Natasha - I've been told by many people that you usually can't see a heartbeat until 6w3d so I think it's probably too early to see those things yet...try not to worry, although I know it is very hard not too. Sending you

Christian I hope you feel better tomorrow.
And Thanks for all the positive thoughts. I know it may be too early to see anything in the ultrasound at 5w4d, but my last two pregnancies I could see everything by this point. So from my own experience is why I am worried. I am still keeping hope. Natasha

Hey there, sorry I haven't been on in a day or two. Work is killing me b/c with being on vacation next week, they are trying to overload me this week!
I called my RE and asked if I could have a 3rd beta right before we go on vacation, sort of a peace of mind thing for me since last one ended in m/c. They said it wasn't necessary b/c my numbers were great but they wouldn't deny assuring me some peace of mind. How awesome! So I go in this Sunday at 9am. I LOVE that they are open 7 days a week and all 7 days are full service days. It's a bit of a drive, about 1.5hrs if traffic is normal but I made it there for beta #1 in 45 minutes so that isn't too bad I guess. Kelly - I am SO sorry. I can't believe your dr was that insensitive! That is just not fair to you. You deserve more than what little they told you. I am so sorry you are going through this. I will keep you in my prayers and pray that God wraps you in His arms and gives you the comfort you need right now. I'm so so sorry. Congrats to all of the newcomers and those who have gotten more beta numbers that are doubling! I have been queasy nonstop but no throwing up so that is a blessing. Every now and then and I have some pulling sensation or maybe light cramping which dr said is normal. No bleeding or spotting so I'm grateful for that. BLOATED is my biggest thing right now. If you didn't know, I might even look 4-5 months along! Maybe the pre-existing belly fat didn't help matters but what can you do, right? I'm just ready for my belly to fill out from the baby and not gas! Anyone else have a stuffy nose but no drainage and what about constipation. I can count on that every morning. Sorry if that is TMI! Nice to see all of the women from TX! Too bad we aren't close enough to meet up for lunch. It's been hard with friends b/c don't have but one that has been through m/c, all others sailed through and can be way too insensitive without even meaning to when talking about pregnancy. For instance, when I told the friends I asked for and will get a 3rd beta, only the one said I understand and hope it goes well. Everyone else asked, why? I thought you were already pregnant? They think that one blood test ensures a full-term pregnancy without a single complication! I have to remind myself that women who haven't experienced a m/c have NO IDEA what it is like and they just CANNOT relate. There are a few exceptions I'm sure b/c some women are just compassionate by nature and those can help comfort you without sounding like they know it all when they don't. Ok, I'm rambling. My parents are coming to stay for a couple of days and while I have told my mom, haven't told my dad yet b/c he blabs really bad without trying. I want to tell him but haven't decided yet or not. I may not be able to get back on until Sunday evening but I can't wait to hear about everything that is going on from all of you!!! TTYL

Happy 4th of July everyone!! Kelly, I'm so sorry to hear that.  and your in my s. So my cramps have pretty much subsided, was wondering if anyone else's was as well. I swear, I get nervous with the cramps I get nervous without them. Can't wait for my beta Monday. I'm such a worrier. But anyways, I hope everyone is having fun today. I'm stuck at work, so that's my excitement.

Hope everyone had a nice 4th! My family is here and we went to go see the boston fireworks, which was fun.
I am feeling pretty well...the cramps have gone for the most part with the occasional one. I am just so thankful for each day that is progressing right now! Have a great rest of the weekend!

My cramps are pretty much gone too. My last pregnancy I cramped every day all day long w/out any spotting and I just knew that wasnt right..I'm so thankful that this time my cramping has eased off. One more day and I'm at the 6 week mark!!! I cant believe its going fast already!!

Hey girls how are you all feeling? Well we are finally pregnant after almost 2 yrs of ttc and 3 failed iui's. My RE has my EDD for March 4th but will find out when I have my U/S either July 14th when I go for my first prenatal or on Tues the 15th with the RE. Look forward to chatting with you girls throughout our pregnancies.

Yay Colee! Glad that you have joined us! It's exciting to have such a great group of people on this thread! I had a little cramping today, but not for very long...I hear that is just the uterus expanding! I was excited to hit the 5 week mark yesterday...I am thankful for each day this baby grows! Hope you are all enjoying your holiday weekend!

You know what..I have to eat my words on the cramping part too..I had some moderate cramping for an hour tonight..it was just in one spot though..not really all over..weird huh?
I'm so excited to be 6 weeks tomorrow!! I cant get my two tickers to match up though..driving me nuts. no matter what I do the lafemme ticker counts a day ahead..frustrating. I think it might be something w/having a leap year this year because BabyGaga tickers do the same thing..only lilypie doesnt. since i'm due on March 1st thats why i think it might be something w/leap year?? hello girls! just thought i would join this group! just found out on 7/3 that i'm
so i'm still cautiously excited!has anyone's dr said what to do and what not to do??? i just want to make sure i'm doing the right thing! any hints for me? the only thing my doctor said was not to get my heart rate up and don't start anything i've never done before. thanks!!

Holly- congrats and welcome!! Umm my OB said exercising is fine just stay away from ab crunches and anything that bounces you..the only meds I can take are Mylanta, Maalox, Zantac, Prilosec, Tylenol, Bendadryl,robitussin.. No hair coloring, highlighting..swimming only in chlorinated pools, no hot tubs or heating pads...umm i think thats about it LOL

Hi everyone! I'm trying not to get panicky but we leave for Hawaii at 1pm on Tues and between Mon/Tues @ work, I have to put in 16 hours! Yikes! So today is about laundry and pre-packing as much as I possibly can! Still gotta give my dog a bath and water the garden but there are only so many hours in a day right?
I had beta #3 this morning and it was 1,464! I was very pleased b/c it gave me such peace of mind right before the trip. Today is 19dpiui so maybe I still have a shot at twins? What do you think? I am so glad that the numbers increased by leaps and bounds b/c I wanted to be able to not worry about how everything is going on in there while on vacation! I will still worry but hopefully not as much! Well, I gotta get back to work so I hope all of you have a wonderful week. I don't know if I will have time to get back on before we leave. If not, I will try to catch up with the board either the day we get back or a day or so after, so July 14th or shortly thereafter. Take care everyone!

 Holly!!Tina&will- I'm so jealous of your trip. Have a great time for me as well. How was everyone's 4th? Mine was ok, even though at work. Went to my folks this weekend though and was able to tell my brother and dad about being . They were both thrilled, of course. I go for my 3rd beta tomorrow and getting nervous. Like I said in my last post, my cramps have greatly decreased. But this weekend I had them off and on, but nothing crazy. So I'm praying our little bean is growing right on schedule. Hope everyone is feeling great.

Hi Everyone! Glad to hear everyone is doing well! Good luck on the beta today, Lacey! I just dropped my parents off at the airport after a long weekend visit from them. It's always sad to see them go. I'm now back at work...I sure like not working!
I have my first ultrasound on wednesday, so looking forward to that. Tina - have a great vacation! I am totally jealous. I have never been to Hawaii but hear it is great!Had minimal cramping this weekend and my stomach is definitely a little off this morning, but nothing major. Oh, and I am exhausted! Have a great rest of the day everyone!
