Scarlet: Yea!!! I know how anxious you are for Sydney to be here!

Courtney: Sounds like your little one will be right around the corner too! Don't forget to text me and I'll get the news updated for everyone!!!

AFM, tomorrow is my last day at work!!! I have a few things to finish up, but nothing that I can't do within hopefully about 4 hours... I want to make it a super early day tomorrow. I'm pretty sure the little guy has dropped more in the last day... One of the girls I work with said to me today (in front of about 15 people in a meeting), "wow, I haven't seen you all week and you look way bigger than last week"! I glared at her and said "thanks, that's just what I needed to hear right now"... DH happened to be there too and he just shook his head and said "wow, you really shouldn't have said that"... I asked him later if I really looked that much bigger and he laughed, and said "um, yes". I didn't gain any more weight (maybe about 1/4 lb) since last week, but I feel so much bigger. DH said he's pretty sure the munchkin has dropped further and it's just the way he's positioned now that's making me look bigger. Then he did the totally right thing and told me it was cute.

Anyway, I'm off to go collapse on the couch now.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Scarlet- the day is near for Sydney. It sounds like your body is making progress.

AmyBeth- I know that I looked bigger towards the end even though I had lost weight which isn't uncommon before labor begins.

Zander!!
Elijah!
Reid! Owen!!

The babies are coming so fast now!!

Deanna Blaine's pics are so cute!

Sue Love Valerie's christening pics! You're fast with that. Emma christening will be in July.

Mary Kay and Angela I was so excited to read your posts about anxiety. I have long suffered from anxiety problems but was doing well. After her birth however my anxiety problems resurfaced and I'm struggling a bit to not worry myself sick. Good to hear that there are others out there with similar struggles. For me it is an overall increase in my base level of anxiety and also panic attacks. I sure hope it improves for me. I'm driving dh crazy too. Like you were both saying I really want to enjoy this time and not be miserable b/c of the anxiety but it is so hard to fight it sometimes. I not only worry about the baby but about my ds's too. sigh. Hope I'm not making myself sound like a nut case - I'm just so worried about going back to where I was. Sure hope this is passing.

I'm a nut case!lol Are you thinking of taking any meds?I really dont want to.It is getting better but I still have my moments.Anxiety makes you feel crazy. The girls are almost 3 weeks old, time is going way too quick. We dont plan on having anymore kids either.I just want to live life,I will say it helps to know I'm not by myself bc DH is so laid back and not much help when it comes to that.

Barbara- Ours were eating every three hours in the ICN/NICU. Are you trying to get them to stretch by settling, giving them a soother and waiting it out? That's what the nurses told us when we came home. To settle, soothe and try to get them sleep a little longer instead of giving into the bottle temptation every two hours. At this point, the boys are 9 weeks old and going anywhere from 3 and a half hours to four and a half, sometimes even five between feedings. Good luck!

I feel so bad for not keeping up with everyone! I've missed a lot of the pictures and birth stories but I've been really busy and there is a ton of "family drama" going on....

I hope you are all doing well and that all the babies are doing AWESOME!!!

Hi everyone! Today is my last day at work!!!!! Woohoo!!! I've got a few things to finish up and then I'm going to try to come home early. I can't wait for the day to be over so I can start my relaxing and mental preparation for April 20th!!!

Megan: I'm so happy everyone is home now! What great news to read this morning!

Mary Kay: you made me laugh using the word "nutcase"... We call our dog that all the time... not that I'm equating you to our dog (heehee) but I seriously didn't think anyone else ever used that word any more!!!

Shawna: Good to hear from you! Sounds like you have quite the system going now with the munchkins!!!

Deanna: I don't really care that I look huge now, I just have to remember I'm pregnant! It's just when others don't think before they open their mouths and say things like they did, that sets me off. I just really wanted to tell her to think before she speaks!!! It is a little soothing however to know you went through the whole "looking huge" thing too.

OK, off to go get ready for work. The sooner I get there, the sooner I get all my stuff done and the sooner I can start my maternity leave!!!

audra - deanna - I dont suffer from the panic attacks & anxiety. But my dd who is 24yrs old does, it all started from her being home with my son when he passed.
Over the last 2yrs its been really bad with her. She did the whole meds thing, speaking to someone. But ever since I told her I was preg. and started to show.
It all went away. ( somewhat I think) She was so happy about it too.
But, now ( I posted this on another thread) She is preg. and due in Oct. I am afraid its going to come back.
She made it a strong point before I got preg. when I was trying. She told me " Mommy I can never watch another baby by myself, I dont ever want to be alone with your baby" Of course she is thinking it may happen again.
I feel so helpless in the past when she would have an attack. What should I do to help get through this when she is having them? Believe me you dont want to know some of the things I have said to her in the past.

OMG Scarlet!!!! Can't wait to hear news!

Barbara I am so sorry that your dd suffered through that. I can see how having her own baby would put extra stress on her. Can her baby wear a SIDS monitor when he/ she comes home? The Dr would prob OK b/c I don't think they really know what causes SIDS/ whether it runs in families and of course just for peace of mind. I have always had anxiety probs but during the pregnancy I had alot of trouble having us's done - I kept flashing back to getting the horrible news about our son. This happened even after they told me everything was fine (though it was better than at the beginning of the pregnancy).

Mary Kay I have thought of meds but really don't want to b/c I'm worried about becoming dependant. I've continued to eliminate all caffeine which helps a little. My dh is also really laid back. He tries to sympathize but sometimes really doesn't understand what I'm worried about (which makes sense b/c rationally I don't always get it either). We now have gotten to the point where he realizes that sometimes what I need is a reassuring hug and for him to tell me that really, really, *really* there is nothing to worry about. He's always honest with me so if he says that I believe him.

Barbara Emma eats every 2.5 hours give or take but I measure the time from the start of one feeding to the start of the next. It really tough to put her off if she wants to eat too.

Well I better go Ihave to take Emma to the Dr for a weight check .

Hi girls! OMG, Scarlet, how exciting! I can't wait to hear!

Girls with anxiety, you guys sound exactly like me and your DH's sound exactly like mine. He's really laid back too. He finally admitted while I was sobbing into my dinner the other night that it's hard for him to relate because he doesn't know what it's like. I feel like you guys. I just need him to hug me and say that there's nothing to worry about. He'll say everything's ok, but I think you need the hug too, lol! He thinks since he said two days ago that everything's ok that that should have been enough. I said, I don't care if you have to say it every day, it's what I need to hear! Are you guys high strung by nature too? I am and I think it's definitly a personality trait.

Love you guys! I am so glad we're here for each other!

Hi everyone!
Thanks for all of the positive wishes and cheering us on! The c-section was a really neat experience. I don't regret choosing to have one. I was awake, and didn't feel anything. The only bad part was my DH got to hold the babies first!
Owen (Baby B) swallowed some amniotic fluid and went to the regular nursery for 2 hours before coming into our room, but other than that, the boys are healthy!

Nursing is going okay. We are adjusting slowing to life together! I could just stare at the boys all day long!

I'll try to attach a pic...
