Wow! Lot's of appointments today! Good luck ladies and let us know how things went and when your next appointments are!

Thanks for the positive comments on my picture. I am feeling very large and hope to not get much bigger. My maternity clothes are starting to get a tad tight!

I will not be able to get the pics of the photoshoot up until tomorrow. I thought I would scan them and then post them but they are in an album. My husband knows how to do it without taking them out of the album so I'll leave that to him.

Have a wonderful Monday!

Hugs

Is it bad not to want to go to my appointment today?
I just feel so big. The girls were rolling around a lot last night and this morning= less sleep. My Dh is so funny. I think the longer it takes me to fall asleep, the sooner he does. I was complaining about my side/sciatic/pregnancy to a sleeping husband. I felt so silly. Even my cats weren't listening since they were asleep.
Only 4 weeks left!!!!!

Oh gosh so much to catch up from the weekend!!

Amy Thanks for the comment about my story - I still think it's hysterical! So sorry that your dh had another business trip. It's so hard being so close to delivery and not having them there. Love the name - William was the name of my third ds and b/c of that is a very precious name to me. Nice touch to use your maiden name as the middle - I love keeping family traditions. Hope that whatever it is with your fibroid that it isn't a big deal...

Scarlet Great picture. I agree with the earlier comment about your clothes - they're always so cute! You look great! Can't wait to see the pics you had taken!

Viki I know - the discomfort is getting pretty bad! I get pain from sitting, pain from standing and pain from lying down!! Can't win!! Yesterday we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and by the end I was in such pain. Of course we had a time getting the check and by the time we got out of there I was in agony!!

makenalelu Congratulations on your !!

Lauren ugh the pink eye and illness sound horrible. Hopefully you'll start to feel better soon with the antibiotics. Did they give you drops for your eyes?

Mary Kay I'm so sorry about your friend but I'm glad to hear that the babies are doing OK. Can't believe your 35 weeks! I gotta hand it to you twin mommies - impressive!! I packed my bag already and got mad at dh b/c he took some stuff out of it (he thinks it was OK b/c he was out of clean underwear and socks ) - I told him once it goes in the bag it's in the vault!!

Maggie I know - it can be so hard to watch someone else do things and not step in! Hope you had a good visit with your friends and are able to rest today.

Well afm I think I forgot to mention that at my appt last Thursday the Dr told me that the baby is breech again!! The baby was breech but as of my 32 week us was head down. I did think that the pressure down there had eased a bit while I had developed an uncomfortable pain under my ribs... The pain under my ribs is his/ her head! I still have a few weeks . DH and both boys put the crib together yesterday. The boys were adorable - really into helping. Ah men and puting things together - it starts early . Tonight they might get the basinet together which the boys are looking forward to. There's still quite a bit to do - I'm getting a little nervous. It'll get done though - I just need to relax about it.

I am sorry the baby is breech again,I almost said him,I think it is a boy!It is not too late to turn. That is hilarious about your hospital bag.I am the same way.Do not touch it once it is in there. I even went and bought extra toothbrushes and such so I would not have to add anything to my bag.Poor guys.lol
BTW,Rash is confirmed that it is PUPPPS ,as it spreads all over my body. What have you done to get relief Lauren?Good news, I just got a call and my OB appt is now on Wednesday and we may schedule a c-section

Twin Moms - Does Mel/ Melli Mel post on the twin moms thread? I ask b/c I know her from another thread and I just heard that she posted on my space that she's on br. Haven't heard from her in a while...

Mary Kay So sorry about the Pupps. Sounds awful! I bought new toiletries too so they could stay in the bag - after he raided the bag I bought some new socks and underwear for me (socks we needed and I needed granny panties for after the birth since bikini uw doesn't really have enough room for the giant pads). Sure hope you can set the c-section! It's been such a long road for you with the br and everything.

Oh Mary Kay! I'm so sorry you're so miserable. My Dh has MADE me stip scratching the darn stuff and it is going away very SLOWLY.! I KNOW that not scratching is impossible all the time. The warm baths with the Aveeno oatmeal when it got really bad did help while I was in the tub. I used an over-the counter cortisone creme. I was also scolded ALOT for scratching My belly is clear. I have a few bumps on my arms. From what I ascertained from the internet. All these "cures" really just depend on the individual. I'm thinking about you!!

Amybeth: that's really strange about your fibroid...tell us what the doc says.

PS everybody: pregnant women should NOT watch "A Baby Story" I just watched two episodes and sobbed like a lunatic.

I went to the doc, all is well. I was complaining a lot this time and she just said everything was pregnancy related and if I wanted physical therapy for my back. I was like, I barely can get here to see you . I think I made that face too. She keeps saying that I look good and that she has patients that are soooo much bigger than me. If I started out at 120lbs then I understand how they gained 60/70lbs but I started out a WHOLE lot bigger.

Scarlet, I love your picture. I even tried to make the same pose in the bathroom but I had on a fitted shirt and stretchy pants. I need classier clothes. Dh asked me why I wore such a tight shirt today at my appointment. He is so used to my super big pregnancy clothes. I told him, when I bought it, it wasn't tight. It felt nice on the belly because it is made up of super stretchy material.

I thought I had Pupps yesterday, I was scratching my arms, legs, and feet. It went away by evening but I was scared. My list of complaints is long enough.
I hope you ladies with it feel better and stay itchy free.

Hey guys.
Sorry about you itchy chicks. I cannot imagine having to deal with THAT in addition to all of the other normal aches, pains, and probs.

Well, I got to meet Cupcake this weekend in our birth class! She's beautiful and her DH is awesome. We ate pizza afterward and discussed important things like TV shows and politics lol. It was great. I'll leave it to Patricia to write about our class. There were a couple of funny moments...mostly from one couple who seemed to be fixated on toilet-births bwah!

AFM, I'm still going to the OB two or three times a week. Slightly elevated BP and a big little girl makes for tons of visits.

J So sorry you're feeling so crummy. I'm only pregnant with 1 and I'm getting pretty uncomfortable - can't imagine twins!

Stephanie That's awesome that you and Patricia got to meet! Toilet births??? Strange

I'm so excited - my favorite show is on tonight. Medium. Anyone else watch it? I'm prob the only one (in the world ) that doesn't watch American Idol.

Hi everyone. Just a quick check in to let everyone know I'm ok. I found out the numbness I'm experiencing is somewhat common and seems to be due to the stretching. I'll confirm that with my OB tomorrow though.

I found out DH is coming home on an earlier flight than I thought! He leaves DC at 2pm eastern, which means hopefully he'll be home when I get home from the OB's office! I thought his flight was later in the evening, so this made me smile!

Toilet births... oh the images that's putting in my head right now...!

On that happy note, I'm off to bed... or at least to try to sleep. As much as I get irritated that I can't sleep well and that DH can sleep through anything (he seriously slept through the tornado sirens outside and the dog howling along with the sirens one night last summer!), it seems weird to not have him here so I think I actually slept worse than normal, if that's at all possible!!!

Night everyone!

OB Appt

My doctor's appt. went well. Blaine once again ran from the doppler and the nurse looked irritated that he wouldn't stay put for her.
It took until today to get them to order the steroids so, after a late appt. with the OB I headed to hospital to get the shot. It finally showed up 2 hours later which means I will have to go back tomorrow at 8:20pm for the second dose. Grr!
Blood pressure was awesome 118/70 and my cervix is unchanged so, hopefully I will be able to carry for a few more weeks.

To the ladies with PUPPS. I feel for you. Somehow, I managed to escape this one but, I have skin problems all the time and end up with rashes. They can make you miserable.
