You'd think I didn't have a child already. I guess it's been so long (almost 10 years). I just didn't expect to be so worried this time around.

I think Blaine likes to cuddle with my boob more than eat. We really struggled getting started with breastfeeding because he just wouldn't stay awake. We are doing much better today and actually had one feeding where I didn't have to supplement with formula. Woohoo!
Last baby was 14 years ago and I feel like a first time Mom all over again. It's not that you forget stuff...you just don't remember how scared you once were.

Just checking in to say hi. My little munchkin is still as active as ever and making me very uncomfortable. But... only 4 more days of work (including today) and then I can relax. Less than two weeks until my c-section!

Maggie: your c-section is tomorrow!!!! How very exciting!

I'll try to get caught up later as I really want to leave work early today. I'm hoping to be able to do so. I tried yesterday and ended up staying there until about 4:45... so much for leaving early. 15 minutes in my world, is NOT early.

Good Morning Thread Sisters;

Has anyone been experiencing really bad migraine headache after having the baby? Mine was so bad yesterday I had to go to the Dr. my bp when my dh took it at home was 110/90 I was seeing blurry and with white lights in my vision. I went to the dr he put me on imetrix and now I have to see a neurologist. I cant be in a room with lights on or even the tv, I didnt even want to hear noise. As soon as I came home from the dr I went to sleep so I slept from 8pm last night until my dh had to go to school this morning at 6 am
If anything I know my body could have used the sleep.
I am so scared it going to come back again today. I was thinking maybe it is just the hormones in my body trying to regulate itself.

Deanna - LOL..Maybe blaine is going to be booby man. Its good that you didnt have to supplement. I wish I could have breast fed the twins. But I love hearing when woman do. It must be such a wonderful experience.

Mette - Keeping Felix in my prayers.

Susan - Keeping Chance in my prayers.

Megan - Keeping Kole in my prayers.

I usually have them first month after givnig birth. It's your hormones. But when I'm nursing I also have them but not as often as during first trimester

Sue - My c-section isn't until 4 central time. I have to be at the hospital by 2... and between the surgery itself and an hour in recovery, you probably won't hear anything until after 6.

Shawna, Glad your boys are doing well! We need some new pictures of your boys!

I know they can only focus a certain distance and that they can't see color.

To those that are nursing, are your LO's falling asleep at the breast? Ethan can have just woken up and will eat and doze at the breast. He's eating enough, but I'm always trying to wake him up. I even undress him to eat.

You'd think I didn't have a child already. I guess it's been so long (almost 10 years). I just didn't expect to be so worried this time around.

Angela OMG these are the exact same things I've been worried about - the sleeping, the roaming eyes, the falling asleep while eating (I do diaper changes as we get into the feeding to wake her up). I also feel like since I have older kids I should be more confident. I didn't expect to be nervous either but I am.

Megan I'm so glad Kole and Kensley are doing better. I lkove the pictures of them - soooo cute!!

J Your getting everything ready! Not long now! It's a great sign that your girls move around so much. My super girly side is coming out now too and I wasn't even aware that I had one LOL. The infantseat is pink and brown, the swing is lavender and cream colored, and I'm planning on getting bottles in girl colors. Mind you with my boys I got all the boy stuff. I think for me it's part of celebrating who they are - although Emma may correct me as she gets older if she decides to be more of a tom boy .

Deanna I think you're right that you just don't remember how scared and unsure you were. Does get easier over time though as the baby gets older.

Barbara I'm so sorry that you're having headaches - *not* what you need while caring for 2 babies!!!

Maggie GL tomorrow!! Can't wait to hear about your birth experience and see pics of your boys!

Shawna I'd love to see pics of your boys - for some reason I wasn't able to view the link you posted after their birth. Do they still look alike?

I'll try to update more later, but we have another addition...

Zander was born at 10:06 p.m. Sunday, April 5th. He weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.

He is bald, probably will have dark eyes and huge feet.

More details and pictures later.

Congrats to others...

Hi ladies!

Ok,I have a lot to catch up on.It has been so busy.Ali has had a belly ache for a couple days.Cami has been fussy and wants to eat every hour!I am exhausted but when I get a chance to just cuddle them I forget everything. No one ever said it would be easy.It is just so hard when you can't do anything to help them,I hate to see them uncomfortable!!!!Other than that they are beautiful and so sweet

Zander!!!!!Congrats Heather
Audra-Emma is a cutie,I love her little cheeks!
Maggie-Good luck,I can't wait to see pics of your boys!
Shawna-I can't believe they are 2 months Are you getting a routine now?We need recent pics!!
Barbara-I have had horrible headaches.Nothing helps.I thought it was the spinal but could be hormones. It makes everything so much harder.I feel for you
Amybeth-you are so close, hang in there and rest rest rest!
Scarlet- Sydney comes early!
J-You have done such a great job,I can't wait to see the pics of your little girls!
Megan-The twins are so cute, they will be home in no time!
Angela-The girls have the same roaming of the eyes,it is kinda freaky but I think it is normal!I saw Ethan on the picture thread and he is such a cute little guy!
Sue-Hoping Valerie is doing better!

All the ladies in waiting, hang in there, you are so close!
Those with little ones, you also hang in there!
