Burping (uuugh!), short little waves of nausea (so far), and breast tenderness. All pretty typical for me thus far. But I suspect the real morning sickness will hit in another 5-7 days, and then I will be nearly incapacitated -- yes, I get it that bad. (I have four other children from a previous life, so I speak from experience).

My second beta is tomorrow. No one warned me that the wait -- and praying to see the numbers jump -- was nearly as tough as the first 2ww!

Our bean count is on the 19th.

Babyobaby, that makes me so happy that you guessed girl for me! OF COURSE I will be thrilled with either, but I do have one boy and a girl would be nice. DH kind of wants a girl too!

How is everyone feeling? I am trying my best to calm down. I was talking to one of my best friends tonight and she asked how I was doing. I told her I'm just trying to relax and not be scared that something is going to happen. She said "Your mom wouldn't let that happen to you." I realized she was right. My mom passed away on March 16 of this year. I was originally supposed to be in the middle of a cycle then, but we got postponed. Now, I'm realizing that my due date will be a couple of weeks after the one year anniversary of her death. Of course this has been a little hard not being able to share this with her. When I told my dad he kept saying how happy she would be. I know that she's looking over me and she wouldn't let anything happen to our baby.

I hope everyone else is feeling good!

I would love to have an Easter baby! That would be the sweetest thing in the world as far as I'm concerned. And you know what? I know I haven't had my bean count or anything yet, but when the RE called and told me that my beta number meant it's probably a singleton, I turned to my husband and said, "And it's a boy. I really feel it's a boy in there!"

So you probably pegged me exactly right. Okay here are my *early* guesses:

babyohbaby: 2, maybe three... girl, boy... maybe another boy
Curlgirl: girl
Notchicken: boy
Angel: I don't know why, but I'm thinking girl *and* boy... but girl is my first guess.

Angela/curlgirl -- I'm tired but not exhausted; by this time next week, however, I expect to be dead on my feet. That's pretty much on course for a pregnancy. And I'm still waiting for the morning sickness to kick in. I've never had a miscarriage and see no reason why I should have one this time, but the idea (maybe from reading everything on these boards?) keeps worrying me. I'll feel happier when I see some more beta numbers.

I'm hoping for a girl but if I have another boy, we will have LOTS of matchbox cars

Tomorrow is my third beta and hopefully I will be scheduled for an u/s soon

Curlgirl503, I totally think that your friend is right - as sad as it is that your mother isn't here, she is with you all the time.

DH wants a girl, I'd like a boy first. If it's twins, we'd like one of each or two girls. For some reason we are in agreement that two boys would be too hard on us. But we will definately take whatever the good Lord blesses us with, after our TTC history and life history in general.

I'm just so overjoyed that this is really happening.

You know, I almost wrote that, but I didn't want to diminish anything that anyone has gone through (not that you did). I really think, that as great as this board is, it makes me paranoid sometimes seeing what some girls have gone through. But I feel the same way, I've never miscarried, so I really have no reason to think I will. I've calmed down a little. I can't wait for my u/s on Monday!

I get to join the April board! I haven't gotten a due date from my Dr yet, but I think it will be April 17th or 18th. I don't know when my first us will be yet either, but I am already anxious for that to happen! We are really hoping for a boy and a girl, but we will be happy with whatever we get! I can't tell if I have any symptoms yet (other than cramping) because the pain from OHSS is so bad that that is all I notice!
