The blue we picked for the nursery is called Enchantment and it's a Glidden paint. DH picked the super washable flat per the suggestion of the paint guy at Home Depot! I love the color. It's a great nursery blue, not too dark, but not too baby-powder-blue.

Good luck Barbara, let us know how the appt goes.
I passed my GTT which is great and surprisng because I have had quite the sweet tooth. Other lab results were not as good. I am becoming anemic despite the high dose of Iron I am on. Also my thyroid is not working again. During the process with my RE we got my underactive thyroid at a good level, it was very bad to begin with. I had it checked last at 16 weeks and it was fine, now at 28 weeks it is not working. I am scared to death, what does this mean for the babies?They are upping my dose again but what damage did it cause?

Hi ladies! I had a lot of catching up to do. I have been down with the flu but am finally feeling better. The nursery pictures are so cute. My dh put our 2nd crib together over the weekend. We still need the 2nd mattress. I'll get a pic posted when we get things a little more together.
I haven't been telling my appointments because there have just been so many of them. Because of baby Chance's heart, I do get a u/s every time I go to the specialist which is every two weeks now. Both babies are still measuring fine.
We got to the cardiologist on the 22nd of this month, and back to the specialist on the 27th. I am just seeing the fetal specialist now rather than the specialist and my OB-Gyn. I had to cut one of those appts out. It was getting to be too much.
Oh, and my bday is tomorrow! 33. And my anniversary with dh is Saturday the 24th- it's our 2nd year of marraige!!! :-)
Happy MLK day! Everyone stay warm! Hang in there, we are getting closer and closer to snuggling our little sweet-tarts!!!

Susan - Glad to see you. Ugh, the flu must have been miserable! I'm glad you are feeling better. I'm at about the same stage as you. We have one crib set up, but the other is still in the box. Happy early birthday and anniversary! Do you have any plans?
Amybeth - I love your nursery, it's coming together!
Audra - I think you asked where I found the chair cheaper, it was at a local mom and pop type furniture store, and the brand is "Best Chairs". You can google the brand and get to their web-site and they will find the store that is closest to you. Of course, it was on sale when I saw it, so only going back will tell if it's still the same price.
Lauren - I think I must have missed a post by you, is your BP running high? Mine has been higher than it normally was when I was not pregnant.

HI Thread sisters..Thanks for asking..

Yes, OB did answer some of my questions. He seemed kind of mad because I am not taking the BH serious. When I told him I get them for hours & every 5 mins.
He wants me to go to the hosp. He wants to slow them down. With twins I can start dilating really fast.
So I had to promise him that if it happens again I will call and go to L&D. ( I guess I will spending 2 or 3 nights at the hosp. because that how often it happens)
He wants me to be on modified bed rest. UUGGGHHH
because I really do nothing as it is. So now I have to do less, I didnt think that was possible.
He did do the swab test to see if I am in pre-labor. The results will be back tomorrow. He said cervix looks good.
I go back to him on Feb 9. Both babies are head down. He said my goal will be to make it to 34 weeks.
He will stop the contractions up to 34 weeks after that he wont.
The GD test wasnt back yet...

Barbara- I"m glad your OB told you to get your booty into L&D! It really can happen fast. (preterm labour in twin preg.) My SIL thought all was well until she ended up on the OR table for a c-sec at barely 34 weeks. Apparently, what felt fine to her, was actually her dialating. Keep those babies in there as long as possible, no matter what! I'm rooting for ya!!

Barbara-Do what you can for those babies, I know you will. Modified bedrest is not bad AT ALL!I know it seems like you are doing nothing but if you have to be put on strict bedrest you will really go crazy. 34 weeks is not that far. I am sure you fFN will be negative. Glad your cervix looks good that is very important.

Twin mommies-Has your OB talked about when they would want to induce you or how far they will let you go? Also have they mentioned vaginal or c-section? Baby A is head down and Baby B is transverse and they want me to try vaginal. That is fine but I really do not want to do both She said she would induce me at 37 weeks but thinks I will only make it to 34 weeks.
