Deanna: I'm glad to hear your cervix hasn't changed and that you were able to get the steroid shots (at least the first set yesterday!)... Be careful driving in all this rain today!
Mary Kay: hope your appointment goes well today! I'm so happy that you have made it so far past your goal of 34 weeks! Lauren: good luck today too! To everyone else, I hope you have a wonderful day! I put a list of questions together for my OB this time as for some reason I seem to forget what I want to ask when I get there! This time I'm going to print it out and go through them one by one. Baby brain has definitely sunk in, some times more than others!!! I'll log on later tonight to let you all know how my appointment went! ![]()

Deanna I'm so glad that you finally got the sterolid shot. That's annoying that you have to go back so late for the second dose. That's great that your cervix didn't change.
Amy I'm glad that the numbness seems to be common and nothing serious. I can't sleep when dh is gone either. Plus, I can't nap b/c there's too much coming and going with the boys - at least when dh is home I know I won't miss a pick up, he's my human alarm clock lately. On one of his trips he got home and within the hour I fell asleep sitting up in the livingroom. Mary Kay sorry you didn't get much sleep - I so hate the sleep deprivation fog! GL Amy, Mary Kay, and Lauren!

Hi ladies,I am back.I am so glad I have an OB appt tomorrow.Baby B is not growing as well.A was 5lb13oz and B was 4lb10oz.They said depending what happens next week,36w4d,we may deliver. He also looked at my rash and said it may also be Cholestasis, which is a liver condition, which would also warrant for an early delivery because of the increase in stillbirth.I hope I get those results soon.I am in tears,I want to keep up for the babies but never in my life have I felt so miserable. I guess we will see what the OB says but the MFM sounds like he doesn't want to wait until 37 weeks. I can not bear the thought of another week of this but I have to be strong for the girls.

You have been thru so much with this pregnancy. I know you would love to carry the girls for as long as possible but, sometimes are bodies say otherwise. Just remember that you have done everything within in your power to give these girls a great start in life. You have stayed on bedrest and the girls have had the steroids for lung maturity. Here is a little good news. I had a beautiful baby girl at 36 weeks 17 years ago. She weighed 5lbs 4 oz at birth and came home the next day. There is quite a few studies that say twins mature faster than singletons you have done a great job. I also just had this talk about preterm delivery with my MFM. He said that there is very little difference in babies born after 34 weeks and full term. A little TLC and they do fine. I hope your rash turns out to just be PUPPS but, if not you have done such a great job...the girls will do great!

Wow, lots going on over here ... I can barely keep up. Please check the appointments and needing special thoughts sections to make sure I have them right
.We're getting down to the wire ladies. I have been having a bit of cramping the last few days but Sydney is quite active so I'm not feeling worried. I hope we put her basinett together tonight. We're still a bit slow on the back packing so we have to get on that one. To the girls suffering with the scratching stuff, hang in there. I feel for you. I think we all feel a bit worked right about now. We're doing great and the finish line is in sight. Have a wonderful day ladies ![]() ![]()

Quick Update - I didn't get to read everyone's news.
I'm in the hospital. I was admitted last night. I had a headache and naseau all day yesterday, but my bp was doing okay, until about 3:30 and it was high 150/95. My OB wanted me to go to the hospital immediately. Anyway, tests and the boys look good. My BP has come back down. We don't know if the headache is truly from BP/pre-e or a sinus headache/virus. Even Lortab isn't killing it. No plans for delivery, but I'm in the slammer (oh, I mean hospital) for a couple days at least of monitoring. Take care everyone. They are coming in to monitor the babies. I'll check in later.

Scarlet- Happy to hear your little Sydney is so active. You are so right about just focusing on the finish line!
MaryKay- I am so sorry you are so miserable. I was just telling my DH how so impressed I am by all the twin mommies on this thread and how strong all of you are. Hang in there sweetie! Deanna- Great news on the unchanged cervix. About the NST, my baby makes a run away from the monitor almost every time the nurse leaves the room. The nurse ended up sitting with me this last visit to just get 20 minutes. Lauren & Amy- Best of luck for great appointments today! As for me... Stephanie & I did actually meet and got to spend a good part of the weekend together. She and her husband are so sweet and I am bummed we didn't meet earlier in the pregnancies! I am not sure if you know the coincidence but we did go to the same doctor for our IVF and now go to the same group of perinatologists. The class itself was Saturday & Sunday for 5 hours each day. The teacher was a L&D nurse and had managed the floor for 10 years so she really knew her stuff. There was only 7 couples so we really got to know our classmates pretty well. That being said it was VERY obvious that one couple in general needed the class more than the rest of us. The questions that came from them were actually scary. Like asking if the hospital actually would be with them for a toilet birth. They also asked if the placenta could be yanked out by the umbilical cord. During the C Section video they thought it would be a great idea to heat up their lunch that had a REALLY pungent & off-putting smell and eat loudly while we sat in the tiny conference room. Sorry- I actually had to leave the room to get sick because I couldn't handle it. I still have issues with smells even this late in my pregnancy. I think Stephanie & I agree that we felt that the teacher had to dumb down some info because of this couple and much of what she covered became very basic instead of more high level. They were in my breastfeeding class last night and were eating their dinner as well... thankfully only sandwiches. The class was great and I loved the instructor. She didn't sugarcoat that it might be tough but I felt okay that the hospital has so many lactation consultants to help out. My DH and I are looking forward to meeting up again with Steph & her DH. We had a great time getting to know them over dinner the Sunday night. My appointment yesterday was pretty basic, typical OB, NST and they did the Strep B. I don't have to go in again until next Monday. If my US looks like the baby is still on the low side of normal he said he would induce me either on the 17th or 18th as this would indicate that my placenta was kind of done doing its thing to the best of its ability. If it looks fine then i wait to see what goes on the Monday following. Of course he is out of town from March 19-24 so I see another OB from his group. He does not want me to go beyond the 38th week so either way it is coming up fast. Yikes! I can't believe it.

I'm back from a party at my work. It's so funny: all my co0workers saw me and said that it looks to them that i"m going to have a baby any day, because my tumme is much lower now, that means baby is more down.
I hope I'm not, because i'm only 33,5 weeks But... I had my first baby at 36 weeks 9 lb, my second at 37 weeks 9lb10oz and my third at 37 weeks 9lb11oz. I guess this baby is also an early one
