Kelly - Try not to worry hon...first of all your beta looks beautiful so that is good news and as long as you aren't bleeding bright red blood and having bad cramping to go with it, spotting is just a normal part of all this (so I hear...my first time too). But we are here to be your sounding board to keep you calm!!

Jana - Have a great weekend!!! DH and I are going out of town Saturday for a night to celebrate our wedding anniversary so it will be nice to get away for a little bit.

How's everyone's tummy's today!? Mine is MUCH better today than yesterday...almost have a full appetite, at least until I smell it and then not so much. LOL.

Wow, there was a lot of posts to read! I wish I could address each one but tonight is a limited night since I got home from work late and need to cook.

Symptoms-wise - m/s is here in full force. I haven't actually thrown up but the nausea is there, 24/7 and nothing sounds good to eat. I've forced myself to eat string cheese and almonds and some low-salt crackers. Diet 7UP is my friend, next to water since it's not great to OD on diet drinks.

My 2nd beta # today was 191!!! I'm at 14dpiui so I was very pleased since it more than doubled! While I'm sure I'm dreaming, I am keeping my hopes up that there is more than one bean in there getting settled in!

I'm gonna ask the nurses tomorrow if they will do one more beta before we go on vacation next week, just for my peace of mind! We'll see if they will do it.

Otherwise, my first u/s is on 7/18! That seems like a lifetime away!!!!!

Congrats to everyone who had good beta news and looks like we are all having some good symptoms (heartburn and nausea). I never had that in my last pregnancy and I really believe it was a sign that things were not good. That is just my personal experience though. I can go back and look at my journal at all the times I said...I don't feel pregnant, I don't have any symptoms. And during those days, my baby had already stopped developing. So my body knew it but my mind didn't. Anyway, enough sad stuff.

I gotta run and sorry for being so short.

PS: I live in Springtown, TX. Any Texans on here? I'm a Texan, not a UT fan...BIG difference! DH is diehard Sooner so I am from TX but root for OU!

Hey ladies! I had my mind/body class tonight which is always nice. We did yoga, which was relaxing.

Kelly - I have been told cramping and spotting is normal. As far as the pregnancy symptoms go, my RE's office said that the lack of symptoms or having a ton of symptoms is not an indicator of if the pregnancy is going well or not. So don't let the lack of symptoms worry you. They said that bloodwork and ultrasounds are the best way to see how your pregnancy is progressing, and with a 2nd beta of 500, i don't think you have to worry too much. There are plenty of pregnant women out there that either have no symptoms in the first trimester or have a ton of symptoms. I understand how easy it is to worry though! I am always fighting those thoughts too! For example, I started cramping again tonight and I started getting worried, but had to remind myself that the uterus has to adjust to this growing thing in there, so it's normal! I hope that helps!

Good luck tomorrow for all you with betas! Can't wait to see all those great numbers!

Tina - Congrats on your second beta! That is a great number!

Talk to you all tomorrow!

Hi all! I got my yesterday and they tell me my due date is March 14! We're keeping it a secret for the first trimester this time and so other than my mom, you're the only gals I can talk to !!!
I have my second Beta tomorrow and am looking forward to a doubling number! My first u/s will not be until July 21, which just seems like prolonged torture. But the good thing is that it is summer and time will fly!

On a less happy note- I am REALLY sick this morning. I'm having these horrific hotflashes and waves of nausea. My head/sinuses are killing me. I've never heard of hot flashes as a pregnancy symptom. Anyone else feel this way? I havent thrown up yet- but I feel like I could any minute.

Here's my update ladies!!! I got to have an ultrasound and we saw the cutiest tiniest little circle (gestational sac) on the screen...omg it was amazing just thinking that there was little life inside there. My OB is great..I really like him!! His wife and him spent 70,000 w/ivf and the doc said they would never get preg afterwards..well 3mths later they got preggo naturally w/their first!! Its so awesome to have a doc that knows exactly what im going through!!

I've been having really bad heartburn..didnt go to work today because I was up from 2:30 until 6:30 on the floor of my bathroom in a cold sweat..the heartburn kept coming in waves..it was awful!!! I've taken some Zantac and some Maalox and I'm alot better now. I've been nauseous all day too..just laying on the couch. This pregnancy is so unlike my other one..I never had any symptoms except sore boobs last time. I've never even had heartburn before this..i had no clue what was happening until I talked to the doc. It was painful!!!

So my next appt is July 28th and he said we will take another peek at the baby and we should see a heartbeat and little arm and leg buds!! He said everytime i come in we will either look at or hear the baby..just to ease my worries.

so there's my update ladies.. hopefully in 4 weeks I'll see a beautiful baby on that ultrasound screen!!

Lacey- Im around Pittsburg/Ft Scott area..about 2 hours South of KC.

Congrats to all w/doubling betas!! Yay!
