great substitution. it is cheaper and tastes better, so I hope that helps!

Talk to you all later!

Lacey - I will be for you tomorrow too!

Jana -my re's office gave me a handout when i went for my second beta and it says "it is important to remember that some pregnancies with initially low or poorly rising levels of HCG do not result in a miscarriage"...and i wouldn't even say yours is "poorly rising". it pretty much doubled! I hope this makes you feel better.

Good luck tomorrow, ladies!

Hi ladies-

Just got home from work.

First- Good Luck tomorrow to Lacey and Passionscientist on your beta!!!

Second- I really need some advice because I'm really started to freak myself out. I started to have light brownish spotting (tmi I know) and cramping the day before my first beta which was Friday. My beta came back 86 which I thought was low for 15dpiui. It stopped on Sunday but has been back since Monday morning. I cried Monday morning when I saw it was back. My beta yesterday was over 500 but I don't really know if that is good. Has anyone had a similiar experience? A few of the symptoms I was having has gotten less but that makes me nervous too. Before I was pregnant my family called me the "worry wart" so you can image how I am know.

Anyway, hope everyone's tummies are feeling better today and everyone gets a good nights sleep. Thanks for listening!

=) Kelly

starfsh- It could just be from late implantation. Your beta's sound great!

My day has gone pretty good. My tummy hasn't been as bad this afternoon as it was yesterday. Took my puppy out to my grandparents farm to run around with their dog and had the HARDEST time not spilling the beans to her. Just waiting on that second beta result.

Passionscientist- I've never had ensure, but I've been craving chocolate milk the last couple of days like crazy.

I hope everyone is doing great today.

Sending up TONS of for all of us and those of us with betas tomorrow!!

Starfish, I wouldn't worry about the brownish spotting. Brown means it's old so I would think that's a good sign. I understand the worry about a lack of symptoms. My seem to be subsiding somewhat.

Kristen12, thanks for the info. I like the advice you gave Kristen about the Carnation Good Start. I totally forgot about that stuff. I used to drink it all the time. Sent hubby to the store for some.

I'll be out of town starting tomorrow and be back on Sunday, so wanted to wish everyone a happy 4th of July. I hope that tomorrow is a great day for all of us.
