Hi guys! I haven't posted in a few days, but I've been reading and I'm thinking about all of you! Still worried about Susan...

Scarlet, your pictures are gorgeous! You can see how happy you guys are!

Everyone, hang in there. I know it's getting hard, but we will have our babies soon! I can't believe I'll be "full term" tomorrow! I have an appt. today and I guess he'll check me to see if I've dialated yet. We may schedule my induction date just to have it.

Lauren, I was laughing because DS was on me yesterday. I still had snowman stuff up (hey, it was still applicable last week when it snowed!) and I was so sick of looking at it. I was in our storage space pulling boxes out and grunting. I know, stupid. My poor 9 year old was probably scared I was going to go into labor. He kept asking if I needed help (from his nice comfy seat on the couch playing video games!), and saying, "Why don't you wait until daddy gets home?". We all know how it is though, you get a bug up your butt to do something and you want it done NOW darn it! Granted, I'm not on BR, but it was definitly something I should have not been doing at almost 37 weeks pregnant by myself.

Have a good day sisters!

Thanks for the warning. I am definitely hiding my belly. I was going to escape the house today but it is 18 degrees right now. I just can't do that temperature today. So I will be on house arrest another day . On the positive note, there is a mom of multiples resale this Saturday. I am trying to buy some equipment for the girls there. I am probably going to eventually end up with three strollers so hopefully I can pick up a snap n go and a moderately priced regular double stroller. I want to save up and buy a really nice jogging stroller so I want the others to be used. Who knows, I might get really lucky.

Scarlet, your belly is precious. I want pictures now.
You guys look so happy.

mnm00, sorry you are hospital bound. I hope that you keep the babies in as long as possible. I am glad you have internet and can keep us posted.

amybeth, take it easy at work today!!!!!

Scarlet- Your pictures are beautiful. I really love the belly shot...it turned out awesome!

Audra- I do feel better now that the steroids are on board.

Maggie- I am hoping that you make it to your goal of 35 weeks. Take it easy and I hope they spring you soon.

AmyBeth- Blocking out the time will be good, even if you don't leave early then it will give you the option to finish out your day with a bit less stress.

ASFM: I had the best sleep I have had in months. The baby was resting comfortably last night and managed to move up a bit off my bladder. I only got to the bathroom 3 times! I didn't have any contractions thru the night either. I so needed those hours of uninterrupted sleep.

Hey everybody! I am SO sorry I haven't been on here in so long. I have a lot of catching up w/everyone to do!
I got admitted to the hospital on 2/10/09 w/preeclampsia which eventually started going into HELLP syndrome. They kept trying to keep from having to deliver the babies because of Chance needing the surgery when he's born. They finally couldn't wait any longer and I had a C-section on the morning of 3/4/09. Taylor came out at 10:32am at 6lb 2 oz and Chance was born 2 minutes later at 4lb 5 oz. I got to kiss Chance's sweet face and then he was taken to NICU where he remains. They are wanting him to gain another 1.5lbs before they will do surgery so it could be a few weeks before they do it. He is stable, breathing on his own but basically just lays there. The most he does is make a few faces.
Taylor came home with me on the 7th and she is doing fine. She's not gaining the weight that they want her too yet but they are going to check on her again Friday. I may have to switch from breast milk to formula due to the higher calories for her.
Please keep praying for Chance!! He is so pitiful.
I'm going to do a lot of reading to catch up on what I've missed with you all!
XOXOXOXO

It is so awesome that Taylor got to come home with you. I hope that Chance won't be to far behind but, it sounds like he is doing well.
Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Susan: I am praying for your sweet Chance! I am also praying that Taylor just continues to gain that weight. I know you want to keep breastfeeding! I am so proud of you guys!

Scarlet: I'm needing to get some pictures done now! Yours are so precious. I love the simple belly shots.

Didn't sleep well last night. Feeling a bit cruddy today. But it's sunny outside and 75 degrees. So I cannot complain.

Wow, so much to catch up on! Susan, so glad to hear from you - congratulations! Keeping you and your babies in my thoughts and hoping that Chance can come home with you soon.

I got a text message from Barbara this morning. She's still in the hospital (going crazy she says!), and the doctors will finally stop her meds next Tuesday. If baby b is still transverse, they will probably do a c-section. However, she should know more after she has a sonogram on Monday. that baby b can flip and that everything will work out. I'm so happy to hear the babies are still hanging in there; if I remember correctly Barbara should be 35 weeks by now, so that's just great.

I've been feeling under the weather for the past few days with a nasty cold. I honestly can't remember the last time I had a cold; it sucks! It's so annoying when you're already having a hard time sleeping and then not being able to breathe through your nose. Oh well, at least I'm not working, so I can rest as much as possible, and I have to say I can definitely see a difference in the swelling (or lack thereof) when I'm off my feet more as I have been the last couple of days. So that's good. My OB app is this afternoon; I'm supposed to get the strep b test, so we'll see how that goes. I'll post about it later; now I'm off to take a hot shower.

Oh, btw, that full moon thing someone mentioned upthread is interesting. Is it just an old wives tale or is there something to it? I've heard that ERs and L&D usually staff more people around the full moon, because they do see an increase in patients, but not sure if it's an urban legend or not. Just realized the other day that my due date (April 9) is actually a full moon (!!), so who knows...Just glad I made it through this month's without delivering :-)

OMG Susan - I'm so happy that you posted!! It's wonderful that Taylor got to come home and is doing well. I'm sorry that Chance is still in the NICU - grow Chance grow!! I'll continue to pray for your sweet little boy.

Deanna I'm glad you got a good rest last night - 3 trips to the br is pretty good .

Lauren I feel your pain . I'm just wiped out with all the br trips and waking to change sleep positions.

J Let us know how the moms of multiples sale goes - I'm for you!!

Amy I'm so glad your dh is back - bet you had the best nights sleep you've had in days .

Angela I know it's so frustrating to see something that needs to get done - very tempting to do it yourself. My dh got upset with me a few times - like I was doing it myself to force him to do it (which I wasn't - just tired of looking at it).

Well my appmt went well. The NST was good overall - no heartrate decelerations but they wanted to see more accelerations than they did. Not sure what is going on since I ate before going and the baby was moving for like half of the test. The DR wants me to come in twice a week now so I go in for another NST on Friday. As far as my April 3rd induction date it now seems more tentative than it did at first - the DR said again "if you make it that far" and that even if I do and am doing well and the lo is doing well he may then put off the induction until the beginning of the following week.... I asked why he thought I might not make it till April 3 - my bp was great today - and he said that with chronic high bp the mom's bp can be controlled on meds but you can still have problems with placental functioning. I'm that things go well at my Friday appmt.

So sorry you are feeling under the weather, like we do not have enough problems now.lol
I hope Barbara can hold on,those boys will be here before you know it.
Lauren-Have you tried Ambien. My OB and MFM says it is perfectly fine in pregnancy.I am still skeptical but have taken it twice.
So my OB appt went well.No liver problem,BUT along with my PUPPPS I have to stay on a Banana/Rice/Applesauce and Toast diet until my rash goes away .Yummy, she said that I must have become allegic to something that used to not bother me.Doesn't surprise me.I have the worst skin allergies,I am allergic to band-aids and the buttons on my pants!Good news,I have an Amnio on Tuesday, if the results are mature we are going to schedule my c-section for the 21st(Saturday, a whole week before what she was going to do ).If not, I will have to wait another week. I am excited but nervous.I would be 37 weeks on the 21st,is that pretty good with twins?

Great job on the BP
I think the little one's just get lazy near the end because my girls were lazy today too.Even if you make it to April 3rd that is less than a month
