I haven't had much time to catch up on everyone. Welcome to Elijah.

Blaine and I have been struggling with breastfeeding. He is so tiny and I am very swollen. I am just pumping and giving him a bottle right now. He lost 4 oz at our first pediatrician visit so, I am trying not worry about how he gets it...just that he does. We will work on latching a few times a day but, he is still stuggling with it.
He is such a good baby. Doesn't cry much. Little whimpers to let me know he needs something. It's very sweet. I will try to catch up more when things get a little more regular around here. We have no set routine. What Blaine says goes right now.

Jen: I can't believe that they scheduled your delivery for 38 1/2 weeks!!! With twins that's amazing!

AFM, my appointment today went well. It was super long, but it was good. I got there and within a few minutes they took me back and hooked me up to the NST machine. They left me hooked up for about 40 minutes (which seemed long to me). Everything went well with the NST it seemed, based upon my oh-so-medical-background! My Dr walked in, looked at the printout, and said "they'll be in shortly to unhook you"... and bolted from the room. I thought that was odd and I freaked out a little as she didn't say anything about the test looking good or not, but whatever... The nurse walked back in a few minutes later and said they were going to move me to a room and that I needed to get undressed from the waist, down. That seemed strange to me as they said last week no more exams as they didn't want to trigger labor and they knew I was having a section anyway... But I figured maybe something was odd with the NST, so I did as told... A few minutes later one of the nurses walked in and said my Dr had been called upstairs for a delivery and that she'd be back in about 30 minutes. So there I laid on the exam table, covered in a paper sheet, for another 30-40 minutes. I tried to snooze, but couldn't... the exam tables aren't exactly the most comfortable places to be. My Dr finally walked in, said "we can't do exams for you because of the previa" and then said next time I come in that if they tell me to get undressed, I just say no! The good news is that all looked good with the NST. I'm contracting, but nothing they were worried about, and the little guy is very reactive, so that's good too! I only have one more appointment now before the c-section!!! I scheduled it with the Dr who will be doing the c-section too, so that will make me feel a little less nervous I hope!

Scarlet: My next OB appoinment and NST is April 14th. Maybe with a little luck for you, Sydney will be here by then!!!

So sorry amy. I would have been furious. I thought my 20 minutes on the NST was way too long. I hate when the techs say get undressed. They told me to do that for the NST. I was cold and uncomfortable and put my clothes back on and concluded that I can pull my shirt up and my sweats down and make the test work. My doc hasn't check my cervix since 23 weeks. Only the two docs I went to see besides her checked it. Otherwise, I keep my clothes on. I am sorry you were in the room with that darn paper rattling around everytime you move. I get mad thinking about it.

Baby O- I feel all kinds of aches and pains but they are getting more intense. 6 days more!!!!!

ASFM, I had the worst contractions last night. It got down to 6 minutes apart and then they finally let up. I also think I had a bloody show this morning? I'm still having contractions, but nothing like last night. Maybe, just maybe she's coming soon .

Sorry it has been so long that I've posted.

all the new babies. I'm still hanging in at 38 weeks tommorow. Had my first cervical check today. I'm 2 cm dilated, cervix is nice and thin and the baby is very low. The doctor said it could be any day so lets hope that this baby decides to come soon lol.
