Audra: You were a busy lady with all your posts!!!

With the BRU coupons, when we went to register they gave us a member card (like the ones you get a CVS or the grocery stores). They scan it each time we make a purchase and said that they will send you rewards coupons periodically. I just looked online and they call it Rewards R Us! You can request one at any time (not just when you register) at their service desk, or online.

Although... I should have read the fine print, as it looks like they have certain periods where you get all the rewards points... I'll have to read more.

https://rewardsrus.toysrus.com/index.cfm

I'm glad to hear you are doing well. You and I have a lot in common. Getting dizzy with the glucose, lots of ultrasounds, not a whole lot of measuring going on, and I get to do the fetal nonstress tests every week starting week 32 also! But I found at my OB's office they put you in a comfy room with this super squishy leather recliner, along with a TV and/or magazines/books so you can just relax. I'm trying to think positively and that it will be fun to hear the little one's heartbeat for so long!!!

on saving money....

Amybeth - I have been having problems with BRUS. I signed up for the rewards r us program. I'm supposed to be getting $20 in reward bucks, but I haven't received it yet. You accumulate $5 for every 150 you spend, but only during certain time periods. So starting Feb 1st again, you can accumulate them. My problem is the bucks expire on Jan 31st, and no one seems to know where mine are. Of course, everytime I call, I get the run around. So we'll see if I ever get my bucks or not. Anyone else have this problem?
Patricia - If you don't mind me asking does the coupon you found for Gymboree have a "code" on it that can be used online by anyone, or is it something that can only be redeemed in the store. If it's a code will you share?!

Silly question... does anyone have a High Efficiency washer where it says you should only use detergent that says it's "high efficiency" (he)? We have a "Cabrio he" and the other day I was trying to find Dreft in a 'he' formula, and couldn't. I'm concerned about using Tide on the baby's clothes, but I also don't want to do any damage to our washer by using the wrong type of detergent. Anyone have any advice?

Amy - I read someone else who was wondering the same thing. I guess the dreft bottle supposedly says do not use in HE machines, or something... I don't really like the way dreft smells, so I bought Tide Free HE. No scent or dyes. That's what I'm going with for now, as I haven't heard anything bad about it....

I also have and HE washer. The thing with HE washers is they produce less suds and normal detergents will produce alot of suds if you used in a HE washer.
I use ECOs which is cheaper than tide but also doesn't break out my children's sensitive skin and it is more earth friendly. It is a fairly gentle detergent. You can find it at Caputo's and Meijer.

We also have an HE washer but we don't have dreft here and I have heard it smells something awful anyways...no personal opinions though. LOL. We just went and looked for a scent free, dye free HE washing detergent. I think Dove has one...if it's dove...I can't remember...lol.

Wow. My baby brain is kicking in big time. I never thought of just using the scent/dye free detergents! Someone drilled it into my brain that I needed to use Dreft (I'm sure it was a baby magazine of some sorts). I'm glad I asked you guys! Thanks for the great advice (as always).

Good Afternoon Ladies, hope all is going well, I am too far behind to try to catch up. All is well on my end, my OB is watching my blood sugars and Valerie's weight very carefully. I have to see him once a week now until I deliver. Last week he did an US and she looks perfect. However, she is already 1 week and 4 days too big. I have another US on Wednesday 1/28 and then he will start weekly non-stress tests on 2/5. When we saw him last week he told us I "would be lucky to make it to 38 weeks." Like a dummy I didn't ask him what he meant so this week when I saw his NP I asked her what she thought he meant. She informed me that he wants to closely monitor Valerie's weight and will consider inducing as I get closer to my due date if waiting until my due date will mean that I have to have a C-section to deliver safely.

I did get to read that some of you would like to see my wedding pics. I have posted them on a share site on shutter fly. I am opening it up so that you all can see them for a week and then I'm going to re-secure the site. Hope you enjoy. Here is the link: Shutterfly

Glad to hear everything is going along smoothly. Your wedding was absolutely beautiful. I loved all the lighting and trees in the background.

Sue- What a beautiful bride! I loved all of the beautiful trees on the altar. It looked like everyone had a great time!

Mnm- The Gymboree coupons have different codes on the back of each one. I used it at the store and used my other one online.

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I just got in from what I believe is my last concert for a LONG time. I had fun but I am so exhausted! My baby girl was kicking up a storm with all of the music!

which concert? I love going to concerts - haven't gone to anything in a while...I secretly want to see Britney Spears lol

HE washers - I'll use the "free and clear" whatever stuff - I did the whole Dreft thing with my first, and whoever said it stinks is right, I couldn't use it!

Off to BRU - must start getting prepared - only have the pack and play - I need to figure out what carseat I want, bouncy chair and might stock up on size 1 pampers (buy three and get a 15.00 gift card)

No formula yet - I would hate to stock up and then there would be an issue that I would have to change types.

I know I have 9 weeks but in 5 weeks, I will seriously be on lockdown and not doing anything - I made it to 37 with my first and that was scary - I would love to go to 39 weeks with no worries

Hi ladies! What a weekend.

Sue- you're wedding pics are pretty! Congrats!!

My dh got babtized this weekend, his mom got baptized on Thursday. This weekend was my 2 yr anniversary w/dh, and I passed my HR certification exam (the PHR if anyone knows what that is). And, all my friends surprised me w/a bday party last night. I couldn't ask for a better weekend than that! I'm paying for all of the activity though. My feet and ankles are swollen big. They usually go down over the weekend but I didn't spend much time resting so I'm really going to pay for it this week.

I've now gained 37 lbs. If you don't mind my asking.....what have all of the twin mommies gained? I feel like that's a lot!!
