I guess pants would be out, it would have to be more of a gown/dress so that they could check things out on healing? What is everyone else planning on wearing/packing? Like, bras, underwear, and outfit to wear home...?

I wore the hospital issue gown for the first two days. It was easiest as changing would have been too much work and they were still checking flow and incision at that time. When I finally could go see the babies in ICN I put on PJ pants and left on their gown, but put my robe over top. The third day in the afternoon I changed into my own night gown. (I think the nursing ones are a waste of money now that I know. I always take off my top to nurse because the blasted thing will get in the way anyways! lol. Anyways, that's what I did! Oh and I went home in a regular shirt and PJ pants. It was days before I could wear jeans after my section. lol

Last night went really well. We took turns feeding the baby and getting sleep. He took a good amount for me at 5 oclock and now DH is feeding him while I pump.

Good luck today Patricia!

I'm super busy today. Seems like I have lots of pressure at work to finish my projects before I go on maternity leave. I'll have to try and catch up with the happening later .

Have a nice day ladies .

Sue I'm glad they mostly got it past you!! Sounds like such fun.

Amy Love the ring - nice choice.

Shawna Congrats on bringing Jesse home ! I'm sorry you had to leave Layne in the hospital . Hopefully he'll come home soon.

AS far as bumpers - thanks for bringing that up. I haven't really thought much about it. I have a bumper since I'm using my ds's set... I'll prob forgo using it though just to be safe.

As far as after the birth wear - I usually wear the hospital gown so I don't ruin my good PJs if I bleed through (which I usually do - Yuck!) but I wear my own robe over it as well as my own slippers for those trips down the hall or around the room. As far as an outfit to go home in - I'll prob wear some smaller maternity pants or lose lounge pants and a top of some kind.

I bought take home outfits for the baby which are soo cute - one boy and one girl! I even packed them in my hospital bag and am almost completely packed - something I was procrastinating about. I also bought a girl's Easter dress which I love. I'm going to have my M-i-l pick up a boy's Eater outfit.
What is everyone doing regarding Easter/ passover outfits for the baby/ babies?
I know that I could reuse the going home outfit but there are so many cute things that I couldn't resist.

Paticia!? Were you at the Perinatologist today? I *just* got home from there. I'm wondering if it was you that I was holding up with my extra long NST that wasn't going great.

Stephanie- I did just get home from there! You were probably in the room right next to me! My first appt was with Chris at 9:40am then up to Dr.Periera at 10:30 but I didn't go back until 11:15am and by the time I had my NST and OB visit it was after 1 pm when I took the tram back down! What a day! He thinks I may deliver in no more than 3 or 4 weeks.

OMG how funny. I got there at 10:30 and was in the NST room until after 1pm myself. The baby's HB was dipping a little bit and we weren't sure why. So I ended up being on that thing for so long.
So crazy that we were both there at the same time.

OMG 3 or 4 weeks! You're almost there!

Audra, I got a really cute outfit from Target for Baby's first Easter. It's a onesie and pants. The pants have little Easter Bunnies for the feet and a tail in the back. I also got a little hat that has a bunny face and ears. SO cute!

Mary Kay, I hope you feel better!

I've been battling a cold, sinus, I don't know what it is, for awhile now.

We got a foot of snow yesterday/last night. Feeling like crap and being almost 36 weeks pregnant, I had to go play in the snow with DS! It's amazing what we do for our children!

Don't feel bad about not posting. You're doing exactly what you're supposed to be doin'. And in that, you're doing so well! I'm sorry you're feeling poopy but you really should be so proud of how far you've carried these girls.

Angela - you are a better woman than me - playing outside in the snow with a cold and being pregnant!!! Your son has a great mom! I hope you get to feeling better.

MaryKay - Good to hear from you! It sounds like you are getting closer and closer to delivery day! Are you still on the anti-contraction meds? When do you stop those?

It sounds like everyone is getting packed and ready to go to the hospital! Audra - What fun, buying and outfit for each gender! You are getting to close to meeting your little one!

I have my normal Tuesday trip to the OB with a NST. I hope my BP stays under control. I'm also hoping that I get some idea from my OB about a "plan". I dont know at this point if my ob is thinking c-section or not, and if I get to some point if she'll actually schedule it... I know anything could happen between now and then, but I guess I'm just curious and getting antsy.

Thanks for the nice words
Maggie-Wouldn't it be great to have a c-section date?! I am done with the meds, nothing has changed though.
I am sooooo irritated. These last few weeks I have been eating less and less.I feel like I have pretty much starved myself this last week.I had an appt on Friday and I weighed myself today too(btw,I weighed myself on my own scale Friday too) and I have gained 5 lbs.HOW? My BP is fine, should I be worried?
As far as the rash,I am taking some benadry until tomorrow when she can look at it.It sucks so bad!!!!!
